There’s no denying the fact that the Fortnite Festival is one of the best things Epic Games has introduced. The game mode was developed by Epic’s Boston-based subsidiary Harmonix Music Systems, which has been constantly collaborating with popular artists such as Lady Gaga and Hatsune Miku.

Currently, Fortnite Festival is in its seventh season, which started off in January 2025. While the next season is quite a while away, gamers can’t help but wonder who Epic Games will collaborate with next. Rumors suggest it’s going to be none other than Post Malone coming to the game in the near future.
Post Malone’s potential debut in Fortnite Festival

Post Malone is one of the most famous musicians out there. He’s an American singer, writer, and producer who has brought some ground-breaking changes to a number of music genres.
Reputable Fortnite insider ShiinaBR has posted on Twitter/X that Post Malone might feature in the upcoming Fortnite Festival Season 8. Even though it’s a rumor, gamers are all hyped up and can’t wait to see their favorite artist in the game mode.
RUMOR: Post Malone could be the next Fortnite Festival artist 🔥
Personally, I can neither confirm nor deny this leak, but I will be able to in a few weeks. So, take it with a grain of salt for now!

It’s crucial to take these rumors with a grain of salt, as Epic Games hasn’t confirmed anything officially yet. Few weeks ago, rumors suggested that Sabrina Carpenter would be the star for Season 8 but it seems like things have changed once again.
Still, though, a Post Malone feature in Fortnite Festival wouldn’t be surprising at all. He’s always been vocal about his love for gaming, including titles such as Call of Duty and Apex Legends.
Even beyond that, he’s an avid trading card collector and has a number of rare pieces. Given his love for gaming and trading cards, he’s the perfect choice for Fortnite Festival Season 8.
Fortnite is bringing a major feature soon

On the battle royale side of the game, it seems like Epic Games is planning for some new features as well. According to Loolo_WRLD, there will soon be a feature that allows gamers to purchase reboot cards that could allow them to bring dead teammates.
According to the leaker, the exact amount of gold needed to purchase the reboot cards is still not known and will be revealed when the feature is officially released.
BUYING REBOOT CARDS IS COMING SOON! 👀🔥
This feature will allow you to buy the reboot cards of the death members of your squad for gold (TBD amount), instead of needing to pick up their cards.

While it seems like an exciting addition, gamers aren’t really happy. Many in the community believe that it destroys the experience of collecting a teammate’s cards. As of now, if a player is eliminated, their reboot card alongside loot can be found on the spot.
This leads to teammates having to fight off enemies that took out their friends. Additionally, reboot cards have a time limit, which means that there is only a small window before one can save their friend.
