Don’t fret, Demi Moore’s dog Pilaf has a message of support following her 2025 Oscars loss.
“My winner everyday!! I love you mommy!! Couldn’t be prouder,” the pup’s Instagram account captioned a photo on Thursday, March 6. Moore, 62, is holding Pilaf on her head in the image.
The 4-year-old Micro Chihuahua’s account shared a second photo on Thursday, in which she was curled up in Moore’s lap. (Pilaf has risen to fame in her own right as Moore’s companion and even received a Vogue cover in August 2024.)
“Wholesome fry fest !! Emotional support Pilaf reporting for duty!!!” the caption read. “Love to everyone and every dog!”
Demi Moore Congratulates Mikey Madison on Best Actress Oscar Win After Loss
The second photo came from Moore’s post-Oscars hotel party in which she enjoyed two large bowls of French fries on Sunday, March 2, after losing the Academy Award for Best Actress to Mikey Madison.
Following the loss, Moore posted several photos from the star-studded awards ceremony. She posed alongside daughters Rumer, 36, Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party in one image. (Moore shares her three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis.)
“My beautiful dates to #VFOscars,” the caption read. “Couldn’t do any of this without the support of my girls! Love you endlessly!”
Moore also said goodbye to the 2025 awards season in a separate post.
“#VFOscars in custom @gucci,” she wrote on Tuesday, March 4. “The perfect last look of this crazy ride!”
Demi Moore’s Pilaf and Beyond: Hollywood’s Most Pampered Pooches
The actress was the favorite to win Best Actress at Sunday’s awards ceremony after taking home the Golden Globe and SAG Award for her role in The Substance. Madison, 25, beat out Moore, along with Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo, Emilia Pérez’s Karla Sofía Gascón and I’m Still Here’s Fernanda Torres for the win.
“This is very surreal,” Madison said on Sunday. “Forgive me, I’m nervous so I’m going to read off a paper. Thank you so much to the Academy. I grew up in Los Angeles, but Hollywood always felt so far away from me. So, to be here standing in this room today is really incredible.”
Madison, who played a stripper in Anora, also thanked the “sex worker community” in her speech.
“I will continue to support and be an ally,” she continued. “The women that I’ve had the privilege of meeting from that community have been one of the highlights of this entire incredible experience.”
