Celtic ultras the Green Brigade issue major apology to fellow Hoops fans for ‘creating incidents’
THE Green Brigade have issued an apology to fellow Celtic supporters for “regrettably impacting” their matchday experiences.
The Celtic fans’ group have released a statement on social media taking responsibility for recent incidents both at Parkhead and away games.

It’s unclear what the statement is officially referring to but they have admitted they will be more considerate towards the rest of the fanbase with their displays and actions going forward.
Several punters believe the statement is in response to their decision to unveil their ‘Show Israel The Red Card’ banner at Celtic Park for the first leg of the Champions League play-off with Bayern Munich.
Fans sitting in the section were unable to watch the action at the start of the second half after the huge banner was unfurled during the break and wasn’t taken down when the game got back underway.
Footage from Munich the following week also showed there was a violent encounter in the Celtic end during the return leg.
Celtic fans were captured fighting each other in a section of the Allianz Arena which was decked out in Green Brigade flags and banners.
The latest statement from the fans’ group read: “In recent weeks, we have created incidents at matches that have regrettably impacted the experience of other supporters.
“These incidents have then been made worse by our poor handling of the situations.
“We would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all fans impacted by our conduct. We acknowledge that our support style isn’t to everyone’s preference.
“Going forward, we will be more mindful of this and be more respectful to other supporters.”

Tommy Fury fined for speeding in £180,000 Mercedes days after Molly-Mae split

BOXER Tommy Fury was caught speeding in his £180,000 Mercedes days after he split with Molly-Mae Hague, The Sun can reveal.
Fury, 25, was caught by a speed camera doing 41mph in a 30mph zone on the A50 near his Cheshire home last August.

He was charged with speeding and the allegation was found proven by Warrington magistrates.
The ex-Love Island star was not required to attend the short hearing held by a single magistrate under the Single Justice Procedure on February 13.
He was ordered to pay a £220 fine, £88 in surcharges and £90 in prosecution costs, totalling £398.
The sum must be paid in full by March 13.
Fury, the younger half-brother of ex-world champion Tyson, also had three points added to his previously clean licence.
Ten days before he was caught, Molly-Mae, 25, confirmed their five-year relationship was over.
They had been engaged for more than a year after Tommy popped the question during a romantic holiday in Ibiza in July 2023.
It was later claimed Fury had cheated on her, which he has denied.
Fury, who shares two-year-old daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae, insisted: “We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be any more.”
We exclusively revealed that the pair shared a New Year’s Day kiss – fuelling talk they may be secretly back together.
Tommy’s representative was asked to comment.

They added: “We ask for the ongoing investigation by the police to be respected and that you keep Natalie and our family in your thoughts and prayers.”
