‘There are rules’ – Fuming France boss reports two Ireland stars after Antoine Dupont suffers ‘serious knee injury’

FRANCE coach Fabien Galthie has reported Ireland duo Tadhg Beirne and Andrew Porter to the citing commissioner for the challenge that injured Antoine Dupont.

And he has done the same with Calvin Nash for his high challenge that saw him sent to the sin bin in the second half.

France beat Ireland 42-27 to put themselves in pole position to win the Six Nations title, and most of the damage was done without the best player in the world Dupont.

He suffered what looked a serious knee injury after 29 minutes when it appeared Porter fell on him by accident as he and Beirne arrived to clear-out after Dan Sheehan was tackled.

The referee took no further action, while he later sent Nash to the bin  for an upright tackle on Pierre-Louis Barassi who never returned to action.

But while a bunker review decided against upgrading Nash’s yellow to a red card, while Porter and Beirne were not penalised at all, Galthie wants further action.

He said: “For Antoine, there is suspicion of a fairly serious knee injury. I won’t go into details due to medical confidentiality, but Antoine is suffering.

“We have summoned [three Ireland] players to appear before the (Six Nations disciplinary) committee, Tadhg Beirne and Andrew Porter

“Calvin Nash has also been summoned before the committee for Pierre-Louis Barassi because he did not respond favorably to the protocol.

“Our players did not return to the pitch. We would like to understand why. On this issue, we are angry. We want to protect our players, there are means, rules.

“The citing commissioner must study the actions [and decide if they] are reprehensible or not. Neither Antoine nor Pierre-Louis returned to the pitch. One for a clean-out, the other for a [head] contact.”

Dani claims Joe started seeing Junaid before splitting from Harry

Discussing Junaid Ahmed’s controversial relationship with Joe Blackman, she tells Saffron: “There’s more to it…”

Junaid caused a huge cast divide with his romance with Joe – the ex-boyfriend of his former best pal Harry Derbidge.

Dani continues: “Joe was going round to Junaid’s and they were sleeping together from the beginning.

“Before things had actually been called off with Harry.”

Dani confesses she feels conflicted due to her shaky friendship with Junaid and the fact she’s gotten close to Harry recently.

She says: “I shouldn’t be lying to Harry’s face – he should know the truth.

“But then I can’t help but constantly have that guilty conscience because I’d be half f****** Junaid over.”

Last week fans watched as Dani and Junaid had a tense row, with it looking like their friendship was over for good.

But Saffron tells Dani: “If you feel like that then you’re not done with Junaid.”

But Dani insists: “The door is shut with me and Junaid. And that will solidify everything, once he finds out I’ve told Harry about this situation – the friendship is done.”

Saffron tells Dani that Harry needs to know and advises her to tell Junaid she’s spilled the beans.

In last week’s episode Dani confronted Junaid over accusing her of being distant towards him because of his relationship with Joe Blackman.

Junaid hit back: “I’ve never said that you have got this problem with me being with Joe… I don’t know where you have heard that from?”

But she said: “You don’t care about anyone around you Junaid, because you have got Joe. Let’s be honest.

“Because if Joe weren’t there you would have been calling me.”

Britain’s Got Talent fans hit out at show for ‘huge issue’ during audition that gets golden buzzer from Amanda

BRITAIN’S Got Talent fans have hit out at the show for a ‘huge issue’ during an audition that got the golden buzzer from Amanda.

Before his audition, eleven-year-old Oliver said on stage that he wanted to become the best guitarist in the world.

The young lad had Simon Cowell slightly surprised when he said that he admired Angus Young from AC/DC.

When he started his performance, he had the audience singing along to a medley of hits on Britain’s Got Talent.

He had the judges on their feet as he left the stage to showcase his incredible skills by the desk.

After a standing ovation, former This Morning presenter Amanda Holden was the first to speak, claiming: “A star is born,”

“I have never seen anything like that before in my life.”

The crowd in the theatre started to chant in unison as they pressured one of the judges to press the golden buzzer after they gave the young lad a standing ovation.

After a few seconds Amanda stood back up as she firmly put both hands on the giant button on the judges desk.

He looked absolutely shocked as his parents embraced as they watched in the audience.

This was whilst his grandfather celebrated with hosts, Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

It seems the audience in attendance were not in agreement with the viewers at home.

They hit out at ITV as they claimed they couldn’t actually hear the guitar being played due to the loud volume of the accompanying backing track.

One viewer raged: “Why are they not letting us hear what he’s playing for the stupid song.”

A second wrote: “What we couldn’t bloody hear what he was actually playing; it looked like he was just doing air guitar; why play over his actual sound.”

As a third asked: “Why couldn’t we hear the guitar?”

BGT's Best Golden Buzzer Moments

BGT have handed out many Golden Buzzer's over the years, can you remember some of the most famous

  • Loren Allred – Loren Allred, 32, from Brooklyn, New York jetted to London to audition after recording the vocals for The Greatest Showman. The stunning singer got a standing ovation and a Golden Buzzer from the judges as she delivered a stirring rendition of Never Enough from the popular film. Loren came out on stage and revealed to the judges they would have heard her voice many times before that moment. “I was hired to record the vocals for The Greatest Showman as a guide for the actors to know how to sing the songs,” she explained. Loren then revealed actress Rebecca Ferguson was so stunned by her singing that she decided to let her vocals be heard in the movie. “So she lip-synced,” Loren said.
  • Chicken Shed Theatre Company – Comprised of individuals aged between 5 and 37, the group was set up to welcome anyone irrespective of background to get up on stage and perform and fulfil their dream. Chicken Shed prides itself on accepting anyone and does not hold auditions to make the group a safe and inclusive space. The group wowed as they performed Wonder by Naughty Boy featuring Emeli Sande. It meant that Alesha wasted no time as she decided to hit her golden buzzer for the young performers. She told them it was her “honour” to reward their inclusiveness with her golden buzzer.
  • The Dancing Granny – Granny Paddy Jones and her professional partner Niko Espinosa first hit headlines when they won the Spanish talent show Tú sí que vales in 2009, before going on to appear on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014 where they came ninth. Amanda Holden was so impressed with Paddy that she gave her the Golden Buzzer, which sent them straight through to the semi-finals. But things took a worrying turn when Paddy cracked a rib while rehearsing a new move and her place on the show was under doubt. She was given the all-clear to perform in the end but didn’t quite live up to expectations.
  • Bars and Melody – They will forever be remembered for their anti-bullying song on the talent show. Bars and Melody were first seen on the 2014 series of Britain’s Got Talent, getting shuttled into the semi-finals when Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer. They made it to the final thanks to a performance of I’ll Be Missing You but lost out on the crown to Collabro. These days Charlie Lenehan – known as Melody – is covered in tattoos, with inkings on his neck, arms and chest. But he is as close as ever to co-star Leondre Devries – who is Bars – with the pair seen enjoying themselves in exotic locations all over the world.

And an additional viewer commented: “You can’t even hear the guitar.”

However, not all viewers were even in agreement as many claimed they were blown away by the act.

A fifth user wrote on X: “That kid with the guitar was brilliant … well deserved gold buzzer.”

While someone else gushed: “Some golden buzzers this year have been horrendous. But that 11 year old kid on the guitar deserved it. Absolutely class.”

A star is born, I have never seen anything like that before in my life.

And a seventh added: “Oh my god, that 11 year old with the guitar, phenomenal.”

As such, Oliver will go straight through to one of the highly anticipated semi-final live shows.

After Amanda hit the buzzer, Simon also couldn’t help but gush about the young act.

He remarked: “You already have your own distinct sound which others spend decades trying to do.

“You’re that good, seriously good. That was BRILLIANT. Good for you!
