George Clooney’s wife is reportedly happy about the actor’s friendship with Brad Pitt turning cold. Fans are aware that the two Hollywood legends have shared a camaraderie that goes back decades.

They have also started in multiple big-budget projects together that fans seemed to love. However, reports suggest that they have recently drifted apart, and their latest film, Wolfs, might have played a part in it.
What is even more intriguing is that a source also claimed that George Clooney’s wife, Amal, couldn’t be happier about the fact if she tried. With the recent upheavals Brad Pitt has been facing in his life, this recent report has obviously caught the attention of fans.
George Clooney’s wife Amal is reportedly happy about his and Brad Pitt drifting apart
George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney, an international human rights lawyer, are reportedly heading for a “trial separation” due to their work commitments. While Clooney is set to mark his Broadway debut in New York City at age 63, his wife is set to return to her alma mater, Oxford Universit,y as a professor.

In fact, both parties have already moved to their separate locations, with their twins moving to the UK with their mother as of now. Although a Radar Online report claimed that Amal is “happy” and “supportive” about her husband chasing his dreams, the decision to split might not have come out of the blue.
If sources are to be believed, Amal has been the one to encourage the veteran actor to step back from the Hollywood circles in recent years, as “she never felt comfortable or fitted in”. Moreover, she allegedly also wasn’t very fond of Clooney’s friendship with Brad Pitt as the report claimed.
She wasn’t happy about him teaming up with Brad (Pitt) and it didn’t seem genuine for them to be buddying up when Brad’s hardly in George’s life any more. It wasn’t a very comfortable situation for her. It’s safe to say she’s secretly pleased there’s no sequel.
Interestingly, while their latest movie Wolfs was bound for a sequel initially, the director cancelled the project following the movie bombing in the box office.
With reports of the actors having fallen apart in the wake of it, fans have been speculating whether their deteriorating relationship had a hand in the sequel’s cancellation. Whatever the case, at least Amal Clooney is reportedly happy about the situation at hand.
George Clooney and Brad Pitt’s friendship has reportedly fallen apart recently
George Clooney and Brad Pitt have shared a long-lasting friendship both on and off screen since they first starred together in Ocean’s Eleven way back in 2001. However, recent reports suggest that both stars have drifted apart from each other’s life in the past few months.

According to Radar Online, the reason behind that seems to be their lives getting too busy in completely different directions to keep their friendship afloat.
The report also claimed that their friendship had taken a hit previously during Pitt’s long-term relationship and eventual marriage with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. As stated above, George Clooney’s wife Amal Clooney reportedly disapproved of his friendship with Brad Pitt.
As per the outlet, though, Jolie, too, harbored similar feelings towards the lawyer. The report claimed that Jolie allegedly did not approve of Amal Clooney and thought of her as “a wannabe who was treading on her territory as a globe-trotting do-gooder”.
Ange always felt threatened by Amal and her impressive pedigree. She immediately took a dislike to her and made it impossible for George and Brad to spend time together.
Their friendship allegedly deteriorated to the point that Pitt didn’t even attend the Clooneys’ wedding in 2014. They have reportedly rebuilt their friendship in recent years following Pitt’s messy divorce proceedings with Jolie, but now it seems to have fallen apart again over time.
Interestingly, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that George Clooney and Brad Pitt are slated to return together for Ocean’s Fourteen soon. In light of the recent reports, though, it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out.
Wolfs is streaming on Apple TV+.
