Aston Villa 2 Chelsea 1: Jorgensen in last-minute howler as Asensio scores twice from super-sub Rashford assists

MARCO ASENSIO sunk Chelsea with a brilliant brace – with a little help from Marcus Rashford.

The Spaniard fired in a dramatic 90th-minute winner after tireless work from the Manchester United loanee.

The Spaniard linked up with Rashford earlier in the half following Enzo Fernandez’s opener.

Chelsea needed just nine minutes to break the deadlock, with Fernandez silencing Villa Park.

Pedro Neto left Ian Maatsen standing before crossing into the six yard box where Enzo shook off his marker to score from close range.

It came after another injury blow for the Blues, with defender Trevoh Chalobah forced off.

Villa fought back into the game with Ollie Watkins twice testing Chelsea keeper Filip Jorgensen before the break.

And it was new boy Asensio who pulled them level just ten minutes after the restart.

Rashford did brilliantly to get away on the left, beating the offside trap to square for the Spaniard, who tapped in.

Cole Palmer had a glorious chance to win it late for Chelsea, who remain without an away win since December 8.

But the Blues were made to pay as Asensio profited from a Filip Jorgensen howler in the Chelsea net.
