Flight attendant secretly recorded girls as young as 7 in plane bathrooms by taping his IPHONE to toilet seat

A TWISTED United Airlines flight attendant secretly filmed underage girls in air plane bathrooms by taping his phone to the seat.

Estes Carter Thompson III has pleaded guilty to child exploitation after being caught taping his iPhone to a toilet seat to secretly record a 14-year-old girl.

The investigation revealed that his victims, as young as seven-years-old, were duped by the attendant into thinking the toilet seat was broken as he hid his phone under maintenance stickers.

The 37-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, who faces up to 20 years behind bars, appeared in court on Thursday after the covert recordings and slew of sick child porn videos were found on his phone.

Cops found secret bathroom clips of girls ages 7, 9, 11, and 14 in his iCloud account all filmed on flights in 2023.

Investigators also unveiled a stash of AI-generated child pornography.

Shocking images show how the perverted flight attendant pretended the toilet seats were broken with warning stickers that he used to secure the phone to the underside of the seat’s lid.

One picture shows the iPhone’s torch light shining next to the camera from the bottom of the “seat broken” sticker.

Prosecutors in Boston detailed how Thompson was eventually caught out in September 2023 on a flight destined for the city.

He escorted the 14-year-old to the bathroom in First Class when the main cabin one was occupied and asked the teen if he could enter first to wash his hands.

The flight attendant then casually told her that the toilet seat was “broken”.

But she quickly noticed Thompson’s poor attempt to conceal the phone behind red maintenance stickers and took photographs before returning to her seat to show her parents.

Prosecutors said her father confronted Thompson who then proceeded to cower in the bathroom, locking himself in and restore his phone to factory settings.

His colleagues had also been informed by the parents and the captain contacted law enforcement on the ground to be ready when the flight landed at Boston’s Logan Airport.

After launching an investigation into the creep, cops found more maintenance stickers in his suitcase and unveiled the trove of pornographic videos and other secret recordings on his iCloud.

The footage included the covert clips of four other underage girls and 50 pictures of an unaccompanied nine-year-old taken while she slept in her seat.

Prosecutors told the court on Thursday: “All minor victims involved in this matter have been identified and their families have been contacted by law enforcement.”

LOCKED UP

Thompson pleaded guilty to charges of attempted sexual exploitation of children and possession of child pornography depicting a prepubescent minor.

Such offences could get up respective sentences of 30 and 20 years behind bars.

However, after securing a plea deal, it is likely he will get between 15 and 20 years in jail for his crimes, according to The Boston Globe.

Thompson’s federal public defender, Scott Lauer told the outlet: “I expect the defense will seek a 15-year sentence.”

The twisted flight attendant may also be forced to pay $250,000 in damages.

Meanwhile the families of two of the victims have filed lawsuits against the airline for failing to protect passengers from their employees.

The 14-year-old’s family has accused United Airlines of negligence after it failed to take Thompson’s phone after it was discovered – a move they say will have stopped him from deleting evidence.

The relatives of the nine-year-old victim who was recorded in January 2023 has also sued the airline.

United Airlines first tried to blame the girl for using a toilet “she knew or should have known contained a visible and illuminated recording device.”

The airline has since apologised for the response and axed the legal team that issued the comments.

Last May, the company told The New York Post: “We do not believe this child is at fault and we take the allegations involving a former team member very seriously.”

Paul Llewellyn, whose law firm Lewis & Llewellyn represented the 14-year-old girl and another victim said: “We are pleased to hear the American Airlines flight attendant who preyed on at least five young girls as they used the airplane bathroom has pled guilty for his depraved crimes.

“We commend the US Attorney’s Office for its work on the criminal case in bringing this felon to justice.”

Thompson will be sentenced on June 17.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to United Airlines for comment.

Talented Celtic kid ‘steps away’ from football aged just 20 as he makes drastic career change

PROMISING Celtic kid Bruno Davidson has retired from pro football aged just 20 to pursue another one of his passions.

The youngster was a mainstay of the Hoops B team and youth ranks, battling the likes of Real Madrid in the UEFA Youth League and going on pre-season tours.

But he’s called time on his career at such a young age – to pour his energies into being a fashion designer.

He’s launching his own clothing brand Bruno Narducci – which is inspired by his Italian grandfather Pasquale Narducci’s own clothing label.

Born in Singapore, Davidson was also capped by Scotland at Under-16 level before attracting the interest of Canada, for whom he also qualifies.

Writing on Instagram, Davidson said: “I’m excited to finally share that I’ve made the decision to step away from football to fully pursue my passion for fashion and launch my own clothing brand @brunonarducci

He revealed the decision on his Instagram account – and insisted it WASN’T a kneejerk decision.

His profile on that site now reads Bruno Narducci Davidson and he lists his profession as ‘fashion designer’.

He said: “This has been in the works for a while, but the time feels right to announce it now.

“For those who know me , this isn’t a sudden shift, my decision was made over a long period of time and was well thought out and planned. This is something I’ve been passionate about for years an now I’m ready to take that next step.

“A huge thankyou to Celtic for the memories, the friendships, the experiences and the lessons that shaped me.

On his grandfather’s legacy, he added: “His work was never just about making clothes — it was about craftsmanship, relationships, and perseverance in a new world.

“Back then, clothing wasn’t just fabric and thread, it was a symbol of identity and personal detail.”

Davidson’s contract at Celtic was due to expire this summer.

Millions missing out on £689 from HMRC – easy tax code check to see if you’re owed cash

YOU could be missing out on hundreds of pounds from the taxman – but there’s a quick way to check if you’re owed.

Millions of people are thought to be on the wrong tax code, meaning they’re not getting the right amount of money.

HMRC tax letter.
You could be on the wrong tax code

If you’re employed or paid via PAYE, or if you receive a private pension, you will be given a tax code by your employer via HMRC.

The tax code will appear on your payslip and it dictates how much income tax you pay on your earnings.

Therefore it’s crucial to check if you’re on the right one.

Research by Canada Life last year found that workers are paying £5.8billion more to HMRC than they should because they’re on the wrong tax code.

In fact, an estimated 31% of adults have been on the wrong tax code at some point – with the average overpayment worth £689.

You might be on the wrong tax code for several reasons, for example if you have started a new job and HMRC has not received your income details in time.

You might also be on the wrong code if you’ve started working for an employer after being self-employed, or you’re working more than one job at a time.

People who are on the wrong code might get put onto an emergency tax code until they contact HMRC about changing it.

It’s worth bearing in mind that although the taxman might owe you money, it’s also possible you could be underpaying and therefore would owe money back to HMRC.

Either way, it’s best to make sure you’re paying the right amount of tax as you don’t want to be potentially landed with a lump sum to pay back.

How do I check my tax code?

You can check your tax code on your online personal tax account, via payslips, or on the HMRC app.

You may have also received a “Tax Code Notice” letter from HMRC which you can check.

If you’re logging on to your personal tax account online, you’ll need your Government Gateway ID and password.

If you don’t have this you can use your National Insurance number or postcode and two of the following:

  • a valid UK passport
  • a UK photocard driving licence issued by the DVLA (or DVA in Northern Ireland)
  • a payslip from the last three months or a P60 from your employer for the last tax year
  • details of a tax credit claim if you have made one
  • details from a Self Assessment tax return (in the last two years) if you made one
  • information held on your credit record if you have one (such as loanscredit cards or mortgages).

How to report a wrong tax code

If you believe you’re on the wrong tax code, you’ll need to contact HMRC.

The quickest way to get in touch is to phone them on 0300 200 3300.

Another option is to send a letter to the following address: Pay as You Earn and Self Assessment, HM Revenue and Customs, BX9 1AS, United Kingdom.

If it turns out you’re on the wrong tax code and have been paying too much, HMRC will reimburse you.

They will also change your tax code so you pay the right amount going forward.

If you’ve been underpaying tax, you will usually have to pay the money back over 12 months.

But that’s only if you are earning enough over the personal tax allowance (£12,570) to cover the underpayment and owe less than £3,000.

HMRC might get in touch with you to tell you you’re owed a tax rebate too – they’ll do this via a P800 letter or a simple assessment letter in the post.

However, you could also get a P800 telling you that you’ve not paid enough tax and have to pay it back.

If you’re owed money, the letter will tell you if you can claim online through the Government website.

Once you’ve put in your claim, it should be sent to your bank account within five days.

Another option is to claim your refund through the HMRC app.

Your P800 letter might also tell you that will be paid your tax rebate via cheque in the post.

In this case, you should receive it within 14 days of the date on your letter.

If you’re owed tax from more than one year, you’ll get a single cheque for the entire amount.

It’s also worth knowing that there are time limits in place to reclaim any overpaid tax.

This is currently four years from the end of the tax year in which you are trying to claim – so if in doubt, contact HMRC as soon as possible.

How do I file a tax return?

TO file a self assessment tax retun, you'll need to register with HMRC first, which will then issue you with a Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR).

You must register for self assessment by October 5 if you have to file a tax return and you have not sent one before.

You can do so by visiting www.gov.uk/register-for-self-assessment.

If you’ve previously registered and already have a UTR, you don’t need to go through this step again.

Once you’ve got your UTR, you can sign in via the “Self Assessment tax return” section of HMRC’s website by visiting www.gov.uk/log-in-file-self-assessment-tax-return.

You can then file your self assessment tax return online.

The deadline for sending a return online is January 31 every year.

If you need a paper copy of the main Self Assessment tax return, call HMRC on 03000 200 3610 and request an SA100 form.

The deadline for sending a return using a paper form is October 31 every year.

You need to pay the tax you owe by midnight on January 31 each year.

HMRC accepts your payment on the date you make it, not the date it reaches its account.

File late and HMRC will issue you with a fine.
