That’s right: Bath & Body Works has teamed up with Disney. The partnership is generating a lot of buzz on the internet after the retail company launched its line of Disney princess fragrances. But according to some Disney adults, the collection is "weak and generic." Here’s everything you need to know about the new launch and what shoppers are saying online.

The Bath & Body Works x Disney collection features six new fragrances, each named after an iconic Disney princess. As for what they smell like, their formulas are tailored to the princesses’ unique personalities and the movies that made them popular. Customers can shop scents inspired by Cinderella, Tiana, Belle, Ariel, Moana, and Jasmine. Read up on their scent profiles below, as described by Bath & Body Works.

  • Cinderella: gardenia petals, musk, and sapphire blue amber
  • Tiana: water lily, amber, and shimmering bayou woods
  • Belle: rose petals, buttercup, and whipped vanilla
  • Ariel: sea salt, golden citrus, and coral waters
  • Moana: green palms, plumeria, and coconut water
  • Jasmine: jasmine, currants, and soft woods

It features 85 new products.

The Disney princess fragrance line includes 85 products, ranging from body care essentials to home accessories and, of course, Bath & Body Works' famous three-wick candles. Prices start as low as $2, with some items costing upwards of $50. Here are a few items you can expect to find within the collection, plus pricing.

  • Fine Fragrance Mist ($18)
  • Three-Wick Candle ($27)
  • Gentle & Clean Foaming Hand Soap ($8)

  • Body Wash ($16)
  • Lip Gloss ($9)
  • Wallflowers Fragrance Plug ($40)
  • Wallflowers Fragrance Refill ($8)
  • Mirror Body Care Tray ($35)

Shoppers say the fragrances are "tone deaf" and smell like alcohol.

The results are in: Shoppers aren’t impressed by the Bath & Body Works x Disney fragrances. In a Reddit thread, customers admitted they were “disappointed” by the collection, which one person called "weak and generic."

"I’m in store now and none of this is grabbing me," wrote one person from their Bath & Body Works location.

A shopper compared the Moana fragrance to "Malibu Rum," while another said the Tiana scent "smells like Playdoh and a pond of frogs."

"I got Cinderella, Ariel and Belle and I’m planning to return all of them. They just don’t smell good. Belle is too Rosy, Cinderella is underwhelming and Ariel is way too strong for me," one user reported.

TikToker PL Smells (@plsmells) told followers that Ariel "smells like hairspray," Belle is "the grossest one," and Cinderella’s fragrance is a "DIY migraine."

"As I expected, Bath & Body Works’ notes are tone deaf. Five out of six of these are barely in the ballpark," he said in a review video.

TikToker Emily Meyers (@emilynnmeyers) also had conflicting feelings about the Disney fragrances. "Okay, we aren't starting off strong here," she told followers after sampling Cinderella.

All said and done, Jasmine came out on top, followed by Belle for Meyers. While she likes the Moana scent, Meyers said it’s super light and could be a fragrance that wears off quickly, especially during the summer.

She didn’t think twice before she went in herself to try and get the much-loved mutt to safety in Newmachar, Aberdeenshire.

But she wound up stuck for hours as she desperately battled to keep the dog and herself alive.

The woman said: “Thank you so much to the police, paramedics, fire service and special response unit who saved my life along with my parents’ dog.

“The old boy got in difficulty in a slurry pit and I went in to help him.

“Two hours later, frozen and up to my neck in slurry while keeping his head up, and with the help and care of our emergency services, we all lived to tell the tale.”

The woman managed to raise the alarm just before 17.00 on Monday night at the isolated spot.

She would have been stuck as it began to get dark and temperatures plummeted and the area was hit by rain and wind.

The walker revealed that both her and the dog are okay and recovering after the scary incident.

She revealed she was able to raise the alarm through an app on her phone that pinpoints a person’s location.

The walker said: “It was terrifying. Please everyone, download the What3Words app. That literally saved my life. Forever grateful for our amazing emergency service.”

People on social media were stunned by the rescue. One said: “Glad that you are both safe. A big shout out to all emergency services, what stars you all are.”

Another added: “You’re very lucky you didn’t die. The fumes alone can kill very quickly.”

One poster said: “Well done for saving your parents dog, despite putting yourself at risk. Very brave. Take care while you recover from the ordeal.”

A spokeswoman for Scottish Fire and Rescue said: “We were alerted at 4.55pm on Monday, 17 February, to reports of a person and a dog stuck in a slurry pit near to Kingseat Road, Newmachar.

“Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and specialist resources to the scene to support our emergency service partners.

“One casualty and one dog were rescued and the casualty was handed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service to be checked over.

“Crews then left the scene at 7.30pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received a report that a woman and her dog were stuck in slurry at Newmachar. Emergency services attended and they were rescued.”

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokeswoman added: “An ambulance and two special operations response teams were dispatched, and one patient was treated at the scene.”

Neville still has time for date nights with his wife on Thursdays in Manchester city centre, not far from where they live and close to his HQ.

The former defender owns six buildings in Manchester and his HQ is adorned with inspirational decorations.

One is a framed poster with a with a silhouette of Rocky Balboa at the top of those Philadelphia steps.

While another is more personal – Liverpool’s famous banner mocking Neville’s appearance, that was once displayed in the Kop.

Neville said of the banner: “There’s a Scouse lad who works on our podcast. Every time I played at Anfield they’d have a different banner for me.

“One year they compared me to Dot Cotton off Eastenders.

“We were talking about this one and the lad said he thought he knew who had it, so he went and got it. I like looking at it every day – it keeps me humble.”

Neville is a frequent face on Sky Sports and hosts the popular Stick to Football podcast, but he revealed 90 per cent of his life is spent in his Manchester HQ.

His latest venture is a new 40-storey building in Manchester called St Michael’s, that will feature offices, apartments, a hotel and a rooftop restaurant.

Neville said: “St Michael’s is going to be 40 storeys. As I said, I love the thrill of it all. The interior design, the selling part of it, the finding land, the planning.

“I’d say 90 per cent of my life’s here. It’s not on television or with football. It’s literally in here, in meetings about all the businesses and the different things that we’re doing. It’s amazing.”

FANS have claimed that a Love Island star “looked like she was going to cry” after speaking to Maya Jama during last night’s final.

She accused Grace Jackson of having a game plan and then sent Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint home on Sunday night[/caption]

But now fans have spotted how one of the previously axed Islanders looked sad and as if they were going to break down in tears after chatting to host Maya.

“Does anyone else feel really bad for Liv??? She looked like she was going to cry after talking to Maya,” one person said on Reddit.

Someone then commented: “She looks sad, I think she regrets what she did she realises it wasn’t worth it!”

While another penned: “I really hate all the nastiness and spite from today and last night.. has just spoilt the series for me.”

A third person then said: “I hope she’s surrounded by good people who love and care for her and provide her w a safe space as nothing is that deep ab love island or any reality TV show for that matter to be sending death threats.”

“The producers absolutely should have made sure Maya didn’t bring up the screenshots after she got all those heinous messages and death threats. People take everything too far it’s so scary,” added a fourth.

While someone else replied: “But it was ok for producers to air Liv’s allegations while voting was open even tho they hadn’t been substantiated? Keep the same energy.”

EXPLOSIVE COMEBACK

When Liv made her comeback to the villa on Sunday night as the axed 2025 Islanders voted on who should make it to the final, she came head-to-head with Grace Jackson when everything exploded.

“So I’ve seen text messages of Grace just saying to someone that she’ll do whatever it takes to win the show this time from someone back home,” Liv said on Sunday night.

Harriett chimed in at the time, defending Grace, saying: “She probably made it up babe, like she did with Ronnie.”

Grace added: “Baby, that is absolutely not true. I do not care about winning this show.”

“I’ve seen the screenshots. I’m not saying who,” Liv added.

Harriett then said to Liv: “Babe, you’ve made it up like you’ve made up that Ronnie was into you.

“F***ing go home, honestly. Is she alright?”

Samie Elishi then weighed in and said: “We have seen the screenshots.”

Show bosses have now been forced to step in after Liv was sent death threats after her reveal.

BEHIND-THE-SCENES SUPPORT

Yesterday, ahead of the grand finale, The Sun revealed that the 29-year-old was being supported behind the scenes after receiving vile and abusive messages online.

A source told The Sun: “It’s awful what Olivia is having to endure online, but Love Island bosses are taking care of her behind the scenes.

“All Islanders have someone from ITV help them deal with social media after coming out of the villa and they’ve also got the offer of therapy in their aftercare package.

“Fans can often forget they’re real people when they send abuse in the heat of the moment.”

Married At First Sight 2023 star Luke Worley has been teasing fans with clues he might be going on the Australian version of the show.

The reality star, 32, shot to fame on season eight of the UK series, but his marriage to Jay Howard didn’t work out.

Now he has hinted that he is heading Down Under to be appear on the Aussie MAFS.

It came after a fan commented on one of his Instagram posts and wrote: “I reckon he’s going back on MAFS.”

Luke then teasingly replied with a series of eye emojis followed by a kangaroo – which are well known to be associated with Australia.

LUKE’S ‘PROPOSAL’

This comment comes just a day after Luke kicked off rumours he was heading back to MAFS.

Yesterday he was caught on camera “proposing” to a “mystery woman”.

He sent fans into meltdown when he cryptically covered the “person” he was popping the question to with a slew of red heart emojis and, even more bizarrely, captioned the photo on Instagram: “She said no 😅.”

Fans were quick to come up with the theory that he might have signed up to another series of the Married At First Sight global franchise.

One person wrote: “He’s defo going back on MAFS.”

Replying, another follower agreed: “MAFS Australia 🤔.”

LUKE’S MAFS JOURNEY

Luke appeared on the 2023 series of Married At First Sight and tied the knot with Jay Howard.

The pair appeared to hit it off, but cracks soon began to appear.

The couple were later forced to make an early exit from the E4 show after Luke had a huge bust up with his co-star, Jordan Gayle.

Fans had high hopes for Luke and Jay’s relationship but unfortunately they were quick to split.

Returning later in the series for the MAFS Reunion show, Jay confirmed they had gone their separate ways.

Jay admitted to her co-stars: “He literally basically just said, like, we are better off just being friends.

“I asked him what he wanted, but he couldn’t answer the question.”

Mafs couples that have stood the test of time

Loved-up Tayah Victoria and Adam Aveling of series six fame had the first Mafs baby.

The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.

Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.

Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.

Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”

Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.

Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.

“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.

“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’

“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”

Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.

Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.

They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.

Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”

THE HISTORY OF DUNNES STORES

DUNNES Stores opened its first store on Patrick Street in Cork in 1944 - and it was an instant hit.

Shoppers from all over the city rushed to the store to snap up quality clothing at pre-war prices in Ireland’s first ‘shopping frenzy’.

During the excitement, a window was forced in and the police had to be called to help control the crowds hoping to bag founder Ben Dunne’s ‘Better Value’ bargains.

Dunnes later opened more stores in the 1950s and began to sell groceries in 1960 – starting with apples and oranges.

The retailer said: “Fruit was expensive at the time and Ben Dunne yet again offered Better Value than anyone else in town.

“Over time, our food selection has grown and that spirit of good value has remained strong.

“Now we offer a wide range of carefully-sourced foods from both local Irish suppliers and overseas.”

The retailer’s first Dublin store opened its doors in 1957 on Henry Street and a super store on South Great Georges Street was unveiled in 1960.

They added: “In 1971, our first Northern Irish store opened, and many others soon followed.

“Expansion continued in the 1980s in Spain, and later into Scotland and England.”

Dunnes now has 142 stores and employs 15,000 people.
