Birthdays are emotional for moms. How are our babies growing up so fast? Jenna Dewan is all in her feels this week as her son Callum just turned 5. She shared super sweet photos of her “sunshine” son, who she shares with fiancé Steve Kazee, and we’re getting emotional too!
“Happy 5th birthday to our sunshine in human form Callum 🥹,” The Rookie star captioned the post on Instagram on Thursday. “My only mission as your parent is to do everything I can to help keep your special sparkle light pure happiness radiating joy energy radiating as natural as it does now for always.”
She continued, “You are the best sweetest most hilarious boy ever, the most fun brother ever and we couldn’t love you more!!” Aww! Dewan also shared her promise as his mama: “I’ll go to every bowling lane in the world with you and shoot baskets till the end of time 😂”
“I’m so grateful to be your mommy!!” Dewan added.
In addition to her heartfelt tribute, Dewan also shared several pictures of Callum throughout the years, including one of her and her baby boy taking a bath together; a video of her dancing with Callum as a newborn; and pictures of Callum playing sports and doing tae kwon do now. There are also snaps of Callum with his sisters, including one of him hugging his baby sister Rhiannon, now 8 months, in matching Cars pajamas, and one of his older sister Everly, 11, holding him. He had his birthday party at a bowling alley, with a cute cake featuring a lane with bowling balls and the letter “5” with Callum dressed in the cutest bowling shirt with hair combed back for the party. He’s so precious!
The Step Up alum shared more pictures of Callum on her Instagram story, including one of him in a basketball uniform. “I cannot believe you are 5 😭” she wrote. “My angel baby forever I love you so much!!!”
In an interview with E! News last month, Dewan gushed about motherhood. “I really honestly love being a mother so much,” she said. “Even the really hard, straining, exhausting days. I absolutely love it. Watching them grow, watching them discover who they are and seeing their own unique personalities and quirks come out, I love being a mirror for them.”
They may be growing up fast, but Dewan is appreciating every moment. And it’s clear how much these kids are loved!
