Dennis Miracles Aboagye has explained that Yaw Adomako Baafi was not happy with his appointment as communications manager for the Bawumia campaign.
According to him, Adomako Baafi could not stand the fact that he as a young man will be his boss.
Therefore, the allegation that he squandered money for campaign communications is borne out of dislike for his person.
“Yaw Adomako Baafi did not like the fact that I was his boss. He could not come to terms that he will be reporting to a small boy. So he did not take part in the campaign. For most part of the campaign he was even sick and even the times that he was well, he never showed up for meetings. He was in just one of our meetings and that was it,” he said on Asempa FM.
He denied allegations of hoarding campaign communications budget indicating that he was never in charge of funds during the 2024 campaign.
“I wasn’t the campaign finance director so I did not handle any money. Journalists we worked with were aware of this. Even multimedia that played our ads know that I was not in charge of finance,”he said.
