Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg has responded to a question surrounding a canonical issue regarding Johnny’s mother, Laura Lawrence Weinberg. The hit Netflix show concluded after season 6 part 3 aired its final five episodes, with strong finale episodes and satisfying closure for pretty much all the Cobra Kai ensemble cast. The show has done a stellar job of enriching the mythology set in place by the Karate Kid movies and was able to satisfactorily expand on this universe three decades later while respecting the source material in the process. However, it appears that one detail was overlooked while filming a key Johnny scene.
