Click and collect lets shoppers order clothes from the budget fashion brand online and then pick them up in-store.

It first launched as part of a trial in November 2022 and has proved popular amongst shoppers.

Lovers of the brand will be able to shop a range of lines including women’s, men’s, kids clothing and homeware.

Today, Click and Collect will go live in a further 18 stores, meaning 131 Primark stores will currently offer the service.

The brand ramped up its roll out of the offering late last year and it is expected that all stores will have the feature by this summer.

You can check out the full list of stores getting the service today below:

Kari Rodgers, UK retail director at Primark, said: “We know that our customers love the convenience that Click & Collect offers, as well as the opportunity to access ranges otherwise only found in larger stores.

“With the roll out now due to complete in time for summer we hope this will help make summer holiday shopping that little bit easier.”

There is no fee to use Click and Collect, but you must spend a minimum of £10.

It means customers can avoid the disappointment of arriving in stores and not being able to find the correct size or product they were looking for.

You can also skip the queues and choose the day you would like to collect your item.

Unlike traditional online shopping, you must come into a Primark store to pick up your items as they will not be delivered to your home.

Primark's history

PRIMARK first opened in 1969 as Pennies in Dublin, hoping to provide affordable fashion in Ireland.

A Primark store officially opened as Primark in 1974 in Derby.

The retailer now has 193 stores across the UK and 441 stores worldwide with a goal of running 530 stores by the end of 2026.

Why rarely-seen Eminem-mad Duchess quit royal life to become a teacher – after abortion tragedy & unorthodox wedding

SHE was the first “commoner” to marry into the royal family for over a century – long before the likes of Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.

And now 92-year-old Katharine, Duchess of Kent – who describes herself as “just a Yorkshire lass” – is one of the oldest members of the firm.

For over half a century, glamorous Katharine has supported her husband, Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, who is the last surviving cousin of the late Queen.

However, there is more to the rarely-seen royal than meets the eye, with an unorthodox royal wedding and a Wimbledon scandal under her belt.

Despite all the glitz and glam of her palace connections, Katharine made the shock decision to lead a double life with a second identity from the age of 61 in 1996.

Renouncing her title, she became a music teacher at Wansbeck Primary in Hull for 13 years and enjoyed complete anonymity teaching kids from less privileged backgrounds.

She told the Guardian in 2014: “I was just known as Mrs Kent.

“Only the head knew who I was.

“The parents didn’t know and the pupils didn’t know. No one ever noticed. There was no publicity about it at all – it just seemed to work.”

And she even had the blessing of the Queen to pursue the worthwhile career, which she did until 2002.

Katharine explained: “There was nothing that I felt I wanted to hide away from.

“It was just something that happened in my life. I was always – I wouldn’t say proud of it, but I was glad I did it.

“I was supported through it as well. The Queen said: ‘Yes, go and do it,’ so I did.”

Despite growing up playing the piano, organ and violin, her taste in music is rather varied for a royal family member.

Speaking to the Sunday Telegraph, she revealed she is a fan of rappers Eminem and Ice Cube, and added: “If you see someone on the M40 looking particularly dotty it’s me trying to rap in the car going home.”

But Katharine’s secret double life isn’t the first time she has not done things by the book.

She first met Prince Edward in the 1950s at an army base, and they announced their engagement in March 1961 and married that June.

However, the bride-to-be broke from tradition when choosing their wedding venue.

Shunning the usual options – Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and St George’s Chapel – she opted for something close to her home.

The couple tied the knot in Yorkshire, her home county, at the York Minster, which hadn’t been used for royal weddings for 600 years.

Prince Michael of Kent was the best man while Princess Anne was one of the bridesmaids.

The couple went on to have three children – George Windsor, Earl of St Andrews, born June 26, 1962; Lady Helen Taylor, born April 28, 1964; and Lord Nicholas Windsor, born July 25, 1970.

She also has ten grandchildren, including model Lady Amelia Windsor, who has been dubbed “Britain’s most beautiful royal”.

Abortion woes

After losing two pregnancies, in 1975, the Duchess had an abortion because of German measles and gave birth to a stillborn son, Patrick, in 1977.

The incident had a “devastating effect” on Katharine, she revealed to the Daily Telegraph in 1997.

She explained: “I had no idea how devastating such a thing could be to any woman.

“It has made me extremely understanding of others who suffer a stillbirth.”

She had further health issues in 1978, when, after 20 years of public service, she was hospitalised due to “nervous strain.”

The BBC claimed she suffered from coeliac disease, Epstein-Barr virus, and had symptoms of chronic fatigue.

Religious conversion

Katharine, pictured with Edward and their son George in 1967, was the first member of the royal family to convert publicly to Catholicism since the passing of the Act of Settlement 1701[/caption]

The Duchess of Kent converted to Catholicism in 1994 – a move which would previously have led to swift exile for centuries of English royal history.

Thankfully, she received the approval of the late Queen and has said it was a personal decision.

At the time, the Act Of Settlement 1701 stated that a royal who married a Catholic would have their right to the throne dissolved.

However, this didn’t apply to Prince Edward as Katharine was an Anglican at the time of marriage, and then converted.

Explaining her decision, she told the BBC: “I do love guidelines and the Catholic Church offers you guidelines.

“I have always wanted that in my life. I like to know what’s expected of me.

“I like being told: You shall go to church on Sunday and if you don’t you’re in for it!”

Wimbledon scandal

In 1999, Katharine found herself in the middle of controversy at the Wimbledon championships.

The Duchess of Kent had tried to secure a seat in the royal box for the 12-year-old son of a bereaved friend.

However, this was denied as non-royal children are strictly forbidden from the area.

Katharine threatened to boycott the box all-together, following a “curt letter” from the All England Chairman.

While she may keep a low profile, the glamorous royal lives at one of the most elite addresses in London, Kensington Palace.

However, they are not the only members of the Royal Family living in the palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent also call the residence their home.

Formerly, Prince William and Princess Kate, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle also lived at the palace.

The 'posh apartment block' at Kensington Palace that's home to numerous royals

KENSINGTON Palace is one of the most grand buildings in London - but it’s also home to a number of royal family members and numerous staff.

According to royal expert Jennie Bond, residing at Kensington Palace is like “living in an extremely posh apartment block” – so it’s not surprising that a number of royals call it home.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent live at Wren House.

They have called the five-bedroom home – which is a cottage-style property with a white picket fence – since they tied the knot in 1961.

It was previously used as staff accommodation, and was named after Sir Christopher Wren.

Famously the Prince and Princess of Wales used Kensington Palace’s 20-room Apartment 1A as a home for a number of years.

Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank also spend time at Kensington Palace.

The royal couple moved into Nottingham Cottage, the former home of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, in 2022, after previously living in Ivy Cottage on the grounds.

Currently the family split their time between London and Portugal, where they reside at the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club as Jack is doing marketing, sales and promotion for a property development out there.

The late Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Gloucester, and his wife Birgitte van Deurs currently live in Kensington Palace’s Old Stables.

More royal residents at Kensington Palace include Prince Michael and wife Marie Christine von Reibnitz.

Heartbreak as ‘superstar’ fan-favourite Cheltenham horse is set to miss first Festival in six years

GUTTED trainer Alan King has revealed his ‘superstar’ fan-favourite Cheltenham horse is set to miss a first Festival in six years.

Former Arkle winner Edwardstone has picked up a nasty infection and was rushed to the vet last Friday.

Unfortunately, though, it means all future running plans for the 11-year-old are on hold.

And punters will be robbed of the chance to see the star two-mile chaser – who is as short as 14-1 for the Grand Annual – at next month’s meeting.

Edwardstone’s setback means he will miss his first Cheltenham Festival since 2020, when he finished sixth to Shishkin in the Supreme.

Edwardstone was a five-length third in the County Hurdle the following year and won the 2022 Arkle under Tom Cannon.

It hasn’t been smooth sailing since then though, habitually getting outclassed by Jonbon in the top 2m chases – he has been beaten by him six times.

And on his past two trips to the Festival he was hammered 64 lengths by Energumene in the 2023 Champion Chase before falling in last year’s renewal.

King said in his Racing Post column: “My team for Cheltenham looks like being reduced by one as Edwardstone is doubtful for the Festival, where he held two entries in the Champion Chase and Grand Annual.

“He developed an infection in his near-hind leg and we couldn’t get on top of it with antibiotics so we took him to the vet for further treatment.

“The good news is he seems to be improving… but we’re not even thinking about future running plans at this stage.

“It would be a shame to go to Cheltenham without a horse who has run there in the last five seasons and gave us a tremendous day when winning the Arkle in impressive fashion in 2022.”

Popular European tourist attraction with ties to UK to close for two years

A MAJOR attraction in France is set to close later this year and won’t reopen until 2027.

The Bayeux Tapestry Museum in Normandy houses the Bayeux Tapestry – a piece of artwork depicting the Norman Conquest.

The museum will be undergoing a multi-million-pound revamp, which will see its exhibition space double in size[/caption]

As many as 400,000 tourists visit it a year, and it is a landmark attraction in the town, along with the Museum of the Battle of Normandy.

The huge 70m-long cloth tells the story of William the Conqueror’s 1066 invasion of England,

However, a two-year renovation is to start in September, meaning these are the last few months tourists will be able to see it in a while.

The huge renovation project is estimated to cost €38million (£31million).

Under the plans, the building will be extended, doubling its exhibition space and providing more room to display the huge 70m-long cloth.

At the same time, the Bayeux Tapestry will be dusted down and placed into a conservation crate.

The Bayeux Tapestry Museum will close to visitors on September 1 and won’t reopen until 2027.

It is hoped that the museum will reopen to coincide with William the Conqueror’s 1000th birthday.

While no set opening date has been confirmed, the museum’s website states October 2027 for the reopening.

Once the museum reopens, the famous piece of historical art will be displayed in an airtight room to protect it from light and pollution.

Patrick Gomon, the Mayor of Bayeux, said: “In terms of economic and cultural influence, this is the most complex and ambitious project… ever undertaken by the Town of Bayeux.”

The Bayeux Tapestry tells the story of William the Conqueror’s 1066 invasion of England

One of the most famous scenes on the tapestry is of Harold (the last Anglo-Saxon king of England) being killed by an arrow at the Battle of Hastings.

Entry tickets to the Bayeux Tapestry Museum cost €12 (£9.96) and cannot be purchased in advance online.

The Bayeux Tapestry Museum isn’t the only French tourist attraction closing to visitors later this year.

Earlier this year, the Centre Pompidou in Paris announced it would be closing in the autumn to undergo a five-year-long renovation.

The Centre Pompidou is the largest modern art museum in Europe, with its renovation slated to cost a staggering €358million (£297million).

Also undergoing a huge renovation is The Louvre, with a €900million (£748million) revamp taking place until 2031.

When it reopens, new rules means Brits will pay more as non-EU citizens.

Everything you need to know about visiting France

  • Brits need to have a passport with at least three months left on it.
  • No visas are needed for anyone staying up to 90 days within an 180-day period but you need to make sure your passport is stamped on entry and exit.
  • You may also need to show proof of accommodation and funds, around €120 a day.
  • The country uses the euro with around €10 working out to £8.55.
  • France is one hour ahead of the UK
  • Direct flights to France from the UK take between 1-4 hours depending on the destination
  • Or you can travel by train with Eurostar, with destinations including Paris or Lille.

In the mean time, you can visit the Notre Dame, which reopened in December after a five years following the devastating fire.

The Traitors star shocked as he runs into Hollywood A-lister in the gym – and it’s HIM who asks for a pic

THE TRAITORS star Tyler Smith was left shocked after running into Stephen Graham at the gym.

Tyler, 29, flashed a grin while towering over 5ft4 Stephen, 51, during his latest workout – revealing it was the Hollywood A-lister who’d asked him for the picture.

Taking to Instagram, the barber wrote: “When @stephengraham1973 says ‘aay aren’t you that bloke off the tele, can I have a photo?”‘ what a bloke.”

He also plugged Stephen’s new Disney+ show, adding: “Can’t wait to watch A Thousand Blows! @matriarchproductionsuk.”

In the comments section, fans noted their height difference, with one asking: “Are you really tall or is he really short?”

Someone else joked: “Exactly what I was just thinking.”

Tyler was axed from the BBC show’s latest series after his pals began to suddenly turn on him.

He had formed a close knit with many of the show’s players but amid a series of twists and turns, many of them, except for Livi, opted to go against him in order to save their own skin.

Show hunk Freddie Fraser was one of the first, along with series returnee Fozia, to bring up the notion that Tyler could be leading a clique.

They argued that Leanne, Livi, Leon and Tyler were a clique who were all working together to survive in the game.

Ahead of the banishment, Livi raged at the suggestions as she refused to have a bad word said about Tyler.

Freddie then had a sit-down with Leanne and Leon who aired his thoughts on Tyler being a potential Traitor.

The 20-year-old student managed to convince Leanne and Leon of his way of thinking after Leanne confessed she did not think he was a Traitor as a result of his raw and genuine emotion.

As it came to the roundtable, Tyler was left stunned at two of his pals backstabbing him as Leanne and Leon opted to throw his name in the ring.

He fought tears as a slew of the show’s players suggested why he should be axed from the game.

Livi admitted she would be “broken” if Tyler had betrayed her as she praised his kindness and his smile as she begged the group to reconsider their thoughts.

As the votes for him rolled in, she could be heard saying: “I don’t know what the hell has happened tonight?”

Having been axed, he took his position and addressed his fellow players for the final time.

Tyler remarked: “I love all of you and it is just a game. I am… faithful.”

After Tyler walked out of the castle for good, Livi could not hold back her emotions amid her secret closeness to Tyler.

She sobbed around the roundtable when the verdict was delivered.

Overcome, she stormed out of the room and said: “I’ve got to get out of here for a second.”

Livi and Tyler had grown closer after participating in the day’s funfair mission together.

She also staunchly defended him during a castle row regarding the clique.
