Europa League supercomputer predicts every round of knockouts with Man Utd and Tottenham scrapping for silverware

A SUPERCOMPUTER has predicted which teams could be in contention for the Europa League title – and it’s good news for Tottenham.

The Europa League round-of-16 kicks off tonight, with all remaining teams in action.

Man Utd, meanwhile, are unlikely to go all the way[/caption]

Tottenham travel to the Netherlands to face AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of their clash.

Meanwhile, Manchester United take on Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena.

The likes of Ajax, Rangers and Roma are also in action as the race to Bilbao continues.

But none of those teams have the best chance to win, according to a supercomputer.

A supercomputer from Opta claims that Lazio are most likely to lift the trophy at San Mames Stadium.

The Italian giants have a 19.1 per cent chance of winning the Europa League, a 33 per cent chance of reaching the final and a 55.1 per cent chance of making it to the semi-finals.

Opta’s simulation is also 77.6 per cent confident that they will beat Viktoria Plzen in the last-16 across two legs.

According to the supercomputer, Tottenham have the second-best chance of winning the title.

Spurs have a 14.5 per cent chance of lifting the trophy, a 25.7 per cent chance of making the final, a 44.4 per cent chance of reaching the semi-finals and a 70.7 per cent chance of beating Alkmaar in the round-of-16 this week and next.

Man Utd, however, are fifth in line behind Athletic Bilbao and Roma.

The Red Devils have been limited to just a 7.4 per cent chance of winning the competition, with a 15.5 per cent chance of reaching the final.

The supercomputer has also given United a 53 per cent chance of beating Real Sociedad.

Ruben Amorim and Co have endured a miserable run of results recently.

They currently sit 14th in the Premier League table, level on points with West Ham.

At the other end of the Europa League rankings, FCSB have been deemed the team least likely to win, with just a 0.6 per cent chance.

JOE Baggs became a household name for kicking back in front of the TV on Gogglebox – but this time, Fabulous has lined up a whole new kind of chill for him.

Taking part in Fabulous’ latest Spill or Chill? YouTube challenge, the social media star faced some seriously steamy questions and had some particularly strong opinions about one racy topic.

When asked, “Do you prefer having sex in the morning or night?”

Joe snapped back, “Whoever likes morning sex, you’re gross… morning breath is a whole thing”

However, he confesses that his dislike of morning lovemaking isn’t just because of bad breath, as he makes a bizarre confession about his elaborate sleep set-up and his boyfriend’s annoying habit.

“I sleep [with] AirPods in, with rain sounds on [and] my retainer [in]. I [then] switch to earplugs because Kaine snores,”

“If you’re waking me up to have sex with me, I’m gonna look like… a dead rugby player. It’s not going to be nice. So, no morning sex – ever!” he said.

Love is in the Air

Joe and Kaine first met at Soho House after an interaction that Joe described as “very awkward and weird,”

“Kaine actually didn’t look me in the eye, and didn’t come over and say hello,” he confessed in his podcast.

Awkwardly, Kaine explained that this was because he thought Joe was dating his friend at the time.

The pair then later met at influencer Maddie Jepson’s party, where Joe says he decided to “shoot [his] shot”.

Joe and Kaine went Instagram official in November 2023.

Kaine is also no stranger to the spotlight, having starred in stage shows such as Mamma Mia and Heathers The Muscial.

In the Hot Seat

Joe is among a host of stars to take part in Fabulous’ steamy new show.

In each episode, celebs choose whether they ‘Spill or Chill?’ as they’re grilled with increasingly steamy questions about relationships and sex while sitting in a sauna.

If they refuse to ‘spill’ their secrets, they’ll face the penalty of ‘chilling’ in a freezing cold plunge bath or bucket shower.

While Joe didn’t shy away from answering whether he’s ever been unfaithful, he was forced to face the icy punishment after refusing to confirm or deny that he’s ever sent nudes to Kaine.

Joe also revealed his favourite ever podcast guest, praising her for making the show “the most chaotic” one yet.

He recalled how the star “took a pair of scissors off the side and cut her hair into a bob” before leaving the Not My Bagg podcast studio.

Sophie & Pete

Sophie Sandiford tops the table as it’s reported she earns over £2.7k per post. Not far behind, Pete is estimated to earn up to £2.2k per post.

Ellie & Izzi

The beauty workers have amassed an impressive number of followers, so it’s no surprise they earn a tidy sum from their social media accounts. In 2022, The Sun reported that the pair can earn up to £2.3k per post.

Giles & Mary

Despite being one of the show’s most beloved couples, Mary and Giles are yet to take Instagram by storm. However, Giles is an artist and reportedly sells his painting for anywhere from £400 to £1000 a piece. Mary is also an author and had worked for The Spectator and The Oldie, bringing their estimated fortune to £300k-£500k.

The little-known €1,160 monthly social welfare boost thousands are eligible for that doesn’t impact payments

THOUSANDS of people around the country could be eligible for a new payment boost that would see them €1,160 a month better off.

The rent-a-room relief scheme is available to those who let out space in their home.

Up to €1,160 a month could be paid out[/caption]

It’s a common idea seen mostly in cities and towns where housing is otherwise hard to come by.

Many students or those who are new to the country rent out a room in someone’s house in exchange for rent payments.

And it’s a little known fact that the payment could be exempt from tax.

The rent-a-room relief scheme aims to be an incentive for people to rent out space in their house.

It states that if you rent out a room in your house, the payment you receive could be tax free.

According to Revenue: “If you let a room in your home, the income you receive may be exempt from tax.

“The income you receive must not exceed the exemption limit of €14,000. If it does, then you are taxed on the total amount.

“Rent-a-Room Relief can only be claimed by individual taxpayers. It is not available to corporate entities.”

But there’s a few conditions which have to be met, the first of which being that the income cannot exceed €14,000.

If it does, you will be taxed on the whole amount.

But if the amount you receive through rent is below €14,000, you can claim it tax free.

It means a major boost in cash every month that could see bag an extra people €1,160.

Another condition is that there must be a continuous letting period, although some exceptions to this may apply.

Since 2019, a continuous letting period means longer than 28 days.

This means that anyone renting a room for a shorter period than 28 days cannot take pat in the rent relief scheme.

And the room must be in a “qualifying residence”, meaning the property must qualify to be part of the scheme.

However, there are some exemptions to the rule which mean that not everyone who rents a room will qualify.

Firstly, the tax relief does not apply if you are renting the room to your child or your civil partner.

It also does not apply if the room is rented to your employer or a short term guest.
