A POPULAR Glasgow pub has revealed it has closed its doors for the final time in a heartbreaking announcement.
No. 87 Shawlands broke the news on Friday evening, leaving regulars and locals ‘gutted’.

The bar – which sits on Kilmarnock Road, on the south side of the River Clyde – has changed hands several times since its construction in 2016.
The news comes just a few months after the bar opened for business, back in October.
In a heartbreaking message shared to their Facebook page, they wrote: “Hey everyone.
“We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for all the incredible support you’ve shown us.
“Unfortunately, things didn’t pan out with the new landlord, and we are now away.
“Thank you for being a part of our journey at No. 87.
“We truly appreciate each and every one of you!
“Wishing you all the best, The No. 87. Team”
Fans have wasted no time in flooding to the post to share messages of support for the business.
One wrote: “So sorry to hear, lovely staff and a friendly atmosphere.
A second added: “Fantastic pub, fantastic staff. Thank you for everything. You truly are lovely people, all the best for the future.”
A third said: ” What a shame, it’s a great club.”
A fourth added: “What a wee gem of a pub. Gutted.”
