But before he embarks on his world tour, the 65-year-old will stop by Inverness this spring.
The Canadian icon will perform his live album Bare Bones at Eden Court on Friday, April 25.
The tickets cost £72.50 each and bookings will be limited to eight per customer.
The pre-sale for Eden Court Friends members takes place tomorrow at 9am, while general sale begins on Friday, February 28 at 9am.
In May, the Everything I Do singer will perform a string of dates in the UK with two in Scotland.
His first stop north of the border will be in Aberdeen, as he is set to play the P&J Live on May 11.
After a brief stop in the granite city, it’s a trip to Glasgow where Adams will perform at the OVO Hydro, on May 13.
But his tour doesn’t stop there, after a three-show stint in Scotland, he’s headed back down to England to complete his trip.
The rest of his tour will see Adams play venues in Spain, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Croatia, and Finland.
Born in Kingston, Ontario, the rocker has one brother and his parents were Brits who came to Canada from Plymouth in the 1950s.
He got into music by sitting in for cover bands and was a temporary vocalist for the band Sweeney Todd aged 15.
In 1978 he signed to A&R for one dollar and started recording music, before releasing a self-titled debut album in 1980, working with fellow songwriter Jim Vallance.
Adams is best known for his tracks Summer Of ’69, Heaven, (Everything I Do) I Do It For You and Run To You.
Everything I Do was written for the 1991 movie Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves, starring Kevin Costner, and the single was at Number One for several weeks in countless countries.

NO-ONE will be prouder when Barry Ferguson manages Rangers for the first time against Kilmarnock tomorrow night than his nearest and dearest.
And that includes his sons Connor and Kyle, two young men who had the privilege of a front row seat at times as Ferguson won five league titles for the Ibrox men as a player.

Kyle has followed his dad’s footsteps into pro football, where he once played alongside his cousin Lewis for the Rangers academy.
Lewis, the son of Barry’s older brother – and another Gers legend – Derek, has since gone on to find fame and fortune with Bologna out in Serie A.
But Kyle is piecing together an interesting career too – after spells studying out in New York state, he’s had spells at Clyde and in Swedish football and now plays as a centre half for National League side Rochdale.
He took to social media last night to say: “Proud. Always has and always will be my hero.”
Older brother Connor, another massive Ibrox fan, said simply: “Unreal” adding a light blue emoji to his post.
Kyle has previously spoken about what a big help his dad has been throughout his career.
He said: “He always says he’s my biggest fan but also my biggest critic which is true because I could play the best game of my life and he’d be like ‘aye you played alright but what about this mistake here’, which is really good because it keeps me grounded as well.
“Obviously he’ll come to games, when I was playing regularly at Altrincham he came down for my debut and two or three games after that.
“All the way through my life he’s been there to give me advice. Maybe sometimes I think I’m right but obviously he’s the one that’s been through it all and played in the Champions League at the age I am just now so I take it on board. But the information he’s given me and the wee tips are invaluable.”
Barry is due to meet the media for the first time in his new role this afternoon.
In an initial RangersTV interview released last night, he insisted there ARE good players in this team.
“It is my job to get a kick out of this group of players because, when I watched them, I think there are really good players there.

It was certainly a busy day for the Washington Wizards at the NBA trade deadline. Given that they were a rebuilding squad who had plenty of veterans, Washington was expected to be big time sellers. MARS once looked like a tropical holiday destination with sun-soaked beaches, lapping waves and gentle breezes – according to new evidence from a Chinese rover.
Scientists now believe there was a large ocean on the north side of the planet – and conditions that could have supported life – instead of today’s dry, dusty plains.

ReutersScientists now believe the north of the planet was covered in a large ocean – as illustrated here[/caption]
ReutersChinese rover Zhurong and its lander on Mars’s surface, captured by a detached camera[/caption]
The revelations come in a new study based on readings from the rover, which fired radar into the ground to analyse the planet’s subterranean layers.
Professor Benjamin Cardenas of Pennsylvania State University, co-author of the study, said: “We found evidence for wind, waves, no shortage of sand — a proper, vacation-style beach.”
He added: “Shorelines are great locations to look for evidence of past life. It’s thought that the earliest life on Earth began at locations like this, near the interface of air and shallow water.”
The pioneering discoveries used data from China’s Zhurong rover, which touched down on the Red Planet in 2021 and operated for a year, shooting radar pulses 80m down into Mars’s crust.
The vehicle first landed on a region called the Utopia Planitia, and travelled 1.2 miles across to slopes which scientists think are remnants of a 4billion-year-old shoreline.
The radar probe showed there are thick layers of sandy rock underground, sloping down at around 15 degrees.
This is a similar angle to the shorelines on Earth, suggesting Mars had beaches much like our own.
Researchers even analysed the tiny particles of rock to show they are about the same size as a grain of sand.
This helped scientists to conclude that Mars once had a large ocean of liquid water – something the planet is far too cold to support today, where temperatures sit around -65 Celsius.
The ocean and beaches existed on Mars when it had a much thicker atmosphere and warmer climate.
Professor Michael Manga of the University of California, Berkeley, another co-author of the paper, said: “The structures don’t look like sand dunes. They don’t look like an impact crater. They don’t look like lava flows. That’s when we started thinking about oceans.”
He continued: “These features have both the right orientation and the right slope to support the idea that there was an ocean for a long period of time to accumulate the sand-like beach.”
The study authors believe that rivers carried sand and sediment to the ocean from higher ground, which was the spread across the shoreline to form beaches.
The discovery of an ocean that once rippled across Mars’s surface also raises new prospects that life could once have bloomed on our solar-system neighbour.

EPAA photo taken by a camera on the rear of the Zhurong rover[/caption]
Researchers now believe Mars could have been wet and warm for tens of millions of years – a potential window for alien life to prosper.
Prof Manga said: “The capabilities of the Zhurong rover have allowed us to understand the geologic history of the planet in an entirely new way.
“Its ground-penetrating radar gives us a view of the subsurface of the planet, which allows us to do geology that we could have never done before.
“All these incredible advancements in technology have made it possible to do basic science that is revealing a trove of new information about Mars.”
The rover used a combination of high and low frequency radar in order to “see” the underground formations.
PABarry Ferguson has been placed in charge of Rangers until the end of the season[/caption]
Kenny RamsayHis first game will be against Kilmarnock[/caption]
PAHe will go up against former team mate Derek McInnes[/caption]
Ferguson, 47, won 15 trophies across two spells with his boyhood heroes and in that first spell he played alongside current Kilmarnock boss Derek McInnes.
Indeed, the young Ferguson’s emergence in the midfield arguably played a part in McInnes eventually leaving Gers in 2000.
The two will now pit their wits against one another in the dugout, with McInnes’ vast coaching experience going against Ferguson’s relatively sparse managerial record.
When it comes to the two teams themselves, Rangers of course go into this one on the back of another shock defeat, this time to St Mirren at Ibrox, and the 2-0 loss was enough for Philippe Clement to finally lose his job.
Killie meanwhile were beaten 3-2 by Hearts at Tynecastle, leaving them in ninth position in the Premiership table.
Here’s all you need to know ahead of the match.

Team news
How Ferguson approaches his first game as Rangers manager is anyone’s guess.
He was a fan of 4-4-2 at Clyde but used a 4-2-3-1 at Alloa.
In terms of injuries, that’s one thing he and Clement will have in common.
McInnes meanwhile has been dealing with injuries to captain Kyle Vassell and defender Stuart Findlay and while both of them are expected to return soon, this one might be a game too soon.

CHERYNE Guebbas transformed her life after losing 12 stone, but her success came with an unexpected downside – unwanted catcalls from men.
Growing up, the now 28-year-old was mocked for her weight, with her first memory of bullying happening when she was just six years old and weighed seven stone.
Since having surgery in 2021, Cheryne has lost 12-and-a-half stonemediadrumimagesmediadrumimagesShe now eats smaller, balanced meals and no longer craves junk food[/caption]
“At school everyone made fun of me, so I took refuge in food,” she explained.
At her heaviest Cheryne, from Montbéliard, France, reached 25 stone.
Yet, she still considered herself healthy, despite her size and the cruel comments from strangers.
Online, people would ask her, “Aren’t you ashamed to show this picture? How come you’re married with that weight?” or the more familiar “fat cow,” she said.
“I honestly thought I was fine before I lost weight,” she said.
Sometimes it was more subtle, like, “Too bad, you’ve got a beautiful face’, ‘You’d be so beautiful if you were thin,” she said,
It wasn’t until everyday tasks became harder, like getting dressed she realised something needed to change.
The turning point came when she took her six-year-old son, Abdal-Malick, to a soft play centre.
After losing sight of him, she realised she couldn’t climb into the play area to look for him.
Luckily, her son was fine, but the incident “scared”, Cheryne.
The mum decided to have gastric bypass surgery, one of the most common weight loss procedures in the world.
It’s often performed on those for who other forms of weight loss, such as diet and exercise, have not worked.
“It was a tough decision,” she said, but she believed the benefits—better health and mobility – were worth the risk.
During the procedure staples are used to create a small pouch at the top of the stomach.
This means it takes less food to make you feel full and you’ll absorb fewer calories from the food you eat.
Patients must stick to a strict diet and exercise plan after the operation.

Many people find that they are left with lose folds of skin after they lose weight which can require further surgery to correct.
Gastric bypass surgery also comes with many potentially fatal risks, including internal bleeding and blood clots, according to the NHS.
Since having surgery in 2021, Cheryne has lost 12-and-a-half stone.
Even though she unexpectedly fell pregnant with her son Luqman and separated from her husband, Cheryne stuck to a strict gym routine.
“I went to the gym every day after dropping off my son.
“I worked on my arms on Mondays, my thighs and buttocks on Tuesdays, and my back on Wednesdays,” she explained.

The pair were asked if there was anyone they knew before the villa that came across differently on the show.
This ended up leading to Ekin-Su making a subtle yet savage swipe at Gemma Owen after making a veiled jibe.
Curtis said India Reynolds, touching on how she “came out of her shell a little bit”.
Ekin then said: “Such a shame she went early. Really nice girl, got on well with her.”
She then replied to the question with her response, saying: “I would say probably Luca for me, because we did the same series together.
“You know, Luca in my series was, I think like, you know, he was with Gemma at the time and I was with my ex.
“But I think it’s just nice to see Luca happy, and I’m just proud that he found someone.”
She added: “Definitely for me, he definitely came out of his shell more on my season, and just been himself and been vulnerable which has been lovely to see.”
Curtis then said: “Luca did go on a big journey in there,” adding how during week one he was “true to himself”.
“He didn’t fancy anyone, he basically just said how it was,” he added.
Ekin then chimed in, saying: “He could have played the came and just, you know, but he was very real to himself and he stuck there until he found the right connection.”
“Yeah, I didn’t know him before, but I do have to respect him for that to be fair. He did stick to his guns,” Curtis added.
Ekin and Luca both appeared in the 2022 summer series of Love Island, where they both found love in the villa.
Turkish actress Ekin-Su entered the villa on day three as a bombshell and won the show alongside Davide Sanclimenti.
