The executive producer of Pamela Anderson’s cooking show addressed comparisons to Meghan Markle’s With Love, Meghan.
“We take pride in planting the first seeds — creating original, distinctive programming that audiences love — and it’s a compliment to see our work with Ms. Anderson resonate so strongly,” Jesse Fawcett told The Daily Mail on Tuesday, March 4.
Fawcett cocreated, wrote and produced Pamela’s Cooking With Love, starring Anderson, 57, which is currently airing on Canada’s Flavour Network. Throughout the series, the Last Showgirl star — plus sons Brandon and Dylan from her marriage to now-ex Tommy Lee — meets up with professional chefs to create new concoctions. Gregory Gourdet, Jonathan Zeiler, Nancy Silverton, Melissa King, Mike Solomonov and more cooks have appeared in episodes.
“We got to retrofit the barn and my son’s fiancé, Paula, designed the kitchen. She’s a great designer,” Anderson said on Canada’s Etalk in February. “So, I’m just calling in the troops. I have the kids involved, my mom and dad are involved — everybody’s on the show I know and love.”

Pamela’s Cooking With Love was also produced by Brandon, 28.
“He’s an incredible producer and he just knew. He said, ‘Mom, I just want you to do all the things you love. We’ll create businesses around it and you can just be you,’” Anderson recalled to the Canadian outlet. “I said, ‘OK, I want to do a cooking show,’ and they created this magical environment, where I could also do crafts, which I really love to do and centerpieces. I know it sounds crazy, but I’ve always been like this.”
She continued, “I’ve always set the table and set the tone and the environment [in our neighborhood], which I think is really important to the experience of eating. It was just fun to do. It was a dream come true.”

Meghan, 43, also has a cooking and lifestyle show that premiered via Netflix on Tuesday. In With Love, Meghan, the duchess invited a slew of her own famous friends — namely Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer and makeup artist Daniel Martin — as she rediscovered her love of cooking, floral arrangements and DIY crafts.
Stars Who Have Had Their Own Cooking Shows Over the Years
“I’ve always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it,” Meghan said on her show. “Surprising people with moments that lets them know I was thinking of them.”
Meghan previously highlighted similar topics on her The Tig blog, which she shuttered upon her marriage to Prince Harry in 2018. Meghan and Harry, 40, stepped back from their senior royal duties in 2020, now raising kids Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, in California.
