Keith Hernandez ‘distracted’ as cameras cut away from baseball to show bikini-clad pickleball player

KEITH HERNANDEZ was “distracted” in the Mets booth after being shown a bikini-clad pickleball player.

The MLB legend and broadcaster was calling New York’s spring training match against the Astros when he lost his concentration.

The camera switched to a bikini-clad pickleball player that drew his focus[/caption]

Hernandez, 71, lost his focus on the match as the cameras cut away to a pickleball match in Florida during a break in the Mets action.

The match featured a man and a woman playing the racket sport.

The man was running without a shirt on and the woman was wearing a bikini top and compression shorts.

This seemed to distract two-time World Series champion Hernandez.

He asked: “What are they doing?”

His co-commentator Gary Cohen could be heard chuckling,

To which Hernandez then admitted: “I’m distracted.”

The moment was picked up on by fans as it was clipped and share on social media.

One fan described Hernandez as in “midseason form”.

A second wrote: “The day Keith Hernandez retires from the broadcast booth will be a National Day of Mourning.”

A third commented: “Never change Keith.”

A fourth said: “Keith is the best.”

Another added: “Keith is a national treasure.”

Meanwhile, the Mets will start the regular season on March 27.

They will begin their campaign with a three-game trip away at Houston.

Following that they will play the Marlins in Miami three times before returning to New York

Their first home match will come against the Blue Jays on April 4.

In December, former tennis pro Eugenie Bouchard was rushed to hospital while playing pickleball.

She suffered a freak eye injury during a training session which resulted in a scratched cornea.

‘This is comedy gold’ cry Vogue Williams fans after hubby Spencer Matthews ‘cracks up’ following ‘hilarious’ book prank

VOGUE Williams has left fans in stitches after she played a “mean” prank on her husband Spencer Matthews.

The Irish podcaster and her reality star hubby Spencer are renowned for poking fun at each other online – but it seems Vogue has taken it to the next level.

Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews at The Podcast Show.
Vogue Williams played a hysterical prank on Spencer Matthews

Vogue read a fake page from her brand-new book

Vogue recently announced that she is releasing an autobiography titled Big Mouth – and she’s leaving no stone unturned.

But before the highly-anticipated release, the 39-year-old decided to have some fun with her family members, who have yet to see a finished draft.

In a hilarious clip posted to her Instagram, Vogue read a fake excerpt from the book to Spencer.

Vogue prepped her husband before reading the paragraph aloud saying: “Please don’t be annoyed, it’s meant to be funny.”

Spencer sighed: “Oh god what is it?”

The Dublin model then began to read: “Spen is a great guy, but had really bad problems with body odour when we met, I thought it was just his armpits, but it was just his body in general.

“He also used to have snots all over his face and it was pretty grim but I love him regardless.”

Spencer immediately stood up in shock and voiced his fears that newspapers in the UK would write articles headlined: “Vogue Williams says Spencer Matthews stinks.”

Vogue hysterically responded: “But you did stink.”

A frustrated Spencer then highlighted: “No, but they’ll print that as current.”

Vogue gave a cheeky grin and reminded him: “Okay, but everything I write in the book is true, so.”

She then interrupted his worried state and continued to read more of the fake book segment.

The mum-of-three added: “I can’t say the stench has completely gone away, and showers aren’t his favourite thing, but he is getting better.”

VERY VOGUE

Vogue burst into a fit of laughter, while Spencer stared at her with an annoyed expression.

The irritated star said: “Of course you’re going to find this funny, but they’ll all print this as a fact. Like I shower every day.

“You can write whatever the f*** you want.”

The TV star laughed in her caption: “I never thought I’d get Spenno! He’s actually not too worried about what’s in Big Mouth… my favourite line is, ‘They’ll write that as current’, that he currently smells.”

‘I NEEDED THIS’

And fans were left “howling” in the comment section as they reacted to the funny clip.

Shaun wrote: “This is comedy gold.”

Sharon said: “Bless him, he really thought you meant it. So mean.”

Ali added: “These pranks are too funny, mean, but funny.”

Anita remarked: “I love how much he is cracking up at you.”

While Rosie commented: “I’ve had a very stressful day, I needed this, hilarious.”

Greggs customers go wild for new ‘secret’ menu item available at 281 more stores – see full list and if one’s near you

GREGGS shoppers are obsessed with a “secret” menu item being rolled out at hundreds more stores.

The fast food chain’s new mac and cheese dish has gone viral on TikTok as Greggs lovers clamour to try the new dish.

Greggs’ new Mac and Cheese has already gone viral on TikTok.
Greggs

The new pasta option was first launched in November 2024 as part of a trial in ten stores in Greater Manchester, The Sun first revealed.

Greggs say the pasta dish is mixed with layers of cheddar and red Leicester cheese, topped with breadcrumbs and parsley.

The price for the new mac and cheese is £4.55 as a single item or you can pick it up as a meal with any drink for £5.75.

It has proved such a hit, Greggs has now rolled out the menu addition at a further 281 locations across the UK.

Videos have already racked up tens of thousands of views with fans loving the new pasta dish.

“Oh wow that looks insane,” one said.

“Oh my gosh I need that mac and cheese,” a second wrote.

“Tried it a few days ago and omg it is great. Wowie,” a third poster said.

“Had this today! Absolutely beaut,” a fourth wrote.

But others questioned its £4.55 price tag.

“That is pricey for Greggs,” one said.

Another added: “That’s so expensive!”

Greggs’ mac and cheese is now available at 291 stores across the UK.

Check out the list of stores at the bottom of the page to find the dish near you.

Greggs often has “secret menu’” items that are unique to certain certain Greggs shops, rather than being available nationwide.

Typically they’r products which take you back to childhood, or remind you of a special place or sweet taste of home.

The items aren’t available on the Greggs website or main menu, they’re only available to buy in store.

For example Tottenham cake is available in London stores while in Glasgow shoppers can get Pineapple cake.

With over 2,500 Greggs stores across the UK, you still won’t find the mac and cheese dish at all stores though.

Greggs launches burgers to rival McDonald’s KFC

Mac and cheese isn’t the only new addition to the Greggs menu.

Greggs added a new chicken burger and wrap to menus in February, as part of its hot made-to-order range.

Launched on February 6, it is set to rival the likes of McDonald’s and KFC, who also sell a range of wraps and burgers.

The new BBQ crispy chicken burger costs £4, while the wrap has southern fried chicken goujons and costs £3.80.

Both items are part of the Hot Sandwich Deal, which includes any hot sandwich, wedges, or side salad and a drink for £4.95.

The cafe only recently started pivoting away from its iconic steak bakes and sausage rolls, as it grows its presence on the high street.

Back in May, its launched a new fish finger sandwich and wrap.

To compare, Maccies famous Big Flavour Wraps cost £3.49 on its own or costs £4.99 if you want to make it a meal.

KFC also sells a range of wraps and chicken burgers which are a hit with those dining out for lunch.

Its smokey BBQ twister wrap costs £6.99 on its own or £8.99 if you want to make it a meal.

Meanwhile, its fillet burger meal can cost £8.99 or £6.99 as a single item.

Elsewhere, in shops nationwide, Greggs said it would bring back its Katsu Chicken Bake.

This comes with chicken breast in a Japanese-inspired Katsu style curry sauce, wrapped in puff pastry.

For those with a sweeter tooth, the Cherry Bakewell Muffin is also back.

Tommy Bowe stirs the pot as Ireland legend hopes Garry Ringrose gets ‘big ban’ for ‘head-butting’ Wales player

TOMMY BOWE believes Garry Ringrose is the kind of guy “you’d love your daughter to come home with”.

But he insisted the Ireland centre’s red card challenge against Wales would warrant him being chucked out of the house never to return.

Ringrose was sent to the sin-bin for a head-to-head tackle on Ben Thomas in the 35th minute of the Six Nations clash on Saturday.

After a review, it was upgraded to a 20-minute red card, with the Leinster man being the first to fall foul of the new rule this season.

However, former Ireland and Ulster winger Tommy Bowe insisted that Ringrose should be in for a bigger ban for the tackle.

Speaking on the BBC, he said: “I don’t think there’s any doubt about it, it is a red card.

“It’s a high shot by Garry Ringrose.

“Normally one of the best defenders in world rugby, but he does have a habit of coming out of the line.

“That’s Robbie Henshaw‘s man, Garry comes from the outside and tries to blindside him.

“He has to get lower.

“Ben Thomas puts a bit of footwork on him, but he has to get low.

“That’s what we want to try stamp out of the game, particularly on such a big spectacle like this.

“Garry Ringrose, a wonderful defender and a great guy.

“The sort of guy you’d love your daughter to come home with.

“Then he’s just gone and head-butted a Welsh player! He’s gone – out the door. You’re not coming in to look for my daughter!”

Ringrose never returned to the field at the Principality Stadium, as he was replaced by Bundee Aki.

The Connacht centre saw out the game as Simon Easterby‘s men came from behind with 17 straight points to run out 27-18 winners for their 14th Triple Crown.

It inches them ever closer to a third Six Nations title on the bounce, while they remain on for a second Grand Slam in three years.

However, while he was relieved to see Ireland back up to 15 men for the remainder of the game, Bowe insisted Ringrose should be in for a big punishment.

He added: “Garry Ringrose is going to be penalised, and you hope he’ll get a big ban for that.

“But, at the same time, you want Ireland to get up to 15 after 55 minutes.”

Woman, 27, kidnapped, chained to bed, raped & made to drink from dog bowl in horror Fritzl-like three-month ordeal

A WOMAN has spoken of her hellish three month ordeal of being kidnapped, raped, and forced to drink from a dog bowl after a desperate early morning escape.

The unnamed 27-year-old was allegedly snatched and tortured by a sick and twisted truck driver Karel N. from Sirem in the northwest of the Czech Republic.

After fleeing the house of horrors around 3 am on February 16, the woman, who had a chain around her neck, begged neighbours for help before recounting the Fritzl-like hell she had endured.

The woman was allegedly kept in the basement of the Sirem house for over three months where she was chained up and held in filthy conditions and forced to drink from a dog bowl.

A neighbour who helped rescue the woman told the Czech newspaper Mlada fronta Dnes: “She had no hair and a thick chain with a huge lock around her neck; she was just skin and bones.

“She said he shaved her head and rarely gave her anything to eat, just sometimes a little bread and water from a bowl, like a dog.

“He stripped her naked, chained her up, beat her, raped her and did other crazy things to her.”

The woman told her neighbours how she managed to escape using the chain that had held her hostage on a bed.

“She [said she] was tied to a heavy bed,” the neighbour said.

“She managed to pull the chain out and use it to climb out of the window.”

Her abuser was not home when she managed her escape, another local said.

After approaching the neighbours, they helped remove the chain from her neck and phoned the emergency services.

Her ordeal appears to echo that of Elisabeth Fritzl who was abused by her evil father Josef for years in his cellar in Austria.

Karel N has since been arrested and reportedly knew the victim.

Locals have described the truck driver as “sociable” but local media has brought his dark past to light.
