Yuki Tabata has created a plethora of characters for Black Clover, each different than the rest. In fact, the Black Bulls themselves might be the selection of the oddest bunch of people. From a tiny food destroyer to a goth guy and an anti-magic holder, Yuki Tabata has not backed down from a challenge when it comes to creating unique characters.
But having this many people in the cast, especially in some crowded arcs, means that some of the characters would end up getting ignored. But Black Clover fans think that getting ignored is a far better fate than Tabata sadistically treating one character.
One of the sweetest Black Bull members is often misunderstood

Gordon Agrippa is a magic knight belonging to the Black Bull squad. His grim appearance is often intimidating and his goth look makes it hard for people to approach him. This, often leaves him lonely as he can rarely have a heart-to-heart talk with anyone.
In reality, Gordin is not only kind but also deeply empathetic. His dream is to bond with his teammates. He mumbles eerily, but he is actually making encouraging remarks at his comrades. He is one of the first people who readily accepts new members with zero hesitation.

However, his friendly nature, coupled with scary looks and low volume, makes his positive traits irrelevant. Whatever positivity he spouts gets overshadowed by others talking over him. All in all, he is an adorable character who has won over the hearts of fans. Unfortunately, Yuki Tabata is one of those people who does not treat Gordon with the respect he deserves.
Yuki Tabata has a sadistic outlook towards Gordon in Black Clover

In one of the episodes of the Black Clover anime, the Black Bulls went on a trip to the beach, but Gordon was nowhere to be found. In fact, the anime showed that he was actually left behind. To cope with his loneliness, Gordon drew a face on a rock and talked to it as if it was a human.

This scene made fans realize that Yuki Tabata is sadistic in his treatment of the character. But there is one detail that might have been missed. In the manga, Gordon himself asks if he could be left out because the sun is too harmful for him. Then, he proceeded to lament since he missed his comrades. However, the anime omits this part to make it look like the squad forgot Gordon.

But this is not the only time Tabata had sidestepped Gordon. The goth character only shines in a few small sections of the series, where he serves some specific purposes. Fans rely on him due to his loyal and trustworthy nature, but Tabata himself is yet to give Gordon a major role to play in the series.
The Black Clover manga is available to read on Viz Media and the anime is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
