‘Ban WiFi at Old Trafford’ say fans after Man Utd supporter spotted watching Mark Goldbridge inside stadium

Goldbridge, whose real name is Brent Di Cesare, is a YouTube star that has built a community of followers that tune into his live watchalong videos to see his thoughts and feelings on Man Utd’s performances.

And the 45-year-old has cut a controversial figure over the years with his overreactions to both positive and negative moments in United’s rollercoaster journey back to the top.

But although most fans who watch his videos are doing so from the comfort of their own home, one United supporter was filmed taking in the watchalong while inside Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The clip spread like wildfire on social media with many Man Utd fans shocked to see that someone would be watching the video inside the stadium.

One fan wrote: “Imagine paying for a ticket to watch your team live just to pull up a Mark Goldbridge video at half-time”,

While another added: “Guys watching Mark Goldbridge’s channel inside the stadium now??? These are the problems.”

And a third even went as far as to say: “Ban WiFi inside Old Trafford”.

Other fans were quick to defend the supporter, likening the incident to a match-goer tuning into radio commentary of the game at the half-time break.

Man Utd ratings vs Ipswich as Maguire saves the day after Onana makes case to be WORST ever signing

MANCHESTER UNITED eased their fears of the drop in a topsy-turvy relegation six-pointer with Ipswich.

The Red Devils triumphed 3-2 despite playing the second half with ten men.

A major cock-up from Patrick Dorgu and Andre Onana saw Ipswich take a third-minute lead through Jaden Philogene.

Then, after United had recovered to lead 2-1, Dorgu saw a straight red card for a poor challenge on Omari Hutchinson.

Philogene scored again to level it before the break only for Harry Maguire to nod in to be United’s saviour.

But who was United’s best player on the night?

Here, SunSport’s Phil Thomas reveals his Manchester United player ratings…

One wrote: “What’s the issue? He’s listening to a United fan’s opinion on the game so far at half-time?”

And a second defiantly added: “Listening to a half-time review of the game he’s at is shocking to you?”

There was certainly plenty to discuss during the game with United narrowly squeezing past relegation battlers Ipswich with ten men.

Ruben Amorim‘s side were 1-0 down to the Tractor Boys within four minuted after Patrick Dorgu and Andre Onana gifted Jaden Philogene an open goal with a mix up at the back.

And despite an own goal from Sam Morsy and a Matthijs de Ligt finish both following soon after, Dorgu put his team in trouble once again by receiving a straight red card for a dangerous tackle on Omari Hutchinson.

The dismissal was then compounded by a second Philogene goal only four minutes later.

However, being reduced to ten men and conceding an equaliser didn’t stop United from putting up a fight.

Harry Maguire headed home a third for Amorim’s side in the opening stages of the second half, giving United a lead to hold on to for the second spell.

Despite picking up a vital three points, there was still plenty of drama for Man Utd fans throughout the game.

Not least Alejandro Garnacho’s decision to head straight down the tunnel when he was substituted off for Noussair Mazraoui in reaction to the red card.

Amorim has since claimed he will have a talk with the Argentine winger about his actions.

He said: “It was cold and wet, maybe. The thinking was we’d play more in the 5-3-1.

“I know that is a risk because you are taking maybe the only player who has one against one pace but I felt the team was OK in the controlling of the game, almost at half-time.

“Then you make the substitution. We have to choose someone to go out, we have to think about set pieces also, so it was my choice.”

Adding: “What I’m saying is I’m going to talk obviously with Garnacho about that, so I will talk about that if you want in the next press conference.”
