Daredevil: Born Again started out with one of the biggest upsets that fans never saw coming. The first scene in the first episode of Born Again saw Benjamin Poindexter aka Bullseye, fatally shoot Foggy Nelson, leading to his demise. The show quickly established this as the status quo with a one year time jump, which set the tone for Matt’s conflict with being Daredevil.

However, fans are convinced that despite the one year time jump that the show put into place to cement Foggy Nelson’s death, the show actually had an Easter Egg that could point towards Nelson actually still being alive. The key, as it turns out, is in the address for Nelson, Murdock and Page, which seems apt if nothing else.
NM & P’s address seems to reference a particular comic book issue

The law firm that Foggy, Matt and Karen began running together is apparently located on an unknown street, but the number that is located on, as part of the address, seems to be 468. A random number by no means, this is the exact issue number that is titled The Secret Life of Foggy Nelson, which sees the character die…but not really.
On the operating table, Foggy makes a deal with the FBI to go into witness protection, which could allow the investigation of his murder to happen about hindrances. However, given that Foggy never made it to a hospital before he died in the show, could mean that Born Again might be heading down a different path. However, given that characters like Nick Fury have flatlined before (successfully faking it), there is no reason why Foggy can’t do the same either.
This could have larger ramifications on the plot that seems to be set in motion by the presence of Vanessa Fisk, who seems to be struggling to give up the power that she has accumulated in the absence of Wilson Fisk. Given that Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll would be returning for the second season of the show, the witness protection arc for Foggy might be the way to go.
Karen Page might be going down a dark path in the wake of Foggy’s death

If Foggy’s death is indeed real, then there is a possibility that Born Again is going to explore one of the darkest stories that Daredevil has been a part of, deal with with Karen Page’s descent into substance abuse, which causes Daredevil to lose almost everything to Wilson Fisk. Given Fisk’s crusade against vigilantes, and him being in the know about Matt’s secret identity, Fisk could exploit Karen’s addiction to get her to testify in court about Matt’s secret identity, or to provide some other evidence.
This would make sense given that the character did something similar in Born Again (the comics), which saw Matt’s identity revealed by Karen for a hit of the drug she was doing, completely destroying Matt’s life in the process. However, that she saw Matt rework his relationship with Karen, and come out stronger than ever, renewing his relationship with her.
