The Avengers Tower seems to have been acquired by Val in the MCU, which is allegedly set to herald a darker time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is possible that post-Secret Wars, this could herald a plotline for Thor 5 which might give Chris Hemsworth the tone shift that he wanted.
Thor: Love and Thunder saw the character adopt some more responsibilities, and it is perhaps the case that the character is still finding himself in the grand scheme of things. It must be noted that Hercules is on his heels after the humiliation that Zeus faced, which could lead to a storyline similar to the Siege even in the Marvel universe, where New Asgard finds itself under attack from the Dark Avengers.

With the Sentry and Hercules firmly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems the time is right to have another Thor film that could see him face off against multiple adversaries of similar power levels. It has been a while since Thor has been party to a good old-fashioned smackdown, which Hercule and The Sentry will be able to provide for the character.
The Siege storyline could also give New Asgard, a major world power at this point, some legitimacy on the planet, beyond being relegated to being a tourist attraction. New Asgard currently houses a population of aliens from all over the cosmos, including the Skrulls that Captain Marvel shipped to the planet.
A Siege storyline that has Thor protecting New Asgard and its refugees from Dark Avengers has the opportunity of being the epic Thor film that fans have been wanting to get from the MCU. Get the Guardians involved to help Thor and you really have a film that has the potential to undo the damage done to the character in the previous installment.
Thor 5 will likely not have Beta Ray Bill either
Beta Ray Bill has been a very important character in the world of Thor in the Marvel Universe. However, the character has been altogether absent from the MCU, save what can be called a cameo in Thor: Ragnarok as one of the Champions of the arena. It must also be noted that Bill’s claim to fame, with him being the first-ever character to wield Mjolnir outside the Norse Pantheon, has already been executed by the likes of Captain America and The Vision, which sort of makes his appearance in the MCU moot.
However, since it can be assumed that Surtur is still at large in the MCU, it is possible that Beta Ray Bill’s story can still unfold, and if not Mjolnir, much like in the comics, the character can choose to wield Surtr’s sword, Twilight, and even settle in New Asgard with the other alien races. This would give Midgard a protector on equal footing with Thor, one that he can trust, without him having to step out of his role as caregiver for Love.
