Black Clover might be going through a rough patch at the moment, but that does not diminish the series’ achievements so far. The anime has gifted fans with one highly rated episode after another and some godly scenes.
So here are the scenes that will ensure that there’s no better time than now to watch the anime. Surely, no one wants to be stuck watching past episodes when season 5 airs.
Charlotte’s shriek when her hands touched Yami’s
Charlotte’s crush on Yami is apparent to everyone around her…except for Yami. So when the magic knights try to set her up with the Black Bull captain, it ends in a huge disaster. And Yami is the biggest one to blame.
After getting advice on the A-Z of romance, Charlotte could not bear it when Yami’s hand touched hers as they both reached towards pepper at the same time. The result? Charlotte lets out a high-pitched scream before dashing away.
Charmy turns out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing in Black Clover
Charmy was always thought to be one of the underdogs of the Black Bull Squad. But that misguided idea ended in episode 114 of Black Clover when she attained a new form, which even she was unaware of.
She goes into an unconscious state, and the giant sheep that she usually summons turns out to be a wolf on the inside. Charmy herself grows up into an adult form. This form caused an uproar in fans as Charmy suddenly became everyone’s favorite.
The teacher-student combo whoops Dante’s a**
It’s not possible to exclude the Yami and Asta Vs. Dante battle when the topic is legendary Black Clover scenes. In episodes 162-167, Dante decides to treat Asta like a ragdoll. Everyone else is terrified and when Yami finally arrives…nothing gets better.
Yami then calls for Asta’s help, a move that makes most fans tear up. With both Asta and Yami working in tandem, the duo is finally able to nullify Dante’s powers, leaving a huge gash on his body. Dante recognizes that humans are not just his playthings.
The girl squad vs. Vanica
Vanica vs the combined forces of Lolopechka, Noelle, and Secre is a battle that should go down in Black Clover history. There were so many moments during the battle when Noelle and Secre almost had Vanica, only for the villainess to break out at the last moment with another unbelievable devil power boost.
Another unsung hero is obviously Noelle’s Valkyrie Dress and the Sea Dragon’s Roar, which at close range proved to be deadly.
Asta and Liebe make up with each other, Dattebayo-style
In episodes 169-170 of Black Clover, Liebe, Asta’s demon, manifests in a physical form. Nacht informs Asta that he has to defeat the devil to gain the upper hand. However, Asta had something else in mind altogether.
After defeating the devil, Asta asks him to be friends. He thanks the devil and expresses his wish to learn more about Liebe, catching him by surprise. Truly one of the best talk-no-jutsu scenes ever!
