New CCTV shows last-known movements of tragic Lisa Dorrian, 25, just hours before murder after ’20 years of secrecy’
CCTV footage showing the final movements of missing Co Down woman Lisa Dorrian has been released in a bid to help locate her 20 years after her disappearance.
The 25-year-old from Bangor was last seen on February 27, 2005 and is believed to have been murdered.

Nine days after her disappearance, the PSNI launched a murder investigation but no one has ever been charged with her killing.
Despite extensive searches in multiple locations and campaigning by her family, Lisa’s body has never been found.
Twenty years on, her family and police have issued a fresh appeal for information to help find her.
Desperate for answers, her family and the PSNI has released CCTV footage in a bid to help bid to jog the memories of the public.
This move was also supported by a £20,000 reward by the independent charity Crimestoppers for information leading to her body being found.
Lisa’s sister Joanne also said they are starting a digital billboard and bus shelter campaign across Northern Ireland highlighting the 20-year anniversary.
She urged: “Twenty years of secrecy could end with a phone call, a letter, a message.
“Please tell us where Lisa is.”
Last year, Lisa’s name was added to the gravestone of her mother Patricia, who passed away in 2015.
Detective Chief Inspector Kerrie Foreman said Lisa was last seen alive on the night of Sunday February 27, 2005, at a party in Ballyhalbert Caravan Park.
She said: “It’s believed she was murdered that night or in the early hours of the following morning.
“Despite hundreds of extensive search operations and thousands of lines of enquiries completed, Lisa’s body has not been found, and those responsible for her murder have not yet been held to account.
“Twenty years have now passed. That’s 20 long years of unimaginable torment for a loving family. Yet, despite their pain, they’ve never given up their search for answers and, likewise, our determination has remained steadfast.
“We’re releasing CCTV footage, along with still images. This is the last-known footage of Lisa in the run-up to her disappearance.
“My hope is to jog memories, and to encourage anyone with information to speak up.”
LISA DORRIAN CASE EXPLAINED
LISA was last seen at 5am on February 28, 2005 after attending a house party at a caravan park in Ballyhalbert.
The last person who saw Lisa alive had been at the party and told cops how he and Lisa fled the caravan when they heard noises and saw flashing lights outside.
The 25-year-olds handbag and belongings were discovered inside the caravan.
It is believed she was murdered that night or in the early hours of the following morning.
However, no-one has ever been charged and despite repeated appeals, her body has never been found.
Two decades on, the Bangor woman’s family and the PSNI are still searching for her body in the hope for answers and justice.
Detective Chief Inspector Foreman continued: “Lisa wasn’t just a name or an image on a photo or screen.
“She was a real person – a young woman with a family that love and continue to miss her dearly. They deserve to know what happened to her and they deserve justice.
“Those who have information, but who are reluctant or frightened to come forward, must surely have a troubled conscience.
“I am asking you to take this opportunity to do the right thing and speak up. Keep in mind that two decades have now passed. People’s circumstances may have changed and allegiances may have changed.”
“Please be assured that information can be passed, with 100 per cent anonymity, to the independent charity Crimestoppers.
“The charity is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for information given directly to them that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for Lisa’s murder or, noteworthy, for information that results in the recovery of her body.”
MURDER THEORY
It is thought Bangor shop worker Lisa’s death, at the hands of someone she knew, was not pre-planned.
She was earlier at a friend’s house before heading to Ballyhalbert Caravan Park where a party was in full swing.
There are suspicions Lisa was strangled by a man who then called on a close relative for help.
The older man, who had deep UVF connections, arrived at the scene and is believed to have helped dispose of her body.
Only Lisa’s handbag and a handful of other items were found during a search.
Officers have suspects in mind but, without a body or further information, they cannot progress the inquiry.
INFORMATION HOPE
The family are desperately hoping that someone with information will come forward and end their nightmare.
Speaking previously about the case, sister Joanne added: “I was 21 when Lisa went missing and I’m almost 40 now.
“It’s a different phase of life where there are things you did in your 20s that you wouldn’t dream of doing now.
“So that’s what we are saying. There are people out there who can come forward and end this for us.
“Twenty years of secrecy could end with a phone call, a letter, a message. Please tell us where Lisa is.”
Joanne Dorrian
She added: “I will celebrate the person who comes to me. I will be eternally grateful to them.
“I know that this cannot be an easy thing to live with so I do encourage them to get in touch.”
Anyone with information on the murder of Lisa Dorrian is asked to contact detectives on 101. Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
Photos and footage, including CCTV and mobile phone footage, can be shared with the Police Service through the Major Incident Public Portal at https://mipp.police.uk.

US firm to take over major Scots shopping centre with huge retail brands after it plunged into administration
A US firm is reportedly taking over a Scots retail mall after it plunged into administration.
East Kilbride Shopping Centre hit the market last year after years of continual store closures amid a downturn in the retail sector.

The vast shopping hub covers 1.2 million square feet and was once home to around 120 brands across several malls.
Popular retailers within the sprawling space include Boots, Carlton Bingo, Deichmann, H&M, HMV, JD Sports, Primark, and an Odeon Luxe cinema.
There is also an ice rink and more than 3,000 parking spaces across multi-storey car parks.
But now a US hedge fund has been named as a buyer for the centre, which is made up of four malls.
“Magnetar, with operating partner Northdale Asset Management, is in talks with administrators to buy the million-square-foot shopping centre for around £27 million,” Green Street News reported.
The massive shopping centre, which went into administration in 2022, is now being advertised by Savills.
The move comes as administrators from Interpath Advisory “stabilised” the shopping centre before putting it on the market, as reported by The Herald.
Savills said: “The council has approved a £62.2 million, 10-year masterplan that will radically transform the shopping and leisure destination into a vibrant, high-quality urban environment.
“A significant portion of the budget, £30 million, will be invested in transportation infrastructure improvements.
“As part of the redevelopment, the neighbouring Centre West Shopping Centre will be converted into a housing development, creating up to 400 new homes in the heart of the town.
“This transformation is expected to drive an annual footfall of approximately 15 million, returning to pre-pandemic levels.
“Progress has also been made on key leases, including agreements with a national supermarket chain and a budget hotel.”
We previously told how East Kilbride Shopping Centre had been branded “tragic” by locals.
Once a hotspot for shoppers, dozens of units now lie empty.

TOMMY Fury is set to cash in on his Molly-Mae reunion, after landing a new HUGE project.
Over the last month the former couple have been fuelling speculation that they have got back together, which included a romantic weekend away.

Molly-Mae and Tommy, both 25, left fans completely stunned last August after they announced the end of their relationship on social media.
However, lately the Love Island stars have been dropping clues left right and centre that they have reunited, which included spending Valentine’s together.
Straight off the back of that, it has been revealed that Tommy has landed a huge BBC documentary.
Called Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, the synopsis for the new series says the doc will “follow Tommy Fury as he attempts to get his life back on track.”
Speaking about the show, the boxer said: “A lot of people see me in the ring, they see me on social media, but they don’t see ME – the person behind all of that.
“I’m excited for everyone to finally be able to see what goes on behind the scenes, how the big fights are made, all the ups and downs as well as a glimpse into my private life.”
The BBC Three documentary follows hot off the heels of Molly-Mae’s HUGELY successful Amazon Prime fly on the wall series.
Tommy will be hoping to emulate the success his former partner has had with her doc.
VALENTINE’S GETAWAY
Tommy’s documentary news comes after The Sun was first to reveal how he had whisked Molly-Mae on a night away for Valentine’s.
They hired a babysitter to take care of their daughter Bambi, so they could get some alone time.
Despite Molly-Mae’s friends and family not being happy about them giving it another go, Tommy hopes their trip is another step towards getting their relationship back on track.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Tommy’s pulling out all the stops and whisking Molly away for a night to somewhere they’ve stayed before in happier times.
“He’s clearly hoping it’ll work its magic on Valentine’s night and she’ll remember how happy they used to be.”
Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury's split

After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split up in August 2024.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ‘ I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.
An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him ‘a dad’.

On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.
Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.
Inside Ronnie O’Sullivan’s Saudi snooker academy filled with legend’s memorabilia and best highlights playing on loop
RONNIE O’SULLIVAN is looking to find the next star of snooker in his Saudi Arabian academy – and hopefuls are surrounded with plenty of inspiration.
The seven-time world champion opened his own complex in October after signing a lucrative three-year ambassadorial deal.

SunSport took a trip to Riyadh’s Boulevard City to visit the Rocket’s academy – and was immediately greeted with a TV monitor playing O’Sullivan’s highlights.
The front desk is filled with memorabilia and Saudi-themed decoration – including a cardboard cutout of a camel.
Former professional Nigel Bond – a friend of O’Sullivan’s for 40 years – was on hand to greet SunSport and offer a tour of the complex.
Members and casual players have tables downstairs and upstairs to choose from – all decked out with O’Sullivan’s matchday gear.
Signed shirts, cues and pictures are all on display from the games rooms to stairs.
One lounge area even has O’Sullivan’s best career highlights on constant loop – in case players are in need of any motivation.
Bond – a World Championship finalist – has known O’Sullivan since the British legend was 11 years old and they spent years together on the tour.
So when the Saudis green lit the academy project, Rocket put in a good word for his old pal on the circuit.

Bond now heads up the coaching and reports back to boss O’Sullivan.
He said: “I keep in contact with Ronnie. He asks me kind of on a regular basis how things are going.
“He was out here for the official opening and then he was out here for the 167 back in December. He’s got a contract out here.”
O’Sullivan and Bond are offering free lessons to juniors in their bid to scout the next star of snooker.
Bond said: “I suppose we’re try create that legacy if you like. It needs one good player to kind of come through.
“You see with China, what happened with Ding [Junhui], and then obviously the game exploded, same in Thailand.
“I turned professional the same year as James Wattana, again the game exploded in Thailand.
“I mean, it’s not easy, but that’s ultimately what Ronnie would like to see is obviously a Saudi player playing on the tour.”
Saudi is attracting huge sports stars over to the Middle East, including football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Al-Nassr.
And O’Sullivan helped launch the Saudi Arabia Snooker Masters – where a total prize fund of £2.3million was on offer.
But perhaps the most affected by the Kingdom’s deep pockets is boxing with powerful politician Turki Al-Sheikh at the forefront.
Al-Sheikh – Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority – also cut the deal for O’Sullivan to join the Saudi regime.
And he works closely with promoter Eddie Hearn, whose dad Barry is president of the PDC.
Eddie – also PDC chairman – has visited the O’Sullivan academy and even tested out Bond’s cue.
Bond revealed: “Eddie Hearn came over for the boxing. Gave him a little bit of a tour, he played a few shots.”
The former British Open champion also revealed boxers like Liam Smith regularly pop in for a quick game.
O’Sullivan was just 16 when he turned pro and now he wants to replicate his own success by finding a protege.
Bond said: “He’s put his name name to the academy and he would like to see some good junior players coming through really.”

M3 closed with drivers stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic after ‘police incident’ saw lorry pulled over
THE M3 motorway has closed after a “police incident” which saw a lorry pulled over.
Motorists are trapped in bumper-to-bumper traffic as two lanes closed on the southbound carriageway between Junction 2 for the M25 and Junction 3 for Bagshot.

Pictures of the incident appear to show police surrounding a lorry pulled over on the side of the road.
Dozens of people were seen exiting the back of the lorry – before waiting at the side of the road wrapped in emergency blankets.
Stationary traffic is shown in the area, according to National Highways’ traffic map.
Drivers have been warned to allow more time for their journeys.

Former Man Utd chief Ed Woodward lined up for new job on board of company that owns stake in Premier League club
FORMER Manchester United chief Ed Woodward has been approached about joining a company with links to the Premier League.
Woodward left Old Trafford in 2022 following a nine-year stint with the Red Devils.

He returned to football last year by joining the Board of Trustees for Bloomsbury Football Foundation, a charity that works with young people from diverse backgrounds.
But now he could be in line for a huge new job with a company that part-owns a Premier League club.
According to Sky News, Woodward has been approached about joining Eagle Football Holdings as an independent director.
The company, which is controlled by American businessman John Textor, is currently preparing to list in the US.
It is is expected to file confidentially with US regulators for an initial public offering in the next fortnight.
Eagle Football currently owns a 45 per cent stake in Premier League side Crystal Palace.
The company has been attempting to sell the stake for months but could now decide to retain it given Palace’s impressive form in the top flight.
It also owns part of Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais.

Woodward joined Man Utd back in 2005 after playing a key role in the Glazer family’s takeover.
And he took on the role as executive vice-chairman when David Gill stepped down as CEO in 2013.
In that time, he trebled the value of the Red Devils.
