Former Olympian Ryan Wedding Joins FBI’s Most Wanted for Drug Trafficking and Murders

Ryan Wedding, a former Olympic snowboarder for Canada, has been added to the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list in connection with a large-scale drug trafficking network and multiple murders. The U.S. State Department is offering a $10 million reward for information leading to his arrest. Wedding, who competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics, is accused of orchestrating a drug operation that moved approximately 60 tons of cocaine annually between Colombia, Mexico, Southern California, and Canada.

Authorities allege that Wedding and his group were involved in several murders, including the killing of two family members in Canada over a mistaken stolen shipment. The FBI has already arrested a dozen individuals related to the case. Wedding, who allegedly used aliases such as “El Jefe,” “Public Enemy,” and “James Conrad King,” was charged with murder and drug offenses last June, with further charges added in September.
