In chapter 1142 of One Piece, a revolutionary Devil Fruit has been introduced by Eiichiro Oda. And one can easily assume that it is the most terrifying power that has been introduced in the series so far. The chapter introduced Saint Sommers and his Devil Fruit, who are likely to play huge roles in the upcoming arcs of One Piece.
Needless to say, the Straw Hats are bound to face this deadly knight, and the battle will be fiercer than ever. But one of the pirates in particular might face a worse ordeal than others.
Saint Sommer’s Devil Fruit in One Piece might bring the worst nightmares of the Straw Hats to life

Chapter 1142 of One Piece introduced the deadly Devil Fruit of Saint Sommers. It allows Sommers to find out the most feared thing of a person only to turn it into a reality. The ability seems similar to a shape-shifting monster in Harry Potter, called a Boggart that takes the form of a person’s worst fear.
Nonetheless, Sommers’ ability is fearsome and he demonstrates his powers plenty in the chapter. Sommers used his powers on the Elbaph kids and conjured the World Serpent Jormungandr, a Fenrir, a giant flying bird, ghosts, and what not. But the worst part is that these aren’t just illusions.

The beings or objects called forth by Sommers are very much real, and they need to be defeated to keep Elbaph safe. Thus, one has to overcome their deepest, darkest fears in order to survive. Which leads one to think that Sommers is likely to bring out the darkest fear of the Straw Hats at some point as well.
Zoro might soon face the thing that he fears the most
In chapter 1038 of One Piece, Zoro is surprised as he sees a Grim Reaper standing over him wielding a scythe. He can’t move at all despite being in imminent danger. To date, it has not been revealed who the Grim Reaper was that Zoro saw. Thus, a major speculation is that the being was conjured by Zoro due to his imminent fears.

Zoro is not afraid of death per se; however, he is scared of losing his nakama, the Straw Hats. He can go to hell and back for Luffy and the rest of his pirates. In fact, he has been knocking on death’s door several times only to come back asking for more. Thus, Zoro’s biggest fear is the Grim Reaper taking away his friends and family.
But since Saint Sommers can give a form to people’s fears, if Zoro faces him, the Grim Reaper might actually become alive. And this time, Zoro has to fight his hardest to make sure that the Straw Hats stay alive. It is possible that defeating the Grim Reaper would be the ultimate test of strength for Zoro.
