Mars has introduced the all new Raspberry Smash Bar in their chocolate lineup.
It is made up of a soft raspberry flavoured nougat and creamy caramel covered in thick milk chocolate.
And for just £1, bargain retailer B&M is stocking the loved Aussie treat in their shelves for fans to clear out.
The deal was spotted by a clever shopper who posted about it in the popular Facebook group NewfoodUK.
Fellow shoppers went wild, with one person saying: “I need this!”
While another person said: “I will have to try this next time.”
A third fan shared: “That sounds lush! Raspberries & chocolate. “
The new chocolate bar can be bought from your nearest B&M store, which can be found using their store finder system.
It comes after Mars Wrigley introduced a new flavour of an iconic treat – but fans were left divided.
They launched Coffee Snickers, a bitter sweet twist on their classic peanut, caramel and chocolate combo.
The controversial new flavour comes after a whopping two years of development and 13 different product prototypes.
Shoppers learned of the release through NewfoodsUK on Instagram.
They captioned their post: “Brand new Coffee Snickers!! Wow, now this is perfect!
“We love Snickers and love coffee so this combo is a win win! We got this from UK website @worldsnacksuk use code: NewFoodsUK for a discount.”
But, the interesting fusion has divided opinion.
“Nooooooooo…. Disgusting,” said one.
“Oh goodness no,” another agreed.
Snickers Coffee Flavour was being sold exclusively at 7-Eleven stores but has now been launched in supermarkets.
While it has not hit UK shops, the chocolate goodie can still be ordered online.
They are just £2.99 on the World Snacks UK website and are shipped around the country.
How to save money on chocolate
WE all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.
Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…
Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.
Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.
Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.
Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.
They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.
Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.
So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
