A HUGE Hollywood TV star shared some exciting throwback snaps from her trip to Scotland as she gushed over the “best trip of my life”.
Anna Kendrick, 39, is famous for playing Beca in Pitch Perfect and Sheryl Bradshaw in Netflix hit Woman of the Hour.
The US actress visited Scotland in June last year and was spotted at the iconic Traitors’ castle in the Highlands.
She was one of many faces to make a trip to the nineteenth-century Ardross Castle, and it sparked rumours that she would feature in the US series.
The American version of the murder mystery show, hosted by Alan Cumming, is also filmed at the stunning Scottish estate.
At the time, it was believed the group were filming a promo for The Traitors USA with Peacock.
Along with Anna Kendrick, the group included General Hospital star Chrissie Fit, model Remi Bader and TikToker Estefanía Pessoa also known as “Tefi”, to name a few.
They were all then treated to a fancy meal, with a harp player playing some music before some were seen taking part in ceilidh dancing.
And after watching the season finale of the US Traitors show, Anna decided to share some throwback snaps of her time in Scotland.
The pictures, posted on Instagram, show Anna sitting at a long table inside the castle drinking tea in front of a large window that showed off the stunning surrounding landscape.
In another she posed with the group and Alan Cummings around the famous round table.
She captioned the post: “In honor of the season finale of The Traitors, and my love of Scotland, and also backstabbing on television, I present the best, and dorkiest trip of my life.”
The snaps sent fans into a frenzy with many praising her for being “truly iconic”.
One person said: “Whiskey and haggis, living your best tartan life”
Another added: “I’m obsessed that you’re also a fan of The Traitors.”
Somone else gushed: “Omg…how is it you’re not a contestant???”
While a fourth wrote: “This is beyond amazing”.
And a fifth chimed in: “Truly iconic”.
The Traitors is to get a star-studded spin-off featuring a line-up of huge celebrity fans.
And BBC producers will want to select those who will flourish at playing the treacherous game of whodunnit, which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman.
Among the names that were rumoured to have been approached to take part in the series are Danny Dyer, Stephen Fry, Tom Daley, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, Paloma Faith, Jennifer Saunders and Ricky Gervais.
Sport stars including father and son duo Jamie and Harry Redknapp, tennis icons Judy and Andy Murray, and Vernon Kay and Tess Daly were also previously reported to have been asked.
In September last year, a TV insider told The Sun that the BBC is keen to bring a famous duo on the show.
A source said: “Although the famous couple won’t have any secrecy around the fact they are linked, it will still create huge amounts of suspicion and paranoia and really test allegiances.
The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.
Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.
How does it work?
It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.
The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.
The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.
While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).
Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition
Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.
The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.

The presenter said she was “flattered” by the offer and was a “huge fan” of the show, but turned it down due to conflicting commitments in her TV schedule.
