Agatha All Along, the spinoff that birthed from WandaVision starring Kathryn Hahn, took Marvel in a direction fans never expected, and they absolutely loved it. The show knows what it is and doesn’t take itself too seriously.

And with spot-on casting and a ridiculously catchy tune, the show has won over enough hearts to spark demands for a second season. But there’s just one catch, it can only happen under one condition.
Will Agatha All Along Season 2 happen?
Agatha All Along is campy, fun, and arguably one of the gayest shows Marvel has ever produced, and fans are loving every second of it. Unlike the usual superhero spectacle, this WandaVision spinoff takes a deep dive into magic and witchcraft, a side of the Marvel universe that isn’t often explored.
With its wickedly fun energy, humor, and a world that feels refreshingly different from any go-to MCU affair, the show is both intriguing and wildly entertaining.

However, despite its moderate success and a growing cult following, Marvel executives don’t seem to be in a rush to push forward with a second season. Brad Winderbaum, the head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel, recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the show’s future. He explained,
I think it’s ‘linear series potential,’ A show like Agatha, to me, is concept based. Yes, a second season for sure is something that we would want to do, but let’s not rush it. Let’s get the right idea and then make it.
While there’s clearly a demand for more, it seems the decision to continue Agatha’s story will depend on how the larger MCU landscape lays out. For now, fans will just have to wait and see if the witch gets another chapter.
Patti LuPone has some intriguing news about the fate of Season 2!
More recently, Patti LuPone, who plays the mysterious Lilia Calderu in Agatha All Along, might have had a little oopsie daisy moment when it comes to revealing the show’s future.
While Marvel executives have been keeping everything tightly under wraps, leaving fans guessing about a potential second season, well let’s just say, LuPone wasn’t nearly as cautious.

During her interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show, the Broadway legend didn’t dance around the topic, she just said it like it is. Speaking of the second season she said,
There won’t be one. Jac Schaeffer, the creator, came into my trailer and she said, ‘Patti, I’m just here to tell you that Lilia’s going to die,’ and I went, ‘But I wanted a second season,’ and she said, ‘I don’t do second seasons.’ She said, ‘They wanted me to do a second season of WandaVision and I didn’t.’ She said, ‘There’s too much to write,’ so she does one-offs and I’m really hoping and praying that someday I get to work with her again because she’s magic.
Now well, whether Marvel wanted that information out or not, that’s another story. But LuPone’s little slip-up has fans curious, wondering if they’ll get to see the whole gang back for another season at all. For now, it seems like a second round isn’t off the table just yet, just depends on whether the right story comes along to make it happen.
