As Blake Lively’s legal battle with Justin Baldoni progresses, the actress recently attended the world premiere of her upcoming film, Another Simple Favor, the sequel to Paul Feig’s A Simple Favor (2018). While Blake Lively reunited with Anna Kendrick for the film, fans are fully convinced that the two actresses do not get along with each other. Now, it could be true or it could be far-fetched, but as far as Blake Lively is concerned, working with Anna Kendrick again has been nothing but great.
At the world premiere, Blake Lively was asked about returning to work with the Pitch Perfect actress and her response would’ve put an end to feud rumors but Anna Kendrick sure had other plans.

Thanks to past interviews, netizens have come up with the conclusion that Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively did not get along with each other on the set of A Simple Favor. An interview with Josh Horowitz for MTV News played a big part in these rumors after Kendrick made comments like, “[I] thought she seemed nice…little did I know…” about Lively.
While Paul Feig once denied the rumors, it’s going to take a lot more than that to convince the fans.
Now, Lively and Kendrick attended the premiere of Another Simple Favor at the 2025 SXSW Film & TV Festival which took place on March 07. While signing autographs and posing with fans for selfies, Lively was asked, “Blake, what does it mean to be back with Anna?“
Dressed in nude latex dress and a smile on her face, Lively replied, “Oh, it’s the best! I’m so happy to be here.” Take a look:

For anyone watching, this probably would have put an end to the feud rumors as Lively genuinely seemed very grateful for her collaboration with the Into the Woods actress.
However, let’s not jump to conclusions before we see Kendrick’s reaction to the same question.

Known for her blatant personality, sharp wit, and unfiltered sarcasm, Kendrick has never disappointed with her interviews and conversations. Truly, the woman is a treat to watch.
Wearing a stunning strapless black jumpsuit at the SXSW, Kendrick was also out and about signing autographs and meeting her fans when someone asked her the same question Lively was asked.
A person from the crowd shouted, “Anna, what does it mean to be working with Blake again?” Unlike her co-actress, Kendrick simply replied in the most nonchalant way possible, “Oh, you know…” before walking away to take more photographs with her fans.
