CHELTENHAM is HERE – and so to is our man Templegate with a helping hand.
All this week, our tipping maestro is on hand with his daily Placepot tips to hopefully help you with your selections.

There’s no better time to play, too. A whopping £750,000 has been guaranteed in the pot by Tote every single day of the Cheltenham Festival!
The Placepot is a bet where you select a horse to be placed in the FIRST SIX races of any meeting.
You can pick more than one horse in a race – you just multiply the number of selections in each race to calculate your stake. So for staking it’s 2x2x2x1x2x2 which adds up to 32 lines.
You can stake what you want upwards from 5p a line which would cost a total of £1.60. 10p a line is £3.20 and so on. Provided at least one in each race is placed, we get a payout!
And don’t forget to claim your £40 bonus when you stake £10 as a new customer with Tote HERE*.

Cheltenham Placepot tips – day one
LEG 1: Workahead, Romeo Coolio
WORKAHEAD comes from last year’s winning yard and beat William Munny when they met at Leopardstown. He has a lot of improvement to come.
ROMEO COOLIO clocked a fast time when winning a Grade 1 last time and should take a step forward for Gordon Elliott.
LEG 2: Majborough
MAJBOROUGH looks a few steps ahead of these rivals after his blistering Irish Arkle win last time.
LEG 3: Broadway Boy, Henry’s Friend, Katate Dori
BROADWAY BOY loves Cheltenham and has plenty of staying power for this trip. He comes here nice and fresh too.
HENRY’S FRIEND is a real stayer who showed no little class when scooting in by six lengths at Newbury last time out.
KATATE DORI comes from the in-form Sam Thomas yard and he finished strongly when winning at Kempton 17 days ago.

LEG 4: Lossiemouth, Kala Conti
LOSSIEMOUTH’s best form is on another level to these rivals and provided she’s over her fall at Leopardstown she is hard to beat.
KALA CONTI is improving with every run and will have no problem getting up the hill.
LEG 5: Constitution Hill
CONSTITUTION HILL ran close to his very best when winning the Christmas Hurdle and the others all have to raise their game.
LEG 6: Stencil, Puturhandstogether, Hot Fuss
STENCIL gave Triumph Hurdle favourite East India Dock a race here last time and looks more than a handicapper.
PUTURHANDSTOGETHER has been brought along quietly and was a good second at Fairyhouse last time.
HOT FUSS wasn’t disgraced in Grade 2 company on his last hurdles outing and is fit from an all-weather Flat handicap win.
