1 day agoNews 1Comments Off on I shed 7st after taking Mounjaro… trolls warn me about ‘bad side effects’ but now I’ve regained my health and life
A WOMAN has shared how she regained her ”health and life” after dropping 7st with Mounjaro.
Numerous experts and NHS medics have warned about the dangers of fat jabs and say they shouldn’t be taken without a prescription.
tiktok/@prinsessdaiOne woman claimed to have shed a whopping 7st in less than a year with Mounjaro[/caption]

Blonde beauty, only known as Prinsess Dai on TikTok, explained that before she embarked on her weight loss journey with the so-called ”fat loss jabs” she felt ”unhealthy and depressed”.
The Disney fan, from Hawaii, started using Mounjaro 11 months ago topping the scales at 17st and has so far dropped a whopping 7st.
Although according to the woman many warned her about the ”bad side effects” the jabs have, she said the only side effect was ”losing 100 lbs in 11 months” – which has totally transformed her.
Sharing the jaw-dropping makeover on her page, she hit back at the critics and trolls: ”GLP-1 biggest side effect is losing 100 lbs in 11 months, regaining my health and my life and fitting in all my clothes again.”
”It’s so noticeable how healthier I am when I have to go up and down my house! Incredible,” she couldn’t get over the amazing results in the video.
Although the blonde beauty now feels better than ever, shedding the huge weight has left with her sagging skin around her arms and tummy – which she’s considering to tackle with surgery.
She told TikTok users: ”Don’t have horrible amounts but it’s definitely there.
”It’s mostly because I’m in 40s and I’ve yo-yo diet my whole life.”
Chuffed with the epic transformation, she went on: ”Life doesn’t stop when you aren’t happy with your weight but after starting my GLP-1 journey it sure can get better once you start feeling happier and healthier.”
”I always made sure I embodied my personality but now I feel more like fully who I am.”
Mounjaro, known as the King Kong of jabs, is to be rolled out on the NHS.
Sun GP Dr Zoe Williams says it can save the lives of people with “life-threatening levels of obesity”.
But the NHS website warns: “Never take an anti-obesity medicine if it has not been prescribed to you. These types of medicines may not be safe for you and can cause serious side effects.”
About half a million Brits take weight loss drugs – and that number is expected to double in the next year.
Mounjaro is said to suppress the appetite, making people feel fuller for longer.
Weight loss injections are licensed for patients with type 2 diabetes and to assist those who are clinically obese – with a Body Mass Index of 30 or over.
One jab is administered each week but the duration is dependent on a person’s weight.
The drugs can be lawfully supplied only when prescribed by a practitioner – like a doctor, nurse or a pharmacist-independent prescriber.
But many people are buying them through online pharmacies with insufficient checks.
Earlier this year, figures from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency revealed fat jabs had been linked to 82 deaths across the UK.
The stunner’s weight loss journey has racked up more than 34k likes on the platform.
But social media users were left totally divided – whilst many praised the makeover and thought she looked ”incredible”, not everyone was as keen on the idea of using fat loss jabs to shed the pounds.
One viewer shared their horrific experience, writing: ”So glad it worked for you. My side effect was going blind in right eye.”
Someone else thought: ”it’s aged you 20 years, the slower you lose weight the better.”
But another praised: ”Wow you must feel so healthy and so much easier to do stairs – congrats!”
”Omg…you look amazing, well done keep up the good work,” a social media user added.
The dark side of Mounjaro
Last year it was revealed that Scots nurse Susan McGowan, 58, died after taking low-dose injections of Mounjaro over a fortnight.
A probe also found that nearly 400 people have gone to hospital after taking weight loss drugs.
Side effects include nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea leading to severe dehydration.
But doctors say they have also seen “life-threatening complications”, including seizures, bowel obstruction and inflammation of the pancreas.
The makers of Mounjaro, Lilly UK, said patient safety is its “top priority”.
Lilly UK stressed: “Regulatory agencies conduct extensive independent assessments of the benefits and risks of every new medicine and Lilly is committed to continually monitoring, evaluating, and reporting safety data.
“If anyone is experiencing side effects when taking any Lilly medicine, they should talk to their doctor or other healthcare professional.”

1 day agoNews 1Comments Off on We live next to Britain’s longest-running roadworks blighted by closures for over a DECADE – it’s a pure waste of money

FURIOUS locals who live next to Britain’s longest-running roadworks have branded the project a “pure waste of money”.
Beginning in 2015, the cost of the roadworks has soared over the years – much to the frustration of drivers.
The roadworks began ten years ago in 2015AlamyResidents have said that the works are beginning to affect their businessesAlamy
Witham is a bustling commuter town in the heart of Essex, with many using the A12 to get to work in London.
However, roadworks at the Woodend Bridge regularly disrupt journeys.
The works began in 2015 and have continued ever since, making them the longest running roadworks in Britain.
The BBC uncovered that the work has cost the roadwork’s traffic flow control system alone has cost taxpayers £473,196 since 2018.
Some commuters have tried to find humour in the situation.
One took to TripAdvisor to recommend the traffic lights to tourists.
He said: “Although it can be slightly annoying to be stuck at these lights, the pure joy and euphoria you feel when the light is green is out of this world.”
The roadworks even made it to the top of TripAdvisor’s list of the top attractions in Witham, with fans declaring them a “national treasure”.
However, frustration has continued to build and some residents are fed up.
One said: “It’s quite embarrassing when you read the news and see you’ve got the longest-running roadworks in the country.”
Another opened up about how the delays have begun affecting their business.
Alistair McColm told the BBC that the staff at his kennel and cattery often receive abuse from motorists because of the delays.
He also revealed that farmers have been struggling, as they use the bridge to get back to Witham.
National Highways have previously said that the closure has been necessary because the bridge is “unable to safely support the weight of traffic”.
They are planning to finish installing a replacement bridge beam by the end of 2026, at a cost of £1.6 million.
According to them, they have been finalising a design which causes the least disruption to drivers who rely on the A12 which runs underneath the bridge.
The news comes as Britain’s busiest motorway closed for four days over the weekend.
The M25 shut between Junction 10 and 11 on March 7 and will reopen on March 10.
However, the M25 will close again from March 21 until March 24 as work continues.
National Highways have warned travellers to adjust their travel plans, as the route is one of the most popular ways of getting to Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
Braintree Council have been approached for comment about the roadworks.

1 day agoNews 1Comments Off on Major warning to Irish drivers as loophole over avoiding penalty points set to end next month
AN URGENT warning has been issued to thousands of Irish drivers using a loophole to avoid penalty points, as it is set to end next month.
A legal loophole that allows motorists to receive a 24-hour driving disqualification in order to avoid penalty points is set to be closed in April, the Department of Transport reveals.
When the drivers are almost at 12 penalty points on their licence, some drivers have used Section 2.8 of the Road Traffic Act 2002 to avoid getting six-month driving suspensions.
Section 2.8 permits drivers to earn an auxiliary driving prohibition instead of penalty points, which is how the loophole works.
The duration of this driving ban is determined by the specific judge overseeing the penalty points case.
After the Irish Times first brought attention to the loophole in 2024, a law was recently passed in an attempt to close it, allowing the judge to impose both penalty points and driving bans for a single offence.
The process of merging applying bans and apply penalty points has taken some time.
Still, provisions for closing the loophole are expected to be finalised in the next few weeks, according to the Department of Transport.
Recently, KFM Radio reported that a woman in front of Naas District Court was likely to receive five penalty points for not wearing a seat belt.
However, she had the points removed and instead received the 24-hour driving ban by using the loophole.
The Road Safety Authority’s latest figure shows that were 74,674 people on the list waiting for a date in February, an increase of just over 2,000 compared to January.
The stats also revealed that the estimated national average waiting time has increased from 22 weeks in January to 23 weeks last month.
However, the RSA’s target meant that no one should be waiting more than 10 weeks for their driving test.
And none of the 61 test centres nationwide meet the goal.
‘EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED’
Many learner drivers have been in the system for a total of ten months, including Matthew Duff.
Talking to RTE News, he revealed that he applied for a retest and still has not heard back with a confirmed date.
He said that the delay has a major effect on his daily life, including lengthening his commutes because he is only able to drive when accompanied by a fully qualified driver.
He said: “I’m extremely frustrated over it. I live in Ratoath. I go to college in Coolock, and I also work in town. Public transport wise, it just doesn’t cut it.
“I’m normally late to college because it takes about two hours to get there [compared to 40 minutes in the car].
“Not having a license prevents me from actually getting more work in other counties.”
PLANS TO REDUCE DELAYS
In hopes to reduce the delays of waiting time, the RSA and the Department of Transport stated that additional testers have been recruited.
The first group of testers has begun their training and is set to see 200 testers once completed.
It is anticipated that the intention to reinstate the ten-week waiting period and steps to expedite that process will be at the forefront of the Minister of Transport’s upcoming meeting with the RSA.
Brendan Walsh, the chief operations officer at the RSA, said: “This is an important first step in bringing down driving test waiting times and I am confident that we will see a significant improvement over the coming months.”
Drivers are warned that the loophole will be ending next month
