JEAN-PHILIPPE Mateta proved he is as elusive on camera as he is in opposition penalty boxes.
The French striker, 27, has been in blistering form for Crystal Palace in this campaign.
Already, he has scored 11 Premier League goals for the Eagles – as they march up the table.
The former Mainz 05 man played a key role in Saturday’s match against Fulham.
Although, he wasn’t on the scoresheet he proved a menace for the Cottagers’ defenders.
And for his side’s second goal, scored by Daniel Munoz, it was his counter through the middle that conjured up the strike for the Colombian hitman.
Strangely though, as Munoz celebrated with the away fans, behind him a spinning Mateta appeared out of nowhere.
One fan even joked that it looked like Mateta had ‘teleported’ into shot.
While another suggested, ‘I think we had a glitch in the Matrix at Craven Cottage today.’
However, that mad moment didn’t matter in the end.
The Eagles’ win over Fulham was remarkably the first time in 119 years they have won four consecutive games away from home in the top flight.
They were sent on their way when old boy Joachim Andersen scored an own goal in the first half.
Former Genk striker Munoz put the seal on the win in the second half.
Interestingly, moments before Munoz scored – Mateta had a goal ruled out by VAR for offside.
Perhaps if he tried his ‘teleporting’ trick, he might have got that call.
SUMMER is on the horizon and this budget beauty buy can help you prepare.
Home Bargains shoppers shared their excitement over a skincare essential that can protect you in the nice weather.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, one Facebook user shared the impressive deal she came across.
She revealed that she picked up a 100 mililitre bottle of Child’s Farm Sun Cream for just £2.49 from Home Bargains.
The poster pointed out that item is available at the significantly higher price of £12 from Boots.
With a rating of SPF 50+, the budget buy is ideal for protecting your complexion this summer.
It is designed for use on “sensitive skin” with both UVA and UVB protection.
The product is advertised as offering wearer “very high protection” from sun rays.
It is also water-resistant, making it perfect for applying between cool dips this summer.
The travel-size bottle is also ideal for holiday-makers, fitting into your cabin bag.
So whether you’re looking ahead to a warm British summer or planning a sunny getaway, a trip to Home Bargains can help save you money.
The sun cream is recommended for use on ages six months and up.
The “gentle formulation” helps to soothe and protect “delicate and sensitive skin”.
It is designed to be absorbed quickly into your skin, offering “instant protection”.
Facebook users shared their thoughts on the bargain in the comments section.
“Always get this in Home Bargains, it’s cheaper,” wrote one shopper.
“These are so good,” said another impressed commenter.
Dermatologist and skincare enthusiast Andrea Suarez - known as Dr Dray - revealed why you should wear suncream.
The one thing you can do that will make the biggest difference – and this matters for all ages – is protecting your skin from the sun, Andrea stressed.
“The vast majority of external aging is due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation,” she continued, not because you’re “not using some jazzy serum or layering 90 different things on your face everyday”.
“If you’re not doing in your 20s, get on that now.”
But she said the use of sun cream alone doesn’t go far enough. Andrea urged that you also wear sun-protective clothing like broad-brimmed hats and long sleeves, on top of not staying out too long in the sun.
Doing this over your lifetime – and all year, not just during the summer or on sunny days – “will reduce the visible signs of photoageing”, Andrea said.
Those are wrinkles, muddled pigmentation and sagging skin.
Asda is also offering a discounted deal on an anti-ageing Boots buy.
However, if you’re a dedicated Boots shopper, the shop has announced a 50% off sale.
You can also pick up “luxurious” No7 skincare worth £101 for just £40 at Boots.
A mum showed off her impressive 90% off Boots haul, revealing she saved £1,100.
Another customer spent £110 on her buys, which included expensive anti-ageing products.
DANCING On Ice star Colin Grafton made a very sweet tribute to former partner The Vivienne.
James Lee Williams, known as The Vivienne when in drag and who won the first series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, died earlier this year at the age of 32.
The Vivienne famously competed on the 2023 season of Dancing on Ice, and was partnered with Colin while on the show.
And now Colin’s very sweet tribute to his former partner has been revealed after their tragic death.
Last weekend, on Sunday, February 16, Colin and his 2025 dance partner Mollie Pearce performed a routine to Chappell Roan’s Hot To Go.
Sharing a snap of one of his outfits from the weekend, Colin later revealed the sweet meaning behind his outfit.
The outfit he donned was The Vivienne’s save me skate costume they wore on their series of the show, and it was brought out of the Dancing On Ice storage vault for Colin to wear at the weekend.
He said he felt calm, happy, and like The Vivienne was there in spirit rooting them on.
“Tonight was extra special, thank you all for voting,” he penned on Instagram.
Colin went on: “This was The Vivienne’s last costume on our season of Dancing On Ice, and it felt so special to wear it tonight, she was with me.”
He added: “I couldn’t be more prouder of Mollie Pearce.”
An inquest heard earlier this month how a post mortem identified an “unnatural” cause of death after The Vivienne’s passing.
They also revealed that further tests are needed.
Cheshire Coroner’s Court was told Williams was identified by their father, Lee Williams.
Area coroner Victoria Davies said: “Given the unnatural cause of death identified on post-mortem testing it is appropriate for me to formally open the inquest into the death of James Lee Williams.”
She added that further investigations are required.

The inquest was adjourned ahead of a full hearing scheduled for June 30.
Cheshire Police previously confirmed Williams’ death was not being treated as suspicious.
The tragedy was announced by publicist Simon Jones, who paid tribute to the “incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person”.
He added that Williams would be remembered for their “immense talent” and “the light they brought to every room was astonishing”.
