MOST people put thought into their airport outfit, aiming for a look that matches the level of glamour they’re striving for.
And if they’re single, they might even fantasise about a chance encounter with their soulmate – just like in the movies.
Tiktok/@stephbohrerSteph’s travels took an interesting turn whilst waiting for her flight[/caption]
For one traveller, something surprisingly similar happened, but not everyone is convinced it’s romantic.
Some are even calling it a ‘red flag’.
Steph Bohrer, 23, recently shared on TikTok a handwritten note she received from a pilot while waiting for her flight.
The influencer, known for her lifestyle and travel content, posted a video of the note, which was scrawled on a napkin with what appears to be a Sharpie pen.
Talking to her followers, she revealed: “I’m sitting at the airport and a pilot just placed this on my table and walked away.”
The video has gained over 11 million views, with 1.7 million likes and over 6,100 people rushing to the comments section.
Many gave Steph a warning about it, as they didn’t think it was a good sign.
One commented: “He’s probably married with five kids.”
A second added: “He didn’t leave a number because he’s someone’s husband.”
Whilst a third said: “’Me think he probably has three families in three different states.”
And a fourth wrote: “Coming from a flight attendant and ex-pilot wife… he’s married and he uses that line everyday. You’re beautiful though.”
And a fifth said: “Sorry to break it to you but pilots say this to every flight attendant and passenger.
“He most likely has a wife and kids at home to be honest.”
Some people couldn’t believe she received this note, with one saying: “You could have written this to yourself but anyway you got your validation from views and likes, queen.”

However, others supported Steph and said: “Everyone on TikTok is so annoying like I’m just eating this up because the compliment is so genuine why is everyone dissing.”
A second said: “I’m sorry?? what in the romcom!!!! I would black out so fast.”
And someone else asked: “When’s the wedding?”

A NETFLIX price hike is set to come into force in just a few weeks – as subscribers gradually receive the dreaded email.
Standard and Premium subscription holders will both be affected by the change – which follows similar increases in the US, Canada, Argentina and Portugal.
GettyNetflix has informed customers of an upcoming price hike[/caption]
In the email, the streaming giant thanked customers for being “valued” members, and reminded them of “everything Netflix has to offer”, before breaking the unwelcome news.
Those with a Standard membership (without adverts) were informed of a £2 increase – bringing their monthly bill to £12.99.
Meanwhile, Premium members be charged £18.99, £1 more than before.
And the Standard subscription without adverts is rising by £1 to £5.99.
The fee to add an extra member will also go up – from £3.99 to £4.99 for Standard members with adverts, and from £4.99 to £5.99 for Standard members without adverts.
The letter signed off: “You’ll always find something you’ll want to watch, keeping you up to date on all the latest trending titles.
“Next month alone, we’re releasing 88 series and films! Whether you want to revisit old favourites or discover something new, we’ve got you covered.”
Customers are receiving the email 30 days before their next billing date – when the hike will come into effect.
However, for new joiners, the upped prices were already locked in on February 6.
Subscribers have been left furious by the email – which is still yet to land in some people’s inboxes depending on their billing cycle.

Taking to X, one said: “Absolute joke of an email from @NetflixUK.
“Thank you for being a valued member… We hope you’re enjoying everything Netflix has to offer.
“‘We’re updating your monthly price…’ What a way to try & hide a price increase and frame it as a thank you!
“Sickeningly poor customer care.”
Another echoed: “This is exactly how to lose customers @netflix!”
A spokesperson for the company said: “As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix.”
Paolo Pescatore, an analyst from PP Foresight told The Sun: “The streaming business is following the traditional pay TV world with annual price rises,” .
“We should get accustomed to these price rises, more so as the streamer broadens its diversified portfolio of programming.
“In particular if it makes further opportunistic moves into acquiring live sports.”
The Sun has reached out to Netflix for further comment.

A “PROFESSIONAL GIRLFRIEND” who gets paid to go on lavish dates has already been showered with over £3k of gifts in 2025 – including a PlayStation 5 and two nights in a 5* hotel.
Ruby Jade, 24, works as a ‘professional girlfriend’ and says men pay her to dress up and go out on fancy dates with them.
Ruby Jade IS A “professional girlfriend” who gets paid to go on lavish datesSWNSThis year, she’s already received a PlayStation 5 and two nights in a 5* hotelSWNS
Her clients also shower her with treats – such as fancy hotel stays, flight upgrades, jewellery, bouquets of flowers and holidays.
Since the start of 2025 alone, she has had more than £3k splashed on her – including a brand-new £490 PS5 and games, a £120 back massager, and a £100 Amazon Alexa.
It also includes being paid over £1,300 to go for fancy meals and cocktails.
Ruby, who doesn’t share her real name, from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, said: “I love my work as a professional girlfriend.
“I’ve been paid to go to fancy dinners, arcades, theme parks, and spas.
“I’ve even been taken on holidays by clients, including a trip to Singapore last year.

“My client who got me the Playstation 5 couldn’t really afford it – he had to do buy-now-pay-later on it to afford it.
“But he really wanted to buy it for me. He also pays for £44-a-week for me to take Chinese lessons.
“Another one paid for first-class flights and a five-star hotel for me when I went on a work trip – he didn’t even see me while I was there!”
Ruby works as a dancer in a strip club but her side hustle as a ‘professional girlfriend’ is now more lucrative than dancing.
Despite being classed as a ‘sex worker’, she insists she never has sex with clients – and the most she’ll do is wear lingerie, or hold hands.
For the clients, the sexual gratification comes from spending time with her, and showering her in gifts.
And the first two months of 2025 have seen her rake in thousands of pounds of gifts and treats.
She was paid almost £500 just for her time when she was invited on a date on Valentine’s Day – on top of enjoying a £150 dinner.
Another time she was paid £500 to go for a meal with a client that came to almost £200 – and didn’t pay a penny of her own money.
She said: “Generally when I go to dinners, I don’t go easy on their wallets.
The 24-year-old is from Brisbane, Queensland, AustraliaSWNSShe says she doesn’t go easy on her client’s walletsSWNS
“I’ll happily rack up a bill of £250 plus and then I ask to take home leftovers!”
She has also been gifted £300 of homeware – including books, smart lights, an outdoor rug, and a giant teddy bear.
She said: “Most of the gifts I get, I pick for myself, I have an Amazon wishlist that clients pick things from.
“But sometimes I get things I could never expect – in the mail today, I got a huge pack of strawberry waffles.
“I never told that client I like waffles, I guess he just wanted me to try them.”
She said her favourite gift of the year has been a gold-dipped ‘eternity rose’ house decoration, because it holds sentimental value to her – even though, at £119, it’s far from the most expensive.
Along with that, to try to ‘win her heart’, the client brought a picnic to her next shift at the club to have with her.
Ruby is continuing stripping, working as a professional girlfriend, and doing her other side hustle – ‘cucking’ – being paid to watch people bonk.
Her aim is to become a millionaire within the next three years, and is already a quarter of the way there, she says.
Ruby says the gifts and holidays don’t add to that total, but says they’re a very welcome addition.
She said: “For the moment, I would never be in a romantic relationship with any of my clients.
“It doesn’t really align with the goals in my life.
“I don’t see myself having a partner at all in reality right now.”

WHEN you think of Aldi skincare, you probably think of dupes.
AldiThe new Aldi HA5+ range promises to hydrate and tighten skin[/caption]
While Aldi do have an extensive range of products inspired by cult buys, they have an even more impressive range of own-brand skincare, and it’s expanding.
A new 4-piece anti-ageing skincare range hits stores this Sunday, 9th March, and every product is under £10.
The HA5+ collection includes a Day Cream, £7.99, Night Cream, £7.99, Eye Cream, £4.99 and Facial Serum, £6.99, and I put them to the test.
Here’s everything you need to know.
AldiAldi’s HA5+ Day Cream delivers lightweight hydration[/caption]
Lacura HA5+ Day Cream, £7.99
This lotion-like cream promises to deliver intensely hydrated and youthful skin, plumping fine lines and boosting radiance. .
Star ingredients include a blend of not one, but five different kinds of hylauronic acid, which draw moisture into the skin alongside nourishing acacia, almond oil and shea butter.
The packing also boasts UV filters, but as there’s no SPF rating for the product, I’d take that with a pinch of salt and apply an additional SPF as normal.
Aldi’s HA5+ Day Cream gets Beauty Editor Tara Ledden’s approval
I’m quite fussy when it comes to moisturiser – I like something that’s lightweight but still leaves my face feeling soft, and shockingly, this ticks all the boxes.
A little goes a long way so the pot will last for ages, although it’s definitely one for those of us with skin on the oily side, as if you struggle with dryness, it won’t be rich enough.
Another thing to note is that it has a quite heavy, almost medicinal scent – I don’t mind it, but it might irritate sensitive skin.
AldiAldi’s HA5+ Night Cream is an unexpected hit with Beauty Editor Tara Ledden[/caption]
Lacura HA5+ Night Cream, £7.99
I feel compelled to be upfront with the fact I don’t usually use a night cream.
As I mentioned, I’ve got oily skin, so tend to use the same moisturiser day and night rather than two separate products – and went into trying this cream with low expectations.
The ingredients list the same 5-strong hyaluronic acid complex that runs throughout the range, with additional watermelon seed oil to prevent overnight moisture loss and support the cells natural overnight regeneration process.
At first, I was put off by the super thick texture – it’s almost like a balm, but when I put it on my face it didn’t feel at all cloying or heavy.
There’s no greasy or oily residue, which is what I’d expected, and instead it felt like swiping velvet on my skin, leaving it soft and supple.
I’ve even applied a thick layer and left it on my face for a few hours, so it would act like a face mask and leave my skin hydrated – think of it as a lighter alternative to the slugging trend, suitable for even spot-prone skin like mine.
Surprisingly, it’s my favourite product from the range, and I could definitely see myself continuing to use it in future.

AldiAldi’s HA5+ Serum didn’t live up to Beauty Editor Tara Ledden’s expectations[/caption]
LacuraHA5+ Serum, £6.99
Featuring acacia – which is rich in fatty acids to help boost the skin barrier, and citric acid, which gently exfoliates dead skin cells to brighten, this serum claims to have visible lifting and tightening properties, leaving the skin plump, smooth and radiant.
Serums are usually my favourite skincare step – they’re virtually weightless, and sink in fast, so it’s a great way to get change-making active ingredients onto skin without feeling like you’re wearing loads of layers.
This is on the thicker side, which I’m normally a fan of as it makes application easier, and often means they’re more hydrating, but in this case it’s too thick to work with the pipette style packaging which makes it near impossible to get out.
The thick consistency of Aldi’s HA5+ Serum wasn’t a winner
Despite the four-inch long pipette – which you’d expect to house enough product for a couple of days’ worth of full-face application, you can only pick up a pea-sized amount, so it took me a good few minutes to get enough serum to cover my whole face, which is much more effort that I’d ideally go to twice a day.
Once on skin, it dries down fast and leaves my skin feeling quite tight, almost as if I’d applied a peel- off face mask.
The quick-drying formula may help reduce the appearance of wrinkles on more mature skin by freezing skin in place, but it left me uncomfortable.
It’s also very heavily scented, which isn’t ideal for sensitive skin.
Worst of all, as soon as I applied moisturiser on top, it piled – falling off my face in scraps like those that come off an eraser when you’re rubbing out a pencil.
AldiIf you’re not normally a fan of eye cream, Aldi HA5+ Eye Cream will change your mind[/caption]
Lacura HA5+ Eye Cream (£4.99, 15ml).
Much like night cream, I don’t tend to use eye cream on a regular basis.
Whether or not you need a dedicated cream is one of the most-contentious beauty conversations, and I tend to err on the side of low-maintenance and use my moisturiser instead.
However, this clever gel-water cream might convince me to switch sides.
When I say it’s weightless, trust that once I’d applied it, I forgot it was even there.
It sinks in almost instantly, leaving my under-eyes soft without any noticeable texture change – which is great for layering under make-up as it won’t impact how it applies or wears.
Because it’s so lightweight, it also won’t cause milia, the tiny, hard white spots that can crop up with heavier products around the eye area.
The packaging claims the cream will reduce puffiness, minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and soothe the delicate skin around the eye area with protective acacia – none of which I noticed, but the skin around my eyes definitely felt nourished.
Given the gel-like texture, I could also see myself using this all over my face in-place of moisturiser on holidays, when I’ve got to get everything into the tiny clear-plastic cabin bag.
If you’re on the fence about eye cream, this is definitely one to try!
