Return of Meghan Markle’s mysterious £60k pinky ring and the secret message she’s sending As Ever fans

ROYAL fans are always quick to notice Meghan Markle’s jewellery, and one mysterious item has been recently turning heads.

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, is clearly a fan of wearing a £60,000 pinky ring, which was seen in her new Netflix clips from With Love, Meghan.

Meghan’s eye-catching diamond pinky ring – made by celebrity jeweller Lorraine Schwartz – certainly doesn’t come cheap at an estimated £60,000.

The royal mum-of-two first wore the ring back in October 2020 when she posed for a Time magazine cover with Prince Harry.

It was reported that the glittering ring featured diamonds given as a gift from the Middle East, but these claims have been denied.

We’ve also seen her wearing the 3-carat emerald cut diamond ring at the Invictus Games in Germany in 2023.

And it turns out it has a deeper meaning behind it.

Maxwell Stone of Steven Stone said: “The shape of the diamonds cut represents stability and strength, which is particularly fitting for Meghan who has faced a series of hardships since her and Prince Harry made the decision to withdraw from the Royal Family.

“I’d estimate the ring to be worth £56,000 ($70,000).”

It’s not the only pinky ring Meghan has been seen wearing.

While supporting her husband at the Invictus Games in Vancouver and Whistler, Meghan was seen wearing a new signet ring with a hidden meaning.

Typically signet rings are associated with aristocracy and the upper class, and are typically passed down between generations.

Meghan’s has been engraved with a cursive ‘HM’ with a coronet above it, which is the couple’s royal monogram designed after their 2018 wedding.

The royal cipher can be seen on all their official correspondence – and Meghan’s ring could have been sending a poignant message.

Some royal watchers claimed it could be seen as the Duchess of Sussex’s way of confidently signalling she is still a member of the royal family, even if she’s not a senior working royal.

Royal historian Gareth Russell said: “There is a long history of small, beautiful and often personal rings being made for monarchs centuries ago – Richard III, Henry VIII, Mary I, and Elizabeth I all had them.

“More recently, the signet ring was first popularised for royal women by Diana, Princess of Wales, in the 1980s, a trend that has continued with the current Princess of Wales and the Duchess of Edinburgh.”

The Middleton family also have signet rings with their official coat of arms, which was given to them by the late Queen after Princess Kate and Prince William’s 2011 wedding.

In addition to these two pinky rings, Meghan also has worn a Missoma’s Open Heart design on the same finger.

This comes as Meghan’s new Netflix cooking show, With Love, Meghan, will air on March 4 in an eight-part series.

Yesterday, Meghan shared behind the scenes footage of her upcoming Netflix show with Prince Harry making a surprise appearance.

Meghan captioned her latest Instagram post: “Six more days until our show launches on @netflix!

“Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins.”

Footage showed her dancing in the kitchen and preparing a variety of dishes.

And Prince Harry was also seen making a cameo in the video.

A trailer for the programme showed Meghan, 43, inviting friends and famous guests to a California estate where she shares cooking, gardening and hosting tips.

The Netflix show will have eight 33-minute episodes featuring a host of Meg’s various Hollywood friends trying her simple, yet “elevated”, food.

According to Netflix, With Love, Meghan will offer a fresh take on the lifestyle genre, blending practical tips with candid conversations.

“Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected,” the streaming giant said in a statement.

It comes as the Duchess of Sussex announced the launch of As Ever – her new lifestyle brand which will sell jams, and tie in with her upcoming Netflix show.

However, Meghan was effectively banned from selling clothes under her new brand, according to court documents.

Meghan Markle’s £15k ‘push present’ from Prince Harry

MEGHAN Markle has a staggering jewellery collection – but have you ever noticed the £15,000 “push present” piece that Prince Harry gave to her?

Following the birth of their son Archie, who is now four, the Duke of Sussex reportedly bought Meghan a sapphire pinky ring.

According to Grazia: “Meghan Markle has several [pinky rings] in her collection, including a blue sapphire heart by Jessica McCormack, believed to be a ‘push present’ after Archie was born.”

We saw Meghan wear the exquisite pinky ring as she attended Wimbledon in July 2019.

The heart-shaped item is from Jessica McCormack’s Signature collection and is said to be “set with a 0.94 carat heart cut sapphire handcrafted in blackened 18k white gold and 18k yellow gold”.

However, it’s not the only item rumoured to be Meghan’s “push present” from Harry.

Some fans thought Meghan’s “third wedding ring” is a special gift to celebrate Archie’s birth.

Alongside Meghan’s gold banded three-stone engagement ring, which includes two diamonds from Princess Diana’s collection, and her plain gold wedding band, the Duchess often wears another gold ring.

Push presents have “become a tradition in the royal family” over the years, according to royal etiquette expert Myka Meier.

Prince William is reported to have given Kate Middleton a £1,000 white gold eternity ring after the birth of their first son, George, which she wears on her wedding finger.
