ALDI Ireland has released a game-changing air fryer – and it makes the perfect Ninja dupe.
The Ambiano Air Fryer With Window is set to arrive in store next Thursday, February 6.
Air fryers make a perfect healthy alternative to deep-frying and require little to no oil, yet still retain all the flavour.
It uses a fan and a heating element to cook food, making it a much healthier option compared to other frying methods.
This supermarket find is very similar to the pricier Ninja brand air fryers, which also feature a viewing window.
Aldi chiefs said: “See the cooking progress like a traditional convection oven with this convenient Air Fryer With Window.”
It has a large 4.8L capacity and the viewing window.
Cooks can whip up tasty meals with 12 preset programs, a 60-minute digital timer, and variable temperature control.
The handy kitchen gadget also has overheat protection and a digital touch screen.
Shoppers must act fast, as this must-have kitchen item is set to sell out quickly.
Other kitchen items arriving in stores next week include a kettle, toaster, megastone pan sets, mini saucepans, and Stanley dupe bottles.
The Ambiano Textured Kettle and Toaster, just €14.99 each, are also arriving in stores.
The eye-catching kettle, with 1.7L capacity, comes in blue, white or yellow.
Pair it with the matching toaster, also available in the same colour range.
Included in the Ambiano range is a Milk Frother just €24.99.
The retailer said: “Liven up your hot drinks at home with this easy-to-use Milk Frother.
“Preparation of hot and cold milk foam, also suitable for heating milk.”
With a 240ml capacity, they come in black, white or grey.
The Salter Megastone Pans, costing €19.99 each, are ideal for gourmet cooking.
Aldi bosses said: “Crafted from four layers of PFOA free materials for long lasting quality with abrasion, scratch and corrosion resistance.
“Suitable for all hob types including induction. Choose from 28cm Frying Pan or 28cm Griddle Pan.”
The stainless steel bottle makes a perfect Stanley dupe and is a bargain at €7.99.
They come in white, purple, pink or grey.
These stylish stainless-steel bottles have a handle and flip-up straw, similar to the popular Stanley brand.
THE HISTORY OF ALDI
The German discount supermarket chain came to Ireland in 1999.
Aldi’s first few shops opened in November 1999, with locations in Sandyford, Dublin, and Ballincollig, Cork.
By the mid-2000s, Aldi bosses had opened numerous stores, focusing on providing high-quality products at low prices.
As the recession hit 2008-2012, Aldi’s popularity grew as consumers became more price-conscious.
The supermarket giant continued it’s expansion in Ireland between 2013-2018, while refurbishing existing stores.
By 2018, Aldi had over 130 shops throughout the country.
The chain began to focus on expanding its range of Irish-made products and supporting local producers.
In 2023, Aldi had over 140 stores in Ireland.
The store invested in sustainability initiatives, such as reducing plastic packaging and increasing the availability of organic and eco-friendly products.
Aldi chiefs said: “At Aldi we are committed to supporting Irish suppliers. Developed in partnership with Bord Bia, Grow with Aldi is designed to help the very best Irish suppliers develop their brand.
“To date, we’ve invested €10 million in our Grow with Aldi development programme in a bid to find the very best Irish suppliers.
“As a result, for a limited time only there are over 47 new products, from 27 Irish suppliers available in store.”
Aldi have introduced technological advancements with self-checkout systems and contactless payment options.
