Avowed doesn’t allow items to be equipped to the game’s companions, but this actually proves to be a huge benefit to gameplay. At first glance, it might be somewhat frustrating that companions can’t take any of the game’s good loot. This is especially true if players aren’t using those weapons or armor for themselves, and it feels like the items are going to waste sitting in their inventory. However, the further into Avowed one gets, the more they will likely appreciate not having to manage their allies’ equipment.
