Shocking moment Scots football coach HEADBUTTS his own boss in heated bust-up during warm-up

Moment football coach headbutts rival, , , Vid is widely doing the rounds publicly on social & whatsapp. lifted it without crediting, ,
Sources say the head coach was seen with ‘blood pouring’ from his nose following the attack

The horror unfolded after tempers flared between the management team of Ardeer Thistle during their pre-match warm up against Thorn Athletic in Johnstone, Renfrewshire.

In the video the assistant coach, wearing a hat, and the head coach with the bald head and dark tracksuit, can be seen in a tense exchange.

The head coach then walks away before his assistant follows him and the men square up to each other.

The head coach then steps away and again the coach in the hat follows him before their heated words boil over and he headbutts him in the face.

One Ardeer player wearing a yellow training bib can be seen blocking the assistant coach while other players move in to calm the situation.

The 10 second clip is believed to have been captured by the Thorn Athletic camera used for post-match analysis.

It’s understood the coach who attacked the other has apologised over his actions and has since resigned from his role at the club.

The footage was captured on a camera used by Thorn Athletic for match analysis.

Despite the distressing incident Ayrshire-based Ardeer Thistle went on to clinch a 3-0 victory in the game.

A source told the Daily Record: “It happened really early in the warm-up, so there weren’t many fans in the ground.

“Nobody other than the players really saw it. Thorn staff noticed one of the coaches coming off the park with blood coming from his nose.

“We were told he’d been hit by a ball so didn’t think anything of it. Everyone was shocked when the footage emerged.

“The incident certainly didn’t put any of the Ardeer players off. They were right up for the game and it was an impressive away win.”

Another source added: “The incident is believed to have happened over a disagreement about the pre-match warm-up.

“It got out of hand and resulted in what appeared in the video.

“There was nothing else to it, no before or afters. Emotions were running high and it got out of hand but it was over in a flash.

“They know it shouldn’t have happened but they’re passionate guys and care about the game.”

A third source confirmed the attacking coach had resigned saying: “He is really sorry he lost his cool and that what happened, happened.

“He has apologised to the other coach and club and has resigned over it.”

Ardeer Thistle declined to comment when approached by The Scottish Sun.

The West of Scotland Football League have been contacted for comment.

Google tool lets you remove worrying search results including your phone number and address even quicker – try it now

GOOGLE has made some big changes to a web removal tool that allows you to take down information about you appearing in search results.

Results About You has been around since 2022 but the tech giant is making the process easier from today.

Illustration of a smartphone screen showing Google's "Results about you" tool, allowing users to control their online information.

Changes to Results About You make it even easier[/caption]

Google
Google accepts requests for issues such as your personal info on show[/caption]

The feature doesn’t have the power to delete internet pages with details about you.

But it does dramatically reduce their visibility, blocking them from showing up in Google‘s search results.

This can make it harder for people to find things like your phone number or address, as well as any embarrassing old web pages you may not want people to see.

The firm says its new hub makes signing up “easier than ever” and has “proactive monitoring” to alert you of any new results about you that may pop up.

And if you spot a result you don’t like, it’s now easier to flag it to Google yourself.

“When you click on the three dots next to a result, you’ll see an updated menu that helps you understand what content is eligible for removal, and lets you submit a removal request in fewer clicks,” the tech giant said in a blog post.

“In some cases, you might want an outdated search result updated — like if you’ve had content about yourself removed or edited from a webpage, but Search has yet to reflect the latest changes in results.

“Now, simply click on the three dots, request a refresh and our systems will recrawl the page and obtain the latest information.”

However, Google still has ultimate say whether a removal you have requested should be actioned or not.

There are various reasons Google accepts result take down requests for.

This includes pages that show your personal contact information.

But also if there is a legal reason such as copyright infringement of your work.

Users can also ask for outdated results that “doesn’t reflect what’s currently on the webpage”.

How to use Results About You

You need to opt-in to benefit from Results About You.

You can access the Results About You hub by visiting this link: myactivity.google.com/results-about-you.

It’s now easier to flag things you spot and want removed about you that appear on Google results too.

Just click on the three dots next to the result.

A menu will appear explaining what to do to request a removal.

A Place In The Sun’s Laura Hamilton reveals her top four airport hacks that can save you hundreds

A PLACE in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton has been a frequent flyer for almost 30 years.

Over the years, Laura has picked up very handy tips that everyone can use for their next holiday, from packing light, the key to hiring a car, and whether airport lounge access is worth it.

Laura always travels light whether she’s on a family holiday or work trip[/caption]

The first thing Laura, 42, insists that everyone should do more of, is pack light whether you’re going on a family holiday or a business trip.

Filming A Place in the Sun means weeks away from home in sunny Europe, but Laura says despite the multiple outfit changes, she only ever takes hand luggage.

She told Sun Travel: “I always take hand luggage and I don’t put bags in the hold, that’s what I’ve always done – I can’t even remember the last time I checked in a bag.

“Then I buy any big liquids that I need at the other side once I’ve been through security.”

She continued: “I’ve done that for a very long time, even when I travel with the kids we all take hand luggage suitcases.

“It saves so much time and means we don’t spend the first few hours of our holiday in an airport. We are straight on and off the plane with hand luggage.”

Another tip is for anyone who likes the freedom of exploration and hires their own car on holiday.

Laura explained: “If you’re going to hire a car abroad, and through a rental package, don’t take out the insurance online.

“Often, you’ll find that when you land, they try and sell you more insurance and the costs rack up.

“So you’re better off not ticking that box to take out the extra insurance, and sort it out when you land to avoid any extra charges.”

For frequent flyers like Laura, consider joining a loyalty scheme[/caption]

For any regular flyers, like Laura, she encourages joining up to a frequent flyer loyalty scheme.

She said: “The EasyJet Plus card is one of the biggest and best things that I’ve ever spent money on.

“If you fly regularly, having an EasyJet Plus card means that you will save money on pre-booking your seat and taking your hand baggage, cabin baggage.

“And when you’re on board a flight, you get a ten per cent discount.”

EasyJet Plus costs £249 per year, so it isn’t cheap but the benefits will speak for themselves for frequent flyers.

The more you fly, the more you save – for example anyone taking six EasyJet flights a year can save up to £357.

The benefits include fast track security, speedy boarding, a large cabin bag included in the price, and a premium seat.

You can save ten per cent on all food, drink and anything else you buy on the plane.

Laura believes in starting off your holiday with a trip to the airport lounge[/caption]

Flyers can also travel back earlier on the same day as their booked flight at no extra charge.

Laura also believes the use of an airport lounge is crucial to saving costs before you even board the plane for your holiday.

She added: “If you want to get access to airport lounges and have a credit card, like American Express, you can get in.

“And its worth it when you think of how much money you could spend in a restaurant before you even board.

“So if you’ve got access to the airport lounges, do it, and you can often take in one guest for free.”

Lots of credit cards are widely accepted in airport lounges, including American Express Platinum Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve, and Capital One Venture X. You’ll just need your card, along with a same-day boarding pass and a valid ID.

For anyone without a credit card that grants lounge access, have a look online before you get to the airport as some cost just £20.

With complimentary food and drinks, unlimited Wi-Fi and away from the terminal crowds, they can potentially save you money and will be a peaceful start to your holiday.

Travel presenter Laura is also embarking on a new project of her own. She’s collating all of her travel stories and tips on her podcast ‘Mile Fly Club’ which is set to return for a second series.

Here's Laura's number one tip on how to settle babies on flights

Laura has a handy tip on how to settle restless babies on a flight...

Laura told Sun Travel: “One of the best tips that someone told me to use for travelling with a baby is to try and get them to equalise their ears.

“So for a baby, obviously make sure your finger is clean, but let them suck your finger or a dummy. Sucking on it is no different to adults sucking a sweet. It helps them equalise their ears when you’re taking off and landing.”

Her other tips include getting a Doona car seat that transforms into a pushchair and the Zinc Flyte Scooters for when children get a bit older and they can carry some of their own luggage.

Interviewing celebrity guests like Bradley WalshAndrea McLean and Jeff Brazier, Laura will talk about their lives through travel, from their favourite destinations all the way to conspiracy theories.

Brand new episodes of A Place in the Sun broadcast weekdays at 6pm on Channel 4.

What is Andrew Tate’s net worth?

ANDREW Tate and his brother Tristan reportedly fled Romania on a private jet on February 26, 2025 — just weeks after their house arrest was lifted.

The toxic influencer famously claimed to be the world’s “trillionaire” before being exposed for exaggerating his wealth. Here we take a look at his actual net worth.

What is Andrew Tate’s net worth?

If there was any truth in behind them, Andrew Tate‘s boasts about being a “trillionaire” would have meant he was the richest person on the planet.

In June 2023, The Sun reported that Romanian cops believe he had a net worth of around £10million — there are no more recent credible reports of his fortune.

Police listed the disgraced influencer’s luxurious assets as they announced Tate and his brother Tristan had been charged as part of an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.

In January 2023, prosecutors said they had seized 15 luxury vehicles and more than 10 properties and homes belonging to the suspects to prevent the assets from being sold or hidden.

Fourteen watches, two ingots and cash were also confiscated, with authorities saying at the time the seized property was worth €3.6m (£3.12m).

It was reported the money could be used for compensation for his victims if the allegations against him were ever proven.

How did Andrew Tate make his money?

Tate was born in the US but came to live in Britain at just four years old.

He started his career as a kickboxer in Luton and won multiple world titles.

According to his website, he has worked as a commentator for Real Xtreme Fighting, the largest MMA promotion in Romania.

Previously, it was presumed that Tate had made most of his wealth from his main business venture, Hustler University.

He also claims to have made more money investing in cryptocurrency and opening a chain of casinos with his brother Tristan.

Prior to being charged in June 2023, the disgraced influencer would often share pictures of flash cars, expensive properties, cigars and private jets on his Instagram.

This appears, however, to have all been crafted to appeal to his followers and promote his brand and Tate’s lawyers have even claimed he plays a “character” online for the purposes of entertainment.

Past social media pictures showed off Andrew and his brother’s car collection, which included a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin, a Ferrari, and a Rolls Royce.

In a podcast interview just before his arrest, Tate denied owning any of his cars, saying: “I don’t own anything. There are cars [that I may have access to].”

What were Andrew Tate’s main streams of income?

It is thought that Tate’s main income came from a webcamming business he ran from his compound in Romania, alongside.

He also runs subscription service Hustler’s University, which is said to teach customers how to make money, as well as “The War Room”, which is a private members club where payment to join is paid through cryptocurrency.

The BBC released its investigation into the “War Room” network in September 2023.

The publication reported that an associate of Tate’s called Miles Sonkin had allegedly been using the site to encourage members to groom young women into becoming sex workers.

Why was Andrew Tate in prison?

On December 29, 2022, he was arrested in Romania along with Tristan on suspicion of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group.

The following day, a Romanian court ruled that Andrew would remain in custody for 30 days.

That was extended for another 30 days – until the end of February – and another 30 after that.

Tate’s appeal against a judge’s decision to keep him locked up until March 29 was rejected.

However, he was released from Jail and placed under house arrest on March 31, 2023.

Tate won an appeal to be released from house arrest in Romania in August 2023.

On November 20, 2023, he said: “I have been constrained this entire year.”

Tate went on: “I spent 93 days in a Romanian dungeon, five months locked in my house, and now I am restrained within the country of Romania, so it has certainly been a turbulent time”.

He was rearrested a year later in August 2024, which led to him again being placed under house arrest.

Tate remained under house arrest until January 2025, when restrictions against him were relaxed and he reportedly fled Romaina with his brother Tristan.

Where is Andrew Tate now?

On February 26, 2025, Andrew and Tristan Tate reportedly departed from  the Baneasa airport, Bucharest, on a private jet at around 5am local time (3am GMT), heading in the direction of the US.

They were travelling to Florida, sources close to the siblings told The Sun.

The news comes following the Trump administration lobbying the Romanian government to ease travel constraints on the brothers despite investigations continuing, as reported by the Financial Times.

It was understood that the Tates, who have dual UK-US nationality, had been banned from leaving Romania — but this appears to have been lifted.

A picture circulated on social media and in Romanian news shows Tristan waving while boarding a jet, but it remains unclear if the picture is new.

Barcelona legend Gerard Pique proposes bizarre law change that would result in both teams getting ZERO points

BARCELONA legend Gerard Pique has proposed a new rule change that he believes would make football more exciting.

The 38-year-old previously suggested that the game needs a revamp in order to keep audiences entertained and engaged.

Gerard Pique has suggested that teams should not receive any points for a goal-less draw[/caption]

And one thing he believes should be cut out completely is goal-less draws.

Pique has suggested that neither team should get a point if they fail to score during a match.

Speaking to former Spain team-mate Iker Casillas on the goalkeeper’s new podcast, he said: “It can’t be that you go to a football stadium, spend €100, €200 or €300 and the match ends 0-0.

“Something needs to change. One proposal to consider would be that if the match ends 0-0, the teams would score zero points.

“The match would open in the 70th minute.”

Pique previously recommended that draws should be scrapped from the game entirely.

He said: “Maybe there are no draws, why not? In baseball and basketball there are no draws. You go to a game and it ends with a draw and the feeling is, ‘Who won?’

“Football is afraid of change. It has a huge history, it is very traditional, but change will happen, it has to happen.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

“A 90-minute game that can finish 0-0 is difficult to understand for the new generation.”

In order to make football more entertaining and engaging for younger audiences, Pique created a new format called the Kings League.

It’s a seven-a-side format with 40-minute games – none of which end in a draw.

Instead, if the score is level at full-time the winner is decided with a penalty shootout whereby each taker goes one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

The rules are completely different to the traditional football format, with cards drawn at the start of each match.

Each team picks a card which could include double goal, sanction, penalty or star player to name a few.

The cards can be activated between half-time and the 38th minute.

While club legends including Philipp Lahm were also in the building.

In addition to Lahm, an ex-Bayern centre-half attended the event.

The popular Ghanaian, now 48, played 277 times across a 12-year span with the Bundesliga giants.

Following Bayern’s late collapse to Sir Alex Ferguson’s Treble-chasing Manchester United, Samuel Kuffour was devastated.

In now iconic images, Kuffour could be seen falling to the ground in floods of tears following Bayern’s late defeat.

The Germans had led 1-0 for almost the entire match, courtesy of Mario Basler’s sixth minute goal.

But stoppage time strikes by Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turned the game around.

With anguish etched across his face, Kuffour had to be picked up by referee Pierluigi Collina.

Last night, he thankfully appeared to be in much better spirits.

Appearing at the event, he beamed while wearing a sharp suit and glasses.

Having tended to have very short dark hair as a player, Kuffour now sports a white hair and beard combo.

Since hanging up his boots, Kuffour has worked as a pundit for South African channel SuperSports.

He has also been involved in the Ghana national team at an executive level.
