Lately, Triple H’s WWE has been an absolute cinema. The storyline is so emotionally gripping that it keeps the fans on their toes. With another major pay-per-view, Elimination Chamber, right around the corner, WWE is excitedly marching towards WrestleMania 41, which will feature yet another hit grand event that will further add to its allure.
While fans are excited to see the match cards at the grandest stage of them all, one match has been highly anticipated in WWE’s history, that is, The Rock vs. Roman Reigns. Despite coming immensely close to turning the idea into a reality, WWE had to pull the plug on it.
With WrestleMania fever in full swing, The Brahma Bull has dropped several hints, fueling speculation about the potential match.
The Rock drops hints for the most anticipated match in WWE’s history
Roman Reigns vs. The Rock has been teased for years, and WWE had the opportunity to make the match a reality last year, as it featured the best storyline for the OTC. While Dwayne Johnson would have been an excellent choice for the final piece of the puzzle, WWE had to abandon the idea because they wanted Cody Rhodes to realize his father’s dream.
With new rivalries taking shape, fans are once again predicting how the showdown between The Final Boss and the Tribal Chief is once again on the table. Recently, the People’s Champ took to Instagram to talk to his fans about regrets, having goals, and committing to achieve them in the near future.
He emphasized how there is this one idea that he has been keen on doing for a long time and how he is “guilty of that s**t all the time.” However, he is now dedicated to doing “that thing,” and he will work on it, ensuring that it becomes a reality.
What got the fans’ attention was how he kept repeating “day one,” drawing a potential parallel with Reigns’ tweet, “Yesterday I mourned. Today is Day 1.” after his defeat against Rhodes. Johnson’s Instagram caption also read,
Day one or one day. Action begets action and the universe always conspires when we lock into our intention with those things we want to accomplish. Make it a ‘day 1′ move.
If that’s not all, in a separate interview with ESPN, the Red Notice actor stated how they are planning to create the “biggest WrestleMania of all time and the biggest match of all time” at this year’s biggest PPV. He said,
We’re on the 1-yard line to create the biggest WrestleMania of all time and the biggest match of all time at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. I’ll just leave it at that, Final Boss style.
While nothing has been teased as of yet in the RAW or SmackDown segments, it will be enthralling to see if the dream match finally becomes a reality.

In an exciting turn of events, a fan page (@WWEisCINEMA) shared a number of screenshots that hint at WWE’s ‘can’t miss moment’ at WrestleMania 41. It even shared a screenshot of a tweet from WWE, where Johnson mentions that he is “thinking 20 steps ahead,” with the account stating how he “ALWAYS has a plan.”
The teaser has got the fans riled up, as they are now thrilled to see the match at this year’s WrestleMania, with Las Vegas being the perfect venue for hosting the most-awaited match in WWE’s history. The fans commented,

With Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania opponent still a mystery, it might be possible that the Black Adam actor returns at the Elimination Chamber, as the fan mentioned how the “true” road to WrestleMania commences from the Elimination Chamber. Thus, creating a plot bigger than any Martin Scorsese film.
