Still hellbent on his revenge plan, Fergal instructed Jacinta to antagonise Liam to keep him on the hook.
While Carol urged Liam to let things go with Jacinta.
Fergal was thrown when Liam asked him to give a talk to the local youth, but Liam humiliated him at the talk by probing about his troubled childhood.
Jacinta fired back at Liam before Gar shut him down.
Fergal feigned gratitude towards Liam after the talk, and Carol called him out for embarrassing Fergal, urging him to call a truce with Jacinta.
However, Jacinta had different ideas and encouraged Fergal to take action against Liam.
RTE viewers flocked to social media to express their opinions after Liam attempted to ruin his plan.
One viewer wrote: “Very vile Liam from a former priest.”
Another viewer said: “They are both playing each other.”
William tweeted: “I can’t figure out if the writers want us to like or hate Liam!”
Sylvia remarked: “So ritual humiliation is Liam’s idea of help?”
Elsewhere in Carrigstown, Gwen tried to secure a place to stay with Georgie; when that failed, she approached Sharon.
Meanwhile, James was evasive towards Emma’s questions about his work.
NEW ROOMMATE
After Sharon also refused her, Gwen confronted Georgie for badmouthing her.
However, Georgie stood his ground and called Gwen a user.
And James was delighted to see Gwen leave, but was left reeling after discovering that Emma agreed to let her stay with them.
Elsewhere on the show, a spiteful Ian played a joke on Greg at work.
WORK PALS
Trying to give some back, Greg joined Maxine in lightly teasing him, but Ian didn’t see the humour in it.
And Sash was unimpressed when Nikki tasked her with selling a phone at McCoys.
But she panicked when Maxine enquired about a missing phone, deducing that Nikki must have nicked it.
She decided to return Maxine’s phone, lying that a customer had turned it in.
However, Sasha was horrified to learn that the phone was not Maxine’s after all.
Lastly, Greg and Jess attempted to dissuade Ellie from her interest in Ian.
