X is DOWN as users across the world report outages on social media app – which used to be called Twitter

X IS down as thousands of users report outages on the social media platform, formerly known as Twitter.

Tech website Downdetector has announced: “User reports indicate problems at X.”

Since 9.25am today there have been 10836 reports of X outages on the website.

Downdector provides real-time updates about the performance of online services.

Before 9am there were no reported issues with X.
