Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) was only a teenager when horror fans first became invested in the Scream franchise, and she likely could never have predicted the scary turn her life would take. Sidney’s history as an intelligent final girl is one reason why I’m hopeful that her return in Scream 7will be satisfying.
