“All three of them with kill counts in the hundreds”: The 3 Avatar: The Last Airbender Characters Who’d Be Mass Murderers If the Show Had a Mature Rating

Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender actually did a lot of things right for an action show, being able to rival most shonen anime in a way that few Western animated shows and films have managed to.

However, it cannot go unnoticed that there is a slew of characters that are absolute powerhouses, and in any other, especially more mature media, would have been monstrous hosts unto themselves, killing by the thousands.

There are three characters that fans are sure would have decimated armies without a thought and would have had a kill count to rival extinction events. Had the show been a little more mature, fans believe Toph, Azula, and Zuko would probably have a pretty horrific body count, given their personalities, character arcs, motivations, and the role that they play in the narrative.

Toph alone would be a pretty terrifying character in a mature Avatar: The Last Airbender

Avatar: The Last Airbender has its fair share of characters that are very much considered to be heavyweights in the world of the show. While characters like Ozai, Iroh, and Roku probably would also deserve a spot on the list, Toph, Azula, and Zuko might just take the top sports, and fans believe the same.

Toph, Zuko, and Azula were one of the top competitors when it came to a kill count in a mature version of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Zuko would probably do so to please his father, claiming several lives to restore his honor.

Azula, on the other hand, would probably be even more of a ruthless killer who has little regard for the lives of anyone who is not her. Toph, by virtue of being the heaviest hitter in the Gaang, will probably have the blood of multiple teams of antagonists.

Zuko would likely have the lowest kill count among the trio

Zuko, understandably, would be the character with the lowest kill count. Toph and Azula have their own motivations in the story that would have made them severe heavy hitters. Azula would do her father’s bidding, who himself would have an impressive kill count as well. However, eager to cement her position as the heir to The Fire Nation, Azula would have gone out of her way to be as ruthless as possible.

Toph, on the other hand, would probably have some kills under her belt thanks to her involvement in the fighting rings. As the Blind Bandit, in a mature setting, the character would probably send a lot of people to the grave. After joining team Avatar, the character would rack up the highest kill count when faced with fire nation soldiers, bar none.

Therefore, Zuko, tempered by Iroh, and his own conscience, will probably have a lower kill count. Plus, given that he would want to keep to the shadows to avoid detection while he hunts for The Avatar, Zuko’s predicament would make him the lowest among the top three, but a powerful despotic bender nonetheless.
