It led to speculation there could be a trademark last-minute Mullins switcheroo.

But all roads lead to Supreme glory now for the unbeaten Kopek Des Bordes – who could get punters off to a hot start on Tuesday.

Mullins did not include the Grade 1 winner as part of his confirmations for the Turners.

Final Demand owner Bryan Drew said he was considering stepping him up in trip to the Albert Bartlett earlier this week on account of the drying ground.

Punters put two and two together and thought that could lead to Kopek Des Bordes moving up as well, leaving Salvator Mundi as Mullins’ main chance in the Festival opener.

But Mullins has been at pains to point out Kopek Des Bordes’ tendency to be keen – and that the 2m race is ideal for him.

That was backed up in the confirmations, with Final Demand left in the Turners too.

The other Mullins runners to make the cut were: Funiculi Funicula, Inn At The Park, Kaid D’Authie, Kappa Jy Pyke, Karbau, Kel Histoire, Kiss Will, Port Joulain, Sounds Victorious and Supersundae.

More to follow.

I Worked at an Airline & Would Never Do These 4 Things When Flying

As major changes happen in the airline industry, it's important to have your travel habits in sharp shape.

A former airline employee of four years is spilling industry secrets on TikTok, and travelers are taking notes. In the video video, In a TikTok post, Megan Homme offers shared the four things she would never do when flying—insider knowledge that has racked up thousands of views and sparked major discussions among frequent flyers.

From hidden hassles to money-saving tips, her revelations might make you rethink how you travel. Here’s what she had to say—and why you may want to follow her advice before your next flight.

RELATED: 10 Clothing Items You Shouldn't Wear on a Plane

1 | Never book airfare through third parties.

booking flights online on laptop

Homme's first recommendation pertains to the very first step of the travel process, as she says she would never buy her tickets from anywhere but a carrier’s website or app.

Specifically, this means avoiding the temptation to use a third-party booking website or app because it can limit you in the event of a problem.

“If something goes wrong when you’re traveling and you didn’t book directly with the airline, their customer service is not going to be able to help you,” Homme cautions.

2 | Never book the shortest layover.

Airport lock down, Flights cancelled on information time table board in airport while coronavirus outbreak pandemic issued around the world

Even if you have frequent flyer perks like lounge access, no one likes to spend too much time waiting around the airport. But Homme says it's also important to remember that opting to take a flight with a barely-there layover can sometimes set you up for failure.

“For example, if you have the choice between a 45-minute layover and a two-hour layover, you should pick the one that’s two hours,” she suggests. “It’s pretty common for flights to get delayed, like, 10 or 15 minutes, and if you pick that shorter layover, you’re probably going to be out of luck.”

3 | Never stand in the customer service line.

waiting in airport security line

Taking quick action when your flight plans change can be the difference between still making it out on a flight or not. But according to Homme, you might want to think before you rush to speak to a desk agent.

“If I’m at the airport and my flight gets canceled, I am not going to go to the customer service line at the airport: I’m going to immediately call the airline’s customer service on my phone,” she says. “Because I’m going to be helped way before all the customers standing in line to talk to someone at the airport.”

4 | Never check bags if you don't need to.

checking luggage in

Whether it’s avoiding having to carry a heavy suitcase or not wanting to have to change what you pack for the sake of the TSA, it can be tempting to check your bags before you board. However, there are a few reasons to hold on to your luggage.

"I would never check a bag if it wasn't absolutely necessary—especially if I have a connecting flight," says Homme. "Because the best way to keep from losing your bag is keeping it with you at all times, so I just prefer to save myself the headache—and packing light is honestly pretty simple once you learn how to do it."

However, Jane secretly swapped her luxury boats for a shinny studio floor as she hosted an episode of iconic game show Pyramid.

The format was given an hour-long episode by bosses in 2023 that was never planned for broadcast.

It took place in MediaCity studios in Manchester in front of a studio audience with Jane at the helm.

However, The Sun has learnt the show won’t be commissioned for a full series by ITV.

An insider said: “Jane is a brilliant broadcaster and worked really well on the pilot, and the contestants loved her.

“It’s not unusual for pilots not to be given a full series and it’s certainly not a reflection on Jane.

“She’s well respected by ITV, who have signed her up to host the rebooted Soap Awards this year.”

The Chase star Jenny Ryan was also involved in the pilot, with Jane posting a behind-the-scenes snap with The Vixen star on social media.

Pyramid aired in the UK on ITV for five series between 1981 and 1990 under the name The Pyramid Game with Steve Jones as host.

It was rebooted by digital channel Challenge in 2007 for one series with Donny Osmond at the helm.

Just like the US version – which is still on air today – it sees two teams composing of one celebrity and the other a civilian.

Against the clock, they have to convey mystery words and phrases in a certain category to win money.

TKO Saudi boxing league: When does UFC and WWE-backed league start and what does it mean for Eddie Hearn & Frank Warren?

Warren Hearn and Turki Al-Sheikh.

THERE is a new major player in the sport of boxing who could end up changing the landscape of the sport forever.

Saudi bigwig Turki Alalshikh and The Ring Magazine have teamed up with the TKO Group – which owns the WWE and the UFC – to create a new boxing league.

And Alashikh has enlisted the services of UFC supremo Dana White to run the promotion, which he believes will “crush” its rivals in the coming years.

The Chairman of Saudi Arabia‘s General Entertainment Authority said: “If you want to fix boxing or any sport or doing some big project like this, we will not have any options better than Dana White.

“And when I see him in this hotel before, one year (ago), with our friend Nick (Khan, TKO board member), and we are talking about this … we go on back, and we have the same vision.

“And I trust (that) this league, in a short time, will crush everything.”

Alalshikh’s words have sent shockwaves across the boxing world, with promoters and sanctioning bodies now seriously sweating over their futures.

But what does the Saudi-backed league mean for the future of boxing?

Well, SunSport is on hand to bring you everything we know so far about the potentially seismic shift in the sport.

When will the league be officially launched?

An official date for the launch of the league – the name of which remains a mystery – has yet to be revealed.

Alalshikh, however, teased that an announcement will be made on September 12, the day before the eagerly anticipated showdown between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

During an appearance on ESPN, he said: “Ask [Dana] when the first event will be held in September. Ask him to answer… Maybe it’ll be September 12th.”

What will the format be?

Alalshikh has seemingly entrusted White to implement the highly successful and extremely profitable UFC format.

It’s unclear whether the MMA league’s model will translate to the world of boxing given the promotion’s often-criticised revenue split with fighters and No.1-ranked combatants often being overlooked for title shots.

“There’s zero speculation on the format,” White said. “You know the format, and everybody knows the format.

Implementing the UFC model in boxing could prove to be difficult for Dana White[/caption]

“The best fight the best. You work your way up the rankings, and once somebody breaks into the top five, there’s no question who the best five guys in the world are in each weight class, and they fight it out.

“And then, once somebody holds that belt, you don’t need three letters in front of the belt.

“Whoever has that belt is the best in the world in that weight class. It’s a very simple model.”

Potential amendments to or the repealing of the Ali Act – which was introduced in 1999 to protect the welfare of fighters and eliminate anti-competitive practices in the sport – could end up working in favour of White and Co.

What does it mean for promoters?

Veteran promoters Bob Arum, Eddie Hearn, Oscar De La Hoya, Ben Shalom and Frank Warren will undoubtedly be thinking about their futures in the sport following the bombshell announcement.

But they won’t be going anywhere anytime soon as they have most of the talent contractually locked up.

That means the TKO-backed league will initially need to work with Boxxer, Golden Boy, Matchroom, Top Rank and Queensberry Promotions.

Fighters, however, could opt to see out their contracts with their respective promoters and jump ship given the prestige The Ring Magazine belt holds and the promotional power the TKO Group possesses.

The biggest motivator for jumping ship, however, will be the astronomical paydays the Saudis have dished out in recent years.
