Ever since the beginning of time when she was just a little girl, Millie Bobby Brown didn’t hesitate to let known her interest in the creative arts—so much so that it really did set her apart from the rest of her siblings. During an interview with the Daily Mail in 2016, her father, Robert Brown, revealed details about the same, saying:
My other children would watch cartoons, but Mill watched musicals — Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Annie and Bugsy Malone. She’d belt out a tune. She was performing from day one.
That said, it didn’t take long for her parents to recognize her enormous talent. But while that was that, her acting affair didn’t start until the day she found herself really bothering her father.
As Millie Bobby Brown confessed during the same interview, “I was annoying my father one Saturday and he said, ‘We need to find you something fun to do.’” This led to her parents enrolling her in acting classes. Per the Damsel star, “It was acting, dancing, singing four hours every Saturday. There was a showcase and an agent said she wanted to represent me.”

After realizing there was more to their daughter than what met the eye, Robert Brown had a friend introduce his daughter to Melanie Greene of Affirmative Entertainment, who became her manager. They moved to Hollywood to support Millie Bobby Brown’s acting dreams. But throughout it all, the financial struggle was real for the Brown family.
While the Stranger Things star has a current net worth of a whopping $14 million (per Celebrity Net Worth), when her family relocated, Robert and Kelly Brown really sacrificed everything for their creatively talented daughter. In fact, at a time when things got especially rough for them, Greene even reportedly helped the family financially.
