Avowed is finally available, and Obsidian has already released a sizable update for the fantasy action RPG. Gameplay that reminded players of Skyrim and a universe that acts as a spiritual successor to Baldur’s Gate made the game one of the most hyped releases of 2025, and so far, it’s largely held up to expectations. Still, no title is ever perfect at launch, so Avowed is introducing some major fixes upfront while detailing longer-term plans.
