Hibs vs Celtic preview
It was a heartbreaking ending for Celtic in Munich, conceding in the final minute of stoppage time to prevent a famous, historic win.
It would have only taken them to extra time but most people gave them no chance of doing that and it would’ve been a massive, massive result.
The performance to a man was as good as any they’ve put out in a long, long time on the continent and showed they can compete at this level.
They now return to domestic duties looking to temporarily extend their lead at the top to 16 points with an early Saturday kick-off at Hibs.
Hibs are unbeaten in 12 games since defeat at Celtic Park at the start of December, in a terrific turn of form from their early season slump.
The Hibees could move fourth with a win and cement their spot as a top six certainty given their remarkable consistency in recent weeks.
They’ve won five of their last six at home, with the only dropped points being a 3-3 draw with Rangers.
But this fixture hasn’t been kind to them, with Celts winning the last five meetings between the teams.

Tuesday’s goalscorer, Nicolas Kuhn had to go off late on with a knock and the quick turnaround likely means he’ll miss out here.
This could prove a chance for Yang to come in to what will be a testing game.
