Social media users eagerly flocked to the comments, desperate to share their rave reviews of the cheap spray.

How to keep clothes fresh in a wardrobe

  • Don’t cram all your clothes together.
  • Always make sure your clothes are completely dry before you put them in the wardrobe.
  • Don’t put shoes in the wardrobe straight after wearing. If your shoes smell, putting them in a confined space will leave the whole space smelling of your shoes.
  • Use a long-lasting scented fabric conditioner to leave clothes smelling fresher for longer.

One person said: “I use this on bedding most days.”

Another added: “Smells amazing, like a spa.”

A third commented: “I use this, it’s gorgeous.”

Rave reviews

Not only this, but M&S shoppers also raced to the Ocado website to express their gushing thoughts on the “gorgeous” spray.

It has a strong scent but it lasts and covers any nasty smells. I much prefer this to Febreze

Ocado shopper

One shopper beamed: “This is so much better than the popular well known brand. Smells fresh, clean and really makes a lasting difference to clothes. I use on coats mainly in between washes!”

A second chimed in: “Much better value than Febreze and it smells great! This one though has a very nice and special scent, very clean and uplifting, upmarket type.

Cleaning hacks and tips

Here are some tips to help you clean your home like a pro:

“Will be my regular now, so happy to have found it. I spray everywhere especially after cooking when one has open plan living areas but don’t want food smells lingering!”

As well as this, another bargain hunter praised the “fresh, long lasting scent” and explained: “I love using this to freshen up fabrics such as the sofa or in between bed sheet washes.

“It has a strong scent but it lasts and covers any nasty smells. I much prefer this to Febreze. It is very good value.”

Nearly half of Brits have no idea how to recycle and 25% dread the testing chore – do you know the rules?

DO YOU know your recycling from your general waste?

Take this quiz to see if you can correctly recycle these items.

A whopping 47 per cent of Brits are unable to tell what can be recycled and what can’t[/caption]

Some don’t bother rinsing out their containers before recycling them[/caption]

Are you a recycling pro, or do you still have room for improvement?

Users will be quizzed on various items to determine whether they belong in recycling or general waste.

Put your knowledge to the test and see if you can get a perfect score.

It comes after a poll of 2,000 adults found four in 10 are still baffled when it comes to recycling – with 47 per cent struggling to tell what is recyclable and what isn’t.

With some of the recyclable items Brits still think they have to put in the general waste bin including glass jars, tin cans and plastic takeaway containers.

Broken glass (36 per cent) and aerosol cans (21 per cent) also regularly ending up in the bin when they could be recycled, while 44 per cent think polystyrene is recyclable, when it should be disposed of in general waste.

It also emerged 16 per cent are unaware metal bottle tops can be recycled, and 12 per cent mistakenly think tins belong in the regular bin.

The research comes ahead of the Simpler Recycling legislation, where all businesses with 10 or more full-time employees will have to separate plastic, paper, card, glass, metals and food waste from general waste from 31st March 2025 or risk a fine.

Roger Wright, waste strategy & packaging manager at Biffa, which commissioned the research, said: “Clear and accessible recycling information is key to helping individuals make more sustainable choices.

“We can see from these findings that there are clearly good intentions when it comes to recycling.

“People care about the environmental impact of their rubbish, however, there is still a lot of confusion as to what can and can’t be recycled and many people are still struggling to get it right.

“Recycling rates across the UK have broadly stagnated, even declining in some regions, so it’s crucial we all play our part in helping the public understand what can and can’t be recycled.”

The study also found 69 per cent think there should be more information available to help people to recycle properly, with 75 per cent believing it should be made clearer on product packaging whether or not an item can be recycled.

And 26 per cent went as far as to say they dread sorting their recycling as they’re unsure what might not be collected.

While 19 per cent still only sometimes clean out dirty recyclables like jars or containers before disposing of them.

The research, carried out via OnePoll.com, found 53 per cent are recycling multiple times a day at home, but this drops to just 17 per cent at work.

However, 45 per cent believe recycling efforts have improved in their workplace in the last five years.

More than four in 10 (43 per cent) believe easier to understand guidelines would help them feel more confident in their recycling habits, while a third think incentives for recycling would help.

Although 42 per cent have experienced ‘recycling guilt’ after throwing an item in the general waste bin that they thought could have been recycled.

The new legislation rolls out to households from 31st March 2026, when all local authorities will be required to provide standardised weekly recycling and food waste collections, simplifying what is collected.

Roger Wright, from Biffa, added: “Recycling the right way saves valuable materials, reduces waste, and keeps the planet healthy for future generations.

“Food residue and liquid left on recyclable items could contaminate an entire recycling load and result in it having to be disposed of rather than recycled into new products.

“Simple actions, like rinsing containers and not putting recyclables in general waste, can make a big impact.

“The implementation of the legislation in March is a crucial step forward in encouraging behavioural change in the workplace and at home, reducing contamination and reigniting stalled recycling rates on the UK’s journey to net zero.”

ITEMS WHICH CAN AND CAN’T BE RECYCLED:

1.          Polystyrene/Styrofoam – General waste.

2.          Dirty pizza boxes– A bit of both.  Any parts of the box covered in cheese or other food should be thrown in general waste, but clean cardboard should always be recycled.

3.          Plastic bottle lids – Recyclable, only when put back onto the bottle.

4.          Plastic takeaway containers – Recyclable. Please ensure you rinse and empty these before putting them into the recycling.

5.          Aerosol cans – Recyclable. Only once completely empty.

6.          Batteries – Recyclable at specific disposal points. Check your local council or many supermarkets offer recycling points for smaller batteries.

7.          Glass jars – Recyclable. Please ensure you rinse and empty these before putting them into the recycling.

Watch the moment Corrie fans slam ‘most ridiculous accident in soap history’ as Rob Donovan falls over balcony

Rob plummeted to the floor after doing an impressive ‘summersault’[/caption]

He held his sister Carla Connor at gunpoint in a abandoned factory and brutally attacked DCI Lisa Swain.

Summoning every ounce of strength, Carla charged at him, shoving him hard.

But instead of just slamming into the wall, Rob bounced off it and appeared to do a summersault over the stairwell in a bizarre stunt.

ITV viewers could not believe their eyes and have taken to social media in their droves to share their amusement at the scene.

One fan shared a clip of the moment Rob fell and wrote: “And people slagged off EastEnders Kojo’s stunt of falling down the stairs, this from Emmerdale tops it.”

A second posted a clip of a man throwing a ball at the wall and quipped: “Rob bounces off the wall in Corrie.”

A third hilariously wrote: “Let me get this straight…Carla pushes Rob, he stumbles into the wall and then, quite acrobatically, launches himself off the stairs…Get Rob done for diving please ref.”

“I was wondering if that wall was made of rubber. That was the most unnatural move I’ve seen in a while,” a fourth commented.

This person said: “Can someone please check on Rob, after getting pushed down some stairs and banging into the wall, I heard he’s doing some back flips.”

“Wtf have I just watched he practically threw himself over I’m crying,” this viewer posted.

Someone else said: “It’s like a Harry Hilly TV burp sketch,” while this viewer echoed: “Ok so somebody explain to me like I’m a five year old, how Rob fell over the side there…”

Another fumed: “This is a farce……it’s beyond ridiculous and the producers and writers should be ashamed for creating this utter embarrassing drivel.”

Following his baffling backflip, Rob was left motionless on the floor as a horrified Carla looked on.

A battered but very much alive Lisa then staggered onto the scene.

The cold-blooded killer had struck a secret deal – offering up a kidney to save his sister Carla Connor (Alison King), while her copper partner DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) vowed to pull strings to get his conviction overturned.

However, Lisa had no intention of sticking to the deal.

So, as soon as the operation was over, Rob launched his daring escape and turned to his his prison guard lover, Mandy (Rebecca Atkinson), for a last-ditch escape plan.

She wasted no time, seizing Carla at gunpoint and dragging her out of bed before forcing her to an abandoned office block – setting the stage for a deadly showdown.

Carla desperately tried to make Mandy see sense, warning her that Rob was only using her.

Meanwhile, Rob hijacked Lisa’s car, demanding a hefty cash transfer and warning that Carla would suffer if she didn’t comply.

But when Lisa attempted to call for backup, Rob snapped – viciously attacking her and leaving her for dead.

Back at the office block, Mandy revealed she was pregnant with his child, but Rob’s reaction was far from what she expected.

Instead of joy, he lashed out, knocking her to the ground, finally exposing his true colours.

Realising the monster he really was, Mandy walked away, while Rob coldly declared that he cared about no one but himself and his freedom.

With chilling composure, he then admitted to Carla that he may have just murdered Lisa – leaving her horrified.

But Carla wasn’t about to let him win and gave him a big shove, which resulted in his accidental fall.

But is Rob dead?

‘I’m not causing any harm by wearing a pair of heels’ – Former Arsenal star reveals why he felt ‘misjudged’ at the club

FORMER Arsenal midfielder Miguel Azeez has admitted he felt “misjudged” throughout his time with the Gunners.

Azeez first joined the London side at the age of five and spent the next 11 years climbing the Hale End academy ranks.

He also has a love for music and art[/caption]

He signed his first professional contract in 2019 and made his senior debut the following year in a Europa League match against Dundalk.

That proved to be his only first team appearance for Arsenal as he was later sent out on several loan spells to Portsmouth, Ibiza and Wigan respectively before joining Spanish side Atletico Baleares last January.

Seven months later, Azeez moved on again, this time to PAS Giannina in Greece.

The midfielder has since made 13 appearances, scoring once.

Alongside football, Azeez enjoys expressing himself through art, music and fashion.

But in a recent interview with The Athletic he revealed that he felt “misjudged” compared to his team-mates.

The 22-year-old said: “I definitely felt, not adversity, but being misjudged.

“Ask anyone at Arsenal — I was always first into training and last to leave.

“If I looked like a quintessential footballer they would not have thought anything of it but because of how I looked, the hairstyles, the face, jewellery, whatever it was, they would say, ‘He is trying to be aloof by coming in early to be by himself’. I was just trying to improve.

“That word ‘aloof’ was used against me at Arsenal. My team-mates were in the changing room on their phones on Snapchat when I was in the gym working, but they would just see me by myself and put two and two together.

“The players seemed to take to it, which was nice. It was from the coaching side of things.

“I don’t know if it was an upbringing thing or a hierarchy thing. I took it as people thinking, ‘Who does he think he is? Does he think he is better than me?’.

“Nah, I’m just being myself. I’m not causing any harm by wearing a pair of heels.

“There was always this thing representing the badge. I get that, but I think they wanted a different image to what I was giving.

“I guess there’s a lot of people who would change their personalities just to get to where they felt they needed to be. I’ve always said I’m a person who plays football.

“When people start to think they are a footballer before they’re a person, that’s when they start to change who they are.”

Recalling his Arsenal departure, he added: “I felt like I had to go. You would train with the 21s, be in with the first team and be on the bench but not get on. I had to try to create my own path.

“I don’t think anybody would like a player not extending their contract, but it wasn’t the nicest send-off.

“Normally, a player who was leaving would get their shirt signed by all the players and staff. I didn’t get that or a meeting saying goodbye.

“Not that I cared as I don’t need that to feel validated but me being the longest-serving player, it would have been nice to get something.”

SunSport has approached Arsenal for comment.

Horror as homes evacuated after giant 65ft sinkhole appeared in middle of residential street with loud ‘cracking’ sound

A HIGH street has been cordoned off and a major evacuation is underway after a large sink hole emerged.

Cops have closed off Godstone High Street between Oxted Road and Bletchingley Road in Godstone, Surrey.

The road is likely to remain closed for an extended period of time, the force confirmed.

A small number of buildings have been evacuated as a precaution while emergency services swoop in.

“Please avoid the area and use alternative routes,” a Surrey Highways spokesperson said.

SES Water said it was aware of a burst water main in Godstone High Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Teams had been deployed to carry out urgent work, an SES Water spokesperson said.

“We’re really sorry for the disruption this is causing and are doing all we can to resolve the situation as quickly as possible,” they said.

“I’ve been here for about an hour and a half,” BBC Radio Surrey reporter Adrian Harms said.

“And on a couple of occasions I’ve heard some cracking and seen the hole getting bigger.

“It’s filled with water so there’s no real telling how far down it goes.”

He added: “If you think of a scene from an earthquake where the road is buckled and the pavement’s buckled, that’s exactly what it’s like here.”
