1. For Tired Eyes: I’m very particular about concealer, mainly because it’s usually the only complexion makeup I wear. I need it to seamlessly disguise my dark under eyes (I swear I never get enough sleep!) and cover up the discoloration left behind by hormonal acne. The Skin Solution Serum Concealer does both beautifully. It feels like nothing on my skin, yet it works overtime to hydrate and lighten marks, thanks to a mix of caffeine and kojic acid. Plus, since it’s self-setting, it doesn’t crease after long days, even when I forget to apply a powder. It really is a concealer that does it all!
2. The Ultimate Clean Mascara: I’ve never found a clean mascara that I liked. . . until now. Most clean formulas don’t create a wow-worthy effect (I like my lashes to look like I’m wearing falsies, even when I’m not), but Day Lash Lifting and Defining Mascara is the exception. The first time I wore it, multiple people asked what mascara I was wearing — my lashes were that defined. 3. A Powerful Liquid Eyeshadow: I tend to stray away from liquid eyeshadow — and anyone with hooded eyes will understand. Even if a formula says it’s smudge- and crease-free, annoying lines appear hours after application. That simply wasn’t the case with Sheer Stay. To say I was amazed at the staying power is an understatement. Beyond the creaseless experience, the soft, shimmery shadows are infused with caffeine to de-puff and are suitable for day-to-night wear. My favorite color is Mystic, a bronzey-green that has completely leveled up my smokey eye game.
4. A Low-Key Lippie: You know when you want a little color on your lips but don’t want to fully commit to lipstick? This lip serum was made for those days (and pretty much every day). A cross between a lip balm and a tinted gloss, it keeps my pout comfy with a nourishing blend of shea butter and vitamin E. It glides on like butter and feels slightly cooling, and while one swipe imparts a sheer wash of color, it can also be built up for more of a pop.
5. A Natural-Looking Bronzer: I can’t count how many times I’ve tried the lightest bronzer shade only to be left with an orange streak across my face. Luckily, I didn’t experience that with this easy-to-use stick. Simply glide it along your cheeks and jawline, then blend for more definition. I love the color the most — August, the light-medium hue, gives me a delicately bronzed glow that looks oh-so-natural.
6. For Protection With a Tint: As I mentioned above, I’m not one to regularly wear complexion products. However, on the days I do, it’s most likely Versed’s weightless skin tint. This is essentially a hydrating facial serum with a touch of buildable pigment and SPF 40 protection! Packed with moisturizing ingredients, like hyaluronic acid, and skin brighteners, like kakadu plum extract, it feels like nothing while effectively evening out discoloration for a cohesive skin tone. People won’t be able to tell you’re wearing anything, either, since it leaves behind a skin-like finish.
