The Brutalist has won a lot of awards in a variety of categories across a multitude of festivals and award ceremonies. The three-and-a-half-hour epic drama is the vision of director Brady Corbet and stars Adrien Brody as Holocaust survivor and accomplished architect László Tóth. Released in 2024, The Brutalist was met with a ravenous response to almost everyone who saw it. Reviews praised the work of fiction for its massive scope and moving portrait of survival and trauma. This made the film a contender for several 2025 Oscars nominations, from the biggest prize to multiple below-the-line categories.
