MARRIED At First Sight UK’s Erica Roberts has opened up about moments from the reunion special that didn’t make it to screen.
In the special one-off episode, which aired on Monday night, Erica appeared at a dinner with a host of other brides and grooms from the E4 favourite.
During the evening, she announced to the group that she had ‘kissed and had a sleepover’ with 2024 groom Kieran Chapman when he had visited her in Edinburgh five months after the end of his relationship.
His bride Kristina Goodsell, was seen getting upset as the moment played out, with Kieran noting he “hadn’t told her yet”.
However Erica insists we don’t know the full story and that things weren’t as they seemed.
Writing on Instagram as the special aired, she wrote: “Haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet as I’m busy but just to clarify, Kristina already knew and had been told off camera what had happened which is why I brought it up at the dinner table.
“I wouldn’t have ever mentioned it or ‘blindsided’ her in front of everyone if she didn’t already know what was going to be said.
“Please remember this is a TV SHOW for your entertainment and it’s literally not that deep. All love good night xxx”
In a trailer for the new episode of her podcast You and Me, which she hosts with The Traitors star Meryl Williams, Erica later cleared things up further saying she that Kieran had pulled Kristina aside and told her off-camera while filming.
“He was avoiding, completely avoiding the situation,” Erica said. “It then got to the point where we were now in the dinner party, and we were halfway through the dinner party, and again we stopped [filming].”
“He’d probably been in that mixer from like 12 o’clock in the afternoon. How long time is it? Was now like six o’clock at night.”
“I was just getting a bit like, ‘Look, it’s going to… someone’s going to say something, or someone’s going to tell her, and it’s just not going to be right coming from someone else again, it just it needs to come from him.”
“We stopped for a quick break halfway for the dinner party, what does Kieran do? All cameras are off, he goes around to Kristina and says, ‘By the way, just to let you know, me and Erica did have a kiss. It was like two months ago, but I just want to, I just want to tell you off camera.”
“I was like, ‘Are you f**king for real? Because her reaction in that moment was, Well, why didn’t you tell me this two months ago?” she continued. “Again, he doesn’t need to tell her s**t, because they’ve been broken up for months.”
“It’s actually not that deep,” Erica added. “It’s not that deep. I’ve not ran off with her man and married him, like we literally had a one kiss. Like, it’s not that deep.
“You would never, ever, ever, ever, ever, in the real world be like, by the way, I kissed your ex husband.”

TOMATOES can be a juicy refreshing ingredient but they can be hit or miss.
But this is actually down to how you’re storing them.
When they get home from the shop, majority of people toss their tomatoes in the fridge without a second thought.
However, experts at the storage company Urban Locker revealed that you should be storing them at room temperature.
And this makes sense considering we don’t pick them up in the refrigerated section while grocery shopping.
According to professionals, storing tomatoes wrong can “make them turn soft, mushy, and flavourless too quickly”.
They also revealed that “despite increasing prices, tomatoes are one of the most commonly wasted foods in the UK”.
The experts shared that Brits end up binning an estimated 733 million tomatoes each year.
And since cold temperatures can cause the cell structure in a tomato to break down, the fruit will develop a dull flavour as well as a mushy texture.
“Always store your tomatoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, but never in the fridge,” said Elizabeth Adams a storage expert from Urban Locker.
She recommended taking them out of their packaging and putting them on a flat surface stem-side down.
“To reduce moisture you can put paper towels on this surface to absorb an excess moisture and stop them from sitting in condensation,” she explained.
For tomatoes on the vine, Elizabeth suggested removing the vine because “one bad tomato can spoil the rest”.
“If you notice that one of your tomatoes is overripening at a quicker rate than the others remove it, as tomatoes release ethylene gas which can speed up the ripening process for all of them,” she said.
“This simple hack can make a big difference and small changes like this can help reduce your food waste at home and help you to save money over time.”
As well as keeping your tomatoes out of the fridge, Urban Locker has another tip for helping them last longer, saving your money.
They recommended storing your tomatoes stem-side down to prolong freshness.
Foods must be stored correctly to keep them fresh and prevent the spread of bacteria.
Nutrition expert Birgit Brendel said bread will last longer when stored in the fridge or freezer.
However, this can compromise the flavour.
Storing in ceramic or pottery containers is an alternative that allows for air to flow easily and slow the growth of mould.
Robert Morris, managing director of food safety consultants, Complete Food Safety, revealed the best place to store fresh fruit and vegetables.
He said salad foods should be stored in the fridge drawer, but away from anything grown in the soil such as carrots, parsnips and beetroot.
Tomatoes are an exception to the rule as fridges can alter the natural ripening process and diminish their taste.
He also advised against putting avocados and bananas in the fridge as this will cause them to blacken quicker.
“This may seem like a minor detail, but if you want your tomatoes to last longer and cut down on food wastage this little hack can help,” Elizabeth explained.
“Placing tomatoes with their stem-side down helps to prevent moisture loss and slows down the ripening process.”
This storage hack works because of how a tomato grows.
The fruit has a natural weak spot where the stem attaches and this area is more porous than the rest of the skin, allowing air and bacteria to enter.
When tomatoes are stored with their stem facing upwards, moisture can leave more easily causing your tomatoes to spoil quicker and shrivel up.
By placing your tomato’s stem-side down, the tomato’s natural protective skin will remain intact, reducing airflow and preventing premature softening.
“At room temperature, this small adjustment can help your tomatoes last for several days longer,” said Elizabeth.
And if your tomatoes have gone too soft, the expert explained that you still don’t need to throw them away just yet.
Instead, she recommended finding alternative ways to incorporate them into dishes, such as in pasta sauces, soups, or salsas.
NEARLY 100 flood alerts and warnings have been put in place across the country as a month’s worth of rain will fall in just hours.
Water levels are being closely monitored as “intense rainfall” is expected to impact roads, sewer systems, properties and even cause danger to life.
Government warnings urging those in affected areas to “act now” have been actioned.
Individuals could be at risk of long-term flood risk as 14 areas have been issued with “expected” floods and another 87 as “possible”.
Residents in the south are particularly likely to be impacted as red alerts have been dotted around Dorchester across to Woking.
Those impacted should take direct advice from the Government’s website with each area being affected differently.
For instance, those near the Hoe Stream at Woking have been urged to move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety as deep, fast flowing water could “cause danger to life”.
Meanwhile, anyone near certain parts of the Upper Wylye should act with caution, avoiding low lying footpaths.
Some have been told to not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
Affected areas include those close to Norwich, Loughborough, Shrewsbury, Gloucester, Reading, Salisbury, Axminster and many more.
Incident response staff are on site in affected areas to actively check river levels and the weather forecast.
Travel disruption is also expected across the country with local flooding likely due to possible persistent rain.
The upcoming deluge of bad weather will sweep in from the west, bringing in hailstorms and blistering winds.
Those in the north will be particularly affected as a huge band of wet weather brings in a month’s worth of rain in just hours.
The rain will coincide with a drop in temperatures, soaring to highs of 16C.
London will be the warmest area of the UK mainland, enjoying temperatures of 9C.
Meanwhile, Northern Scotland will face a much colder 5C as temperatures return to their seasonal normal.
A Met Office spokesperson said: “A chilly but bright start to Tuesday in places, with showers spreading in from the west.
“Some rain may also move into the far southeast for a time.”
According to the forecaster’s map, current estimates suggest rainfall sweeping across the country from the early hours of tomorrow morning until the afternoon, with scattered showers continuing throughout.
WITH 84 flood alerts and 14 warnings in place, residents must take care to prepare for predicted rising water levels.
Flooding is expected in:
A further 87 flood alerts have also been put in place.
The Government site has suggested those wanting to protect themselves from future flooding, prepare five days in advance.
Advice also includes setting up a personal, community or group flood plan and contacting your local council for help if you have a disability.
Sarah Cook, flood duty manager at the Environment Agency, said heavy and persistent rain had brought “a risk of significant inland flooding in parts of south and mid Wales”.
She added that localised flooding was also possible in south-west England and Cumbria on Monday morning.
Anyone still unsure how to act have the option to contact Floodline via their helpline or webchat.
Residents situated in high-risk areas can also arrange flood warnings to be sent directly to their phone by text or email.
MAFS STAR Sacha Jones has today revealed what REALLY happened when Lacey Martin stormed off.
Om last night’s reunion show, the cast returned for an explosive dinner party, but Lacey was seen getting upset after a row with Nathan Campbell.
The Sun revealed in November that Nathan and Lacey had secretly split after filming for the E4 series ended.
Last night, viewers watched as Nathan admitted to the boys that Lacey told him they should continue their romance for fame and “magazine deals”.
Speaking to the camera, he said: “I was so gutted when it ended, I thought our marriage was going to last forever.”
While Lacey said: “People are going to be shocked that it was Nathan that blocked me, I just feel that he gave up.”
Despite all this, the pair appeared to start the dinner party off on a civil note, before things quickly turned sour,.
They soon found themselves embroiled in a heated argument which saw Lacey storm off.
The tension peaked when Lacey read a letter out to Nathan, but then stormed off and didn’t let him reply.
Fans were not pleases with her “talking over him” and “not allowing him to speak.
Taking to social media, one said: “She didn’t let Nathan get a word in edgeways, gave him no opportunity to say his piece.”
While another added: “Relentlessly talked over him. Read a letter no one wanted to hear.
“And then stormed off. Lacey lost all credibility.
This person tweeted: “Lacey, you are so vindictive. Just shout to get your point across, then just walk away!
“If you ever supported Nathan’s struggles, you would’ve never overwhelmed and attacked him like that.”
However, Lacey’s friend Sacha who was on the same series of Married At First Sight as them, has jumped to her defense.
Posting on Instagram she said: “Just for the record Lacey said she need to leave for her mental health.
“And we all told her to stay but she insisted on leaving.
“That’s why no one went after her.
“And I did say. ‘I’m not convincing someone to stay if it’s not healthy for them to’.
“She knows I was there for her.
“Including telling Kieran not to gang up on Lace when it’s nothing to do with him.
“I love both Nath and Lace.”
MAFS star Nathan recently told The Sun why he and Lacey split.
Shortly after their break-up was revealed, Lacey spoke to The Sun and told us that she feared Nathan was “faking” the romance the whole time, just for the cameras.
However, now Nathan has broken his silence on the break-up and revealed that he is in fact the one who has been left “brokenhearted”.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun, he said: “Things weren’t the same off the show, it was very different.
“I’d always have to go there, she wouldn’t come to see me – those kind of arguments. I’m not too sure, things were quite different after the show.
“When you’re together, you’re 100 per cent in the same place.
“But after the experiment there was a big distance there.”
Asked who’s idea it was to break-up, Nathan said: “She decided, she said let’s just be friends.”
Speaking about how he was feeling post break-up, Nathan said: “I’m scared to date again, I want to but my hearts still broken.
“I definitely do want to date again but there’s no one yet.”
Lacey also spoke to The Sun last night and she told us: “I left him [Nathan] in 2024, to me this is a new slate. I am single.
“He’s not worth it. I’m just doing my thing, I believe in the universe, if I’m meant to meet someone then I will.”
Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
JESSICA O’MAHONY shared a collection of photos from the birthday of “our littlest” to Instagram.
O’Mahony and rugby star husband Peter celebrated their son Ralph turning 4 on Monday.
They did so in style, with balloons proclaiming his age and a custom-designed birthday cake.
Based on the Disney Pixar film series ‘Cars‘, they ordered the cake through ‘Trace of Cakes’: a Cork-based company run by Tracy Desmond Bell.
Jessica praised the “incredible” cake while posting a host of pics from the special day.
She captioned the photos by saying: “Our littlest is 4
“”Happy Birthday gorgeous boy ”
In one photo that she shared to her Instagram Story, Ralph’s older brother Theo could be seen with a rather glum look on his face.
The mother-of-three quipped: “When it’s your sibling’s birthday…and not yours”.
Peter O’Mahony, 35, returned home to celebrate his son’s birthday after being away on Six Nations duty with Ireland.
The Munster man started as Simon Easterby‘s injury-ravaged team beat Wales 27-18 in Cardiff.
It puts them potentially within one win over a third Championship in a row while it also keeps their hopes of a second Grand Slam in three years alive.
They will have their work cut out for them in their next test, however, with France coming to Dublin on March 8.
Fabien Galthie’s side remain in the hunt for the Six Nations following their 73-24 demolition of Italy at the weekend.
And they will be inspired by the magnificent Antoine Dupont, who scored two tries against the Italians and was at the epicentre of all things they did well.
Speaking on Virgin Media after the game, Matt Williams sang the praises of the Toulouse scrum-half, who he described as “like nothing I’ve ever seen”.
He said: “My dad’s been dead for a long time but he told me my grandfather took him to see the great Don Bradman play.
“He was the greatest cricketing batsman of all time.
“My grandfather said to him, ‘you’ve got to see him because there is going to be no one else like him in your life.’
“Take your kids to see Dupont. he is like nothing I’ve ever seen.
“I look back on the old videos of Gareth Edwards – legendary try for the Barbarians against the All Blacks in 1973.
“I would love to sit down with [ex-Ireland and Lions lock] Willie John McBride and ask him, ‘Mr McBride, what do you think? Him, Gareth Edwards, or Dupont?’
“He does it for Toulouse, he does it for France, he does it every time he goes out on the field.”

Aqua Force pulverised rivals in a 2m1f bumper at Gowran Park in Ireland last month, giving then-trainer Miguel Gunn a first ever winner.
Mullins was straight on to snap her up afterwards, although it’s believed he wasn’t aware who he was buying the horse for at the time.
McManus was listed as the new owner during entries for the Grade 1 Champion Bumper on Tuesday.
Aqua Force was 50-1 on the day of that debut win but has been obliterated into as short as 10-1 now.
And her pedigree gives huge hope for the future, given she’s related to former ten-length Supreme Novices’ Hurdle winner Back In Front.
Speaking after he win, Gunn said at the time: “She’s a mare with a pedigree, it goes back to Back In Front.
“I’d say someone else might own her next time, that was a savage performance first time out in a bumper.
“She’s always been relentless, doesn’t know when she has enough done.”
Mullins once again looks set to dominate the Champion Bumper market and all of his big guns made the cut.
The 3-1 ante-post fav Gameofinches was included alongside former fav Copacabana, while Bambino Fever, Future Prospect, Green Splendour, Kaiser Ball and Sortudo were all given entries.
McManus has the favourite in roughly half the 28 Festival races currently.
He bought the Dan Skelton-trained The New Lion – currently 5-2 second-fav for the Turners Novices’ Hurdle – for a rumoured £1million.
